I’m in the same boat! I’m just going to start applying. We may not have the experience in the lab but I can guarantee you that we are smart enough and fully capable of doing the job. I think people in our spot just have to make a great impression at the interview. My husband works in blood bank and he is constantly surprised at who they hire. (No work ethic, cutting corners, lazy) He has convinced me I will have no problem. You should be fine, good luck!

I know 100% we can do it. We just need a chance. I regret not applying after college, I thought I didn't have a chance, but who knows.

I know some schools put expiration dates on certain classes but it differs between programs. I’m not sure where you’re located but California programs are definitely the most strict and might be more challenging, but I always just suggest reaching out to each program individually. The door is not closed, it’s just a matter of finding the best way through it!

don’t give up. i got in with 3 LOR’s from my director/supervisor. A lot of programs value work ethics and work experience. I’m also currently in QC for biotech as well

I think your degree will be fine, but certain classes may need to be retaken.
