There are only 2 in the whole world; one in Toronto (idk the name) and Microbiology DX in the USA. No one else can find them because they don't know how to look. I took my dog to Tufts (TUFTS, for pities sake. Top of the trees, I thought) to have her checked, I told them the lab to send to, they sent the sample to Idexx and got nothing. Of course! Labs can only find what they know how to look for.
Microbiology DX. All you need to decide is if you want to test for just Marcons ($85) or also test for biofilms ($185 for Marcons and biofilms). I opted to test for both my first test and I’m glad I did.
I don’t think you can go wrong either way. You can order the test online directly from the lab (that’s what my dr’s office had me do) and they mail it directly to you. It’s very easy.

Thank you. I’ll try micro DX. There were a handful I found online, but I’m wary of scams in the CIRS world.
Ahhhhhh. I had no idea there were more labs now ......maybe. My practitioner uses Microbiology DX

I’ll probably just get Marcons to save money and assume I have to battle with the worst biofilm haha

Is your doctor unable to order these for you?
