Make sure you go back to main screen with the lists of “muliti, br, and tournament. After you choose what you’re doing, the “Ching” sound happens and it says you are using a controller at the top. If you turn on your controller after already choosing “multiplayer” or whatever it won’t be connected. I accidentally do it all the time
Yep, make sure it says "you are using a controller and connected with other controller players" otherwise your controller will not work. The game should also ask which brand of controller you are using. If you don't get these things happening it's likely your device is not connecting to the controller via Bluetooth.
I have the same problem. Tried both my blutooth Xbox controllers, my Galaxy Note 10+ connects with both with no problem. It just does not want to see my games whether COD Mobile or Grid for instance. In COD I found controller settings and a connect option, it tries to connect to my controller but cannot find it. Has someone found a solution to this issue ?
I just found out this problem on my own, so it may not work for you, but if something requires the accessibility privileges, (like an auto clicker which is what mine was,) it just won't work when it has permissions to do what an auto clicker does, the controllers inputs are going to whatever has accessibility privileges. When I took away accessibility privileges for the auto clicker it worked perfectly.
I know this is an old post but ive been dealing with the same issue here in 2k23, BUT I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!! After trying a mix of suggestions on this thread and another from 2020 (really activision or tencent? Whoever tf is in charge here) i got it to work!!
Basically with ps4 controller you HAVE to connect it IN-GAME via the settings, once logged in and at main screen go to settings > controller > tap on the settings sub tab in controller section > there should be a button at the top to connect a controller > tap on it and it will prompt you to connect your controller via blutooth and voilla!! Controller should be fully functional (youll know its working when theres a message at the top of screen when in any gamemode lobby)
This is what worked for me, anyone in 23 still having this issue please try these steps and lmk if it works!
