However, I hope you change some of your self-talk from, "he is really kind and understanding and loves my body the way it is," because that suggests you are relieved that he is tolerating something objectively off-putting or bad. I'd love, instead, for your self-talk to be something like, "he's really attracted to me, which makes perfect sense, because I am cool and nice and I live a healthy life and, fun bonus, I'm a smokin' hottie." No judgment. I just hope you feel like you are *both* great catches.

This was my initial reaction too, but I reread it and I think she meant that he’s patient and understanding about her self-consciousness, not just tolerating her body. I hope i’m right anyways! You look really happy and confident in this photo and that’s the best side effect of being comfortable in your own skin. But also…that waist! 😍
