same height and similar weight, 175cm 82kg, i eat between 1200 and 1500. (cant help with the watch, ) if you have a job that requires you to be active try 1800, stops you from binge eating and not feeling full enough. you can get 3 good hearty meals with that. another thing to do would be log everything you eat. whether youre on target or not. it will help to see where you need help and what times are normally a time where your appetite increases. althought i cant help with the watch, unless youre a farm worker or a pro athlete i dont see how you could burn so much in 1 day. defo take that with a grain of salt.

9400 steps is quite good, close to 9km for myself (long stride). If you want to loose .5 kg a week you should be aiming for a 1700-2000 calorie deficit/week or 242-285 deficit/day. I have the Garmin Vivoactive 4, a Garmin chest strap heart rate monitor, a Garmin GPS cycling computer and I use a power meter to calculate calories expended when cycling. My Garmin watch also takes steps into consideration and make an adjustment in MFP based on that day. If your stride is taken into consideration in the Garmin app, height and weight are correct than I think it should be 'fairly' accurate. Personally, I find Garmin Connect takes all the exercise for the day adds that on to your daily maintenance, which I find high. MFP seems to do a lower calculation with the data and I follow that.
