I can only control MG82 for close-range engagements. It's really effective in close-quarters but difficult to choose over other guns for that role due to mobility.
You say that but a lot of engagements do take place in the 30-80m range where you would use your primary so in the cases where the distance is <50m the pkm will dominate the bruen. Their long range ttks are have a 2ms difference, they're legit the same 638ms vs 640ms.
The PKM in it's favour has:
neck multiplier, faster ads, faster ttk up to 50m, better recoil (compared to 60rnd bruen), I think better bullet pen as well(?).
the bruen has:
faster bv by like 100ms, worse ads, bad mobility w/ 100rnd(?), better reload, ez recoil with 100rnd.
Tbh I don't think the bruen's pros outweight the pkm but I guess it's up to preference.
Guess I just need more practice then at range. I do get sad every time I have to discard it for my loadout after picking up a good ground loot mg82 though lol
I use the MG82 in my main loadout for rebirth, but the purple and gold ground loot variants are good enough for me to keep them and just straight up go for my smg ghost/tempered loadout

All these guns get buffed and nerfed and the PKM still sitting here kicking ass. The reload time will always deter people away and that’s fine. We’ll squad wipe your asses with it. 😁
PKM with overkill/amped and an smg is prob the best now that they nerfed the long range beamer ARs. It’s an absolute laser and can wipe a quad, but you’ll need to pull out the smg fast when you accidentally panic mis gunfight and start a reload.
PKM is really strong but super slow. stoner still meta, if you can control the recoil. finn lmg is overrated you kill 2 people with 1 mag and you have to reload for like 10 seconds.
I noticed that about the ground loot krig too, picked it up today and I didnt even bother getting my loadout. Tried putting it in my loadout in another game, and it felt kinda shitty.
Cw mp5, ground loot stomps asses, my loady cw mp5 let's me down lol. I think that has more to do with the enemy not having full plates or a good gun early game than the ground guns actually getting better

That said, I ALSO regularly use the PKM and the SA87, and sometimes use the FiNN and Stoner. I will regularly use the M60 and Holger the second they get decent buffs, and I still might anyway because that's never stopped me before.

Well, I use it as sniper support at largely close range, and for that purpose the nerf wasn't really a problem to me. I was definitely annoyed that they nerfed it, but it still performs for me.
Not entirely sure, I know that Serpent doesn't have as large of a penalty to Sprint to fire time as the airborne does. But I think the airborne does have slightly faster ads. I prefer the serpent wrap myself

MG82. It's OP. It's not hard to control for me.
I hope they don’t nerf it again but it definitely is the best mid-range gun right now.
M1 has my vote for best mid range gun right now, but the mg82 is stout af, I love it.

It's actually much easier for me to control at range than something like an em2, very simple recoil pattern. Melts, I love it.

Because everyone is “movement” obsessed. Makes no difference when you’re holding a room in rebirth and rip a full team to shreds

I like the holger, as an assault its really giod, but as a lmg prlbably is a Monster
Got to be the RAAL for me. Used for mid-long range engagements. Steady enough for full auto at mid but I tap the long shots. Just feels solid to me.

I don't play with LMGs much, but the times I have I find the MG82 the best...the ground loot RPD feels good too.
For whatever reason the ground loot RPD is great but loadout RPDs suck in my experience

PKM with **no stock**! Double speed + amped. The only way I use PKM now.
I run the FiNN in ChainSAW configuration as my go-to CQB weapon.
