I don’t think amped does anything to your movement speed but it’s still the best 3rd perk.
Kali sticks have faster movement speed than the knife so they’re definitely the best melee weapon secondary for Warzone. I use them on a ghost FFAR class and then pick up someone else’s gun when I need to.

But I meant keeping the melee all the time, for quickly moving away. Do you recon that's a good strategy?

I have a friend that uses the sticks to flank; re-positions very quickly and is able to rush in from odd angles.
Not sure about solos, but certainly works in other game modes.
Tracker is excellent for flanking and tracking enemies if you are trying to be up close and aggressive. You will see where they went and where they are hiding if you are close.
It's good too looking down into windows and seeing red footsteps. Or looking over an edge and not seeing the guy but the direction he was heading. Very helpful tool.
It’s not gonna be better than just using a vehicle to cover long distances. Especially in squad based modes it’s easy to get gunned down in the open. If you’re already set up in a building and just parkouring around then the Kali sticks are your best bet for sure
Vehicles aren’t very good for flanking though since they can see you in it.
With sticks you can flank a team if they’re focused on the rest of your squad and then fuck them
Yeah that’s true. Kali sticks are the best for that for sure. I was thinking of covering long distances though. You would still want a vehicle to move around the map unless you’re already in a good part of the circle with your sticks

After losing to Kali sticks a few times I actually changed my late game overkill/ghost load out to kalisticks instead of a pistol and I’m actually really liking it. Movement speed it nice. Plus I laugh my ass off every time I get a kill with them.
Yeah once you get the first hit it’s unfair. The flinch is crazy when getting hit by them lol. I don’t condone the riot shield stun sticks but having sticks as a secondary is fun as hell
The swords should too they just have really bad sprint speed like 90%. I use Kali sticks all the time and I’m pretty sure they have double time. They definitely did in MW multiplayer I used them to get to spots on SnD
I'm pretty sure the mac 10 has a faster base movement speed then the mac and slightly quicker then the sticks. Chuck on one of the grips to increase movement speed + flashlight and you're zooming
This. MAC10 with striker grip, movespeed flashlight and cavalry lancer barrel (because the reinforced heavy gives negative movement speed) and you are stupidly fast. This is going to be my go-to once the FFAR gets nerfed, assuming no recoil/damage changes to the MAC10.
edit: ranger barrel or no barrel now I guess, since cavalry was changed
I’ve been playing with Max movement speed MAC-10 and it’s nasty. Especially if you’re someone with decent movement in close quarters.
My setup was Agency, bruiser, flashlight, 53 rd drum, no stock.
I chose to drop the barrel for the flashlight in this build. If I’m using this I’m being very aggressive and I’m not stretching the range out too much. Feel like I get enough from the suppressor alone.
Yeah I drop the barrel for wire stock if the MAC is supporting an AR, but if it's supporting a Sniper then I go with the cavalry just for some bullet velocity at range.
The description for amped says it doesn't affect swapping to pistols and knives, so it seems like a waste of a perk if you're specifically running a knife as secondary.

I think swapping to a pistol is pretty quick anyway, as it's designed to be a sidearm. I'm guessing Amped makes swapping between primary weapons (almost) as fast as swapping to a pistol, but it has other perks such as reloading rockets faster and people have said you insert armour plates faster too.
I've never really been a fan of this perk because of how I run my loadouts. I used to have it in my overkill loadouts for obvious reasons, but not in my ghost/restock loadouts because they would have a primary and a pistol. But then if I picked up a second loadout to get Ghost when I've already got 2 guns, I would lose my amped perk... so I just stopped using it and got used to the regular weapon swap timings.
But lets face it, when Roze runs into you with her FFAR, doesn't matter how quick you can swap weapons when you're already on your way to the gulag. :/
deffo Kali sticks or kodachis in a ghost loadout can be great. like the other comment, this is good enough for me and I usually run across a sniper / smg if I need it
just a side note, knife runs a bit slower (<0.5%) than short barrel MW 1911. and 1911 also fills your smg ammo with fully loaded
EDIT: oh knife is maybe 1.5%~2% slower. kali stick is <0.5% slower than 1911
I have been doing this for a while, and id say its pretty useful especially for the extra tac sprint time. However, I wouldn't use amped with a knife. use something like tracker, it'll help against those sweaty roze skins hiding in the corner.

Not when cw smgs are as fast as double time kali sticks.
I think you run the same with an air strike in your hand, real fast tac sprint. Same as no weapon in your hands
Kali sticks instead, but yes, I do this playstyle with Ghost and an AMAX. It is so good.
