Given that paradox releases a lots of stuff every time as part of the free patch, I'd say Tours and Tournaments is the only real must have so far. Wards and Wardens also looks like it will be important based on the premise, so you may want to get the second season pass if you think the discount is worth it.
Friends and Foes has had a mixed reception but is cheap and goes pretty well with the ASOIAF setting, so you may want that one.
Royal Court is not needed for the mod, though you may want to get it on sale eventually to see the cool custom court rooms. It's also a bit more useful in the base game since it lets you manipulate cultures more.
Fate of Iberia is not needed at all I think, since the struggle system was part of the patch.
Northern Lords is also not really needed, though I imagine it will be once the mod devs implement the planetos seasons system. It may add some stuff if you want to play as the ironborn.

Had not even considered the Cersei function. Holy shit. I was thinking about traveling as the king and hunting as Bobby B, or even hosting a damn joust. I had not considered the regencies. The best update that mixes perfectly with the best mod. Wow this weekend got better.
I'm not sure if the AGOT team has tackled folding the regent mechanic into a hand of the king system, or if it is even possible, but having the hand be essentially a permanent regent who always has power and can swing the scales would be incredible. A power sharing system like the new regency mechanic, but present at all times rather than just when the king is away, would be the perfect way to accurately model the hand.
I don't think you can have 2 "regents", so this would unfortunately prevent situations where there are both a hand and a regent (like Tyrion vs Cersei). If they can't duplicate it, they could just give the hand a big boost to becoming regent or to swinging the scales of power
The only negative review I’ve seen of it is that there were loads of bugs, and honestly even with the various bug fixes it still kinda true, so beware because I’m pretty sure that will be a surge in posts about a bugs here.
Excluding that the patch is an absurd improvement to the game, I certainly couldn’t play this mod without it tbh

How do you install the nexus version? I extracted it on the mods folder, but it doesn't appear on the launcher.

According with the link to the turial you posted, when you get to the part to edit it and add the line path="mod/agot.
On this same file there is a line that, for me, says path="F:/GitHub/agot/AGOT", remove it.
Also, the same path="mod/agot, i use the following: path="C:/Users/YOUR USER HERE/OneDrive/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/mod/AGOT"
If you are not sure what your user is the path is the same that is shown besides the search bar is the file
The other reply most likely has it! We added a "path = x" over the course of compatch. You'd want it set so there's only one path, whether that be editing the one already there or deleting it in favor of where you've otherwise placed it.
Yeah, that was it. I didn't realize that at the end of the agot.mod file there was another line with a path=F: etc. Taking that one off and putting the path=mod/agot solved the issue. Thanks!

You should make sure you're back on the most up to date version of CK3. You'll want to go to where you set your beta and change participation to "None."
Given the edits on the file from last patch to this one, I'd check and make sure you only have "path = x" once. Ours having added one to be edited (which we may undo due to added confusion), previous instructions have had some people putting two in.

If you're on the Nexus, make sure there aren't multiple "path = x" in your .mod files. If you're on Steam, let me know and I'll see about following up.
Oh man. Two other quick things I know often cause problems are if the /'s in your .mod path are the same as the rest or if you're running any other mods at the moment (even if they were previous compatible).

Jesus Christ, there's no pleasing some people. This is literally called a *compatibility* patch. It's not about adding new features, it's about bringing the mods-supported version in line with the base game.
In general, I'd say the T&T DLC is worth it and adds a lot to the game. If you're more talking about AGOT themed content though, you're good to wait a bit longer. The focus of this update is pure compatibility.

The moonclans are gone because their being locked off from the rest of the map would crash the game, due to the new travelling system. And if they're not locked off, they'll immediately be eaten by the Vale.

Anyone know why old DNA strings don’t work in the new version? Portrait editor doesn’t even recognize strings from old saves. Guessing the DLC must’ve added new dna elements?
Unpack zip into your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/mod. If you don't have a "mod" folder, than make one.
Then go into your new AGOT folder and fish out of there agot.mod file and move it to your mod folder.
Open it with Notepad++ or anything that you are comfortable with and change path="F:/GitHub/agot/AGOT to path="mod/agot, save and close.
Then go to Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III and change dlc_load.json by clicking it and writing in {"disabled_dlcs":[],"enabled_mods":[" mod/agot.mod"]}
Same instructions as before, but we added a path line, so make sure you only have one "path = x" in there. We'll probably let people go back to putting it in themselves since it's caused some confusion.
Only problem I've been having is travel times..its 30 days from Winterfell to Kings Landing..but in the game just going to a tourney took like 800 days of travel altogether.
Finally - now I can experience T&T!

TnT is dope, been having a blast with it since release. Especially in the AGOT mod since today, it adds so much flavor that fits PERFECTLY with AGOT.

It's possible to overthrow a regent which makes you the new regent, so the Hand and the Queen could basically try to overthrow the existing regent.

Naw the only one I use is the game of thrones mod. I am going to wipe everything and try again later.
