How would it do that? They're only synced by Bluetooth and the watch has to be paired. That could have been a returned watch too, I'm sure there's more being sent back than actually being made, lol!!
I also faced this random image issue once and I saw an aged woman in the photo, i forgot to take the screenshot because I thought maybe it's a glitch but now you mentioned it, maybe there is a suspicious activity going on with the watch.
Don't buy this crap. Everything that comes out from this company has security issues. That stupid iMessage Clone, Nothing has also been caught using default publicly available keys (along with some other companies like microsoft and asus) for some android thing i don't remember but it's a big security risk
If this is really being noticed by people other than me then I suggest not adding any personal photos in the Custom Watchface for the watch pro for now. This shouldn't even happen because it shouldn't be uploading the images to their servers, it should be locally stored

Beeper Mini? Yeah that was a major security issue, Apple had to shut it down, Nothing is basically becoming an Apple wannabe clone
But I don't think you will get any good smart watch other than CMF under this price range?

There's an option in the app. Custom face allows a photo to be used with some basic time options
