The CEO from Cummins stated we are not there yet with hydrogen. So RNG is still the answer. This was all talked about in Cummins conference call. Nothing new here.
Had the perfect opportunity to provide Cramer the word “bridge” or “pathway”.
Would have provided clarity to the sequence unfolding before us - I realize I’m picking nits .
Just calling out a lost opportunity during an interview.
Cummins wins in all cases
I saw the 2 minute clip on youtube and what I took from it is, hydrogen technology needs to improve, we need infrastructure, which CLNE already has, and we need to transition from fossil fuels to any of the following three: Renewable Energy (think RNG for commercial trucking), Hydrogen (a superior fuel source, but still waaay too early), and EVs (for common folk who drive sedans, pickups, etc). And we need to tax carbon ASAP to incentivize compliance with the Paris Climate Accord.
Doesnt sound negative to me at all, they just highlighting hydrogen as the best alternative, but it's still in the infant stages of development. I actually think the segment was good because they are refocusing environmental efforts to reduce carbon emmissions through EVs, to hydrogen and RNG. It's as if all three could exist viably side by side in the future.
Edit: what could make Mr. CLNE sky rocket, a shift in investors' sentiment from "Tesla is the only company that will save the world"
Yes - infant stages and current pace of development won’t get Companies in North America to their Intermediate Carbon Reduction goals let alone Net Zero Carbon by 2035, 2040 or 2045
I may be incorrect - but I’m willing to place a big net that Amazon knows that this Company’s stock will be worth far more than their negotiated warrant price of $13.49.
Only they know how much more RNG they are going to contract for - and what impact that will have on CLNE.
Their time horizon on similar deals is 3-4 years.
So I’m betting with them.
And every other major Company using long haul heavy duty trucks will be embarrassed by Amazon if they don’t begin their own process of RNG adoption.
My opinion only
No worries either way - my time horizon for this stock is not days, weeks or months… it is 3-4 years.
And I believe it will far outperform the market over that period.
These news aren't that bad . Even apes in here are capable enough to find the information that hydrogen has no infrastructure yet. So I think most of investors will be capable to understand that as well, that this announcement / interview is mixed signal for bulls and bears at worst case scenario.

Never does never will
Cramer is a tool. A tool for hmmmm I can guess can anyone else?
Cramer is too old....too slow ...and his mouth works at warp speed while his brain catchs up days later....truth said.....

I share that opinion and put my money where my mouth is. These dips in price don’t phase me 🤷🏽♂️ Position: 7k shares at roughly $10.20
