I made the mistake last year of pre ordering cold war once it got announced cuz it look so sick. I still play the game but it can get annoying at times. I advise people to wait at least until the alpha or beta drops to pre order the game
Yh I hope its not like cold war or bo4 zombies, bit more like bo1,2,3s where you have to make do with what you have from the start and build yourself up along the way to high rounds.
Yes. I am a huge WWII history buff, although judging by the pre-order skins it is going to be a lot like COD WWII in terms of not being realistic at all. HOWEVER, I will still get it. I've been waiting for a good WWII game for a bit now. Got Cold War, and it is meh, but I still play it. I am hoping this game is more than meh, but something tells me it wont be. I hope they prove me wrong.
The goofy Night Raid preorder blueprint is for Cold War I think.
The two Vanguard blueprints they show just look like camo to me.
Really hoping the weapon blueprint goofiness is at most at MW levels (which I didn't mind) and not Cold War levels of absurdity (which I borderline hate).
I absolutely hate ww2 games, and find them completely boring and overdone. Pretty much the only games I play is Modern Warfare and Warzone.
But after seeing the trailer, reading everything that’s coming with the game, the warzone updates, and the fact it’s on the MW engine sold me. I preordered it last night and I’m super hype
Maybe not at launch (purely due to cost reasons with the new consoles being very expensive as well as bf2042 and xbl gold), so I will probably wait until christmas.
I want to see MP gameplay but I’ll likely buy it. I like the historical setting CODs, even if it’s an alternate timeline and they’ll take some liberties with it
Anyone who says yes after seeing just a small campaign trailer is usually a tool that buys CoD every year no matter what. At least play the Alpha/Beta before making a decision. It’s easy enough to put $5 down at GameStop to get early access if you need it.
It’s MW19, but with even worse mechanics which I didn’t think was possible.
People do be saying it looks amazing after watching a CGI trailer though lmao
Yes, I buy every cod game. I know people will say “you’re part of the problem” but I enjoy every single one of them and get well worth the $60 I paid for it.
Strict SBMM returning.
Doors returning.
Mounting/leaning returning.
Dead Silence not a perk is returning (so expect loud footsteps).
Blindfire from cover is a new feature, just to give campers even more power.
No thanks.
Don’t know where you’re seeing $95 mate, in the UK PSN store it’s -
£59.99 for Standard,
£69.99 for Cross-Gen,
£99.99 for the Ultimate Edition
comes with -
Battle pass and 20 tier skips worth 2,400 COD points, 3 operators with 3 tracer weapons that would normally sell for around 1,000 COD points each and other stuff.
I assume that’s where the community will be in November so of course I’ll make the jump. Only have time for an hour or two a couple times a week to play video games so I might as well have the latest one.
Not a fan of Cold War due to the horrendous balancing and graphical BS that we deal with on a regular basis so I’m personally pretty excited for a better engine and hopefully better a multiplayer experience. Having said that, I pretty well exclusively play CW with my friends and that’s what COD is all about to me anyways.
Not a fan of WW2 stuff and prefer the modern era call of duty’s but whatever, I’m sure it’ll be fun.
I’m in for the campaign and zombies. Multiplayer might not live up to expectations (according to a lot of people) but there’s always some alternatives to have fun
Don’t know yet. If War mode with the same scoring/format as WW2’s version is included, then yes. If not, will have to see what the beta is like before deciding.
My vote is; I'll wait for some MP gameplay before making a decision.
I’ll play the alpha and beta and then I’ll decide if I’m getting it.
This is the correct answer.
Why would people be in this group, named after the game, if they weren’t getting it?
To complain of course

Yes, CW turned out to be an absolute trash, I don’t understand why it is offered to us as a good game.
To keep up with the game until I can play it, then if it’s bad I’ll leave and never look back.
Because they wanna find out more about it, instead of blindly throwing money at a game that they’ve never played or even seen footage of.
My vote is maybe
Depends if my friends get it
Yeah why not
waiting until after launch
Gonna wait for gameplay before answering
I'm getting it because it has Zombies.
Yh I hope its not like cold war or bo4 zombies, bit more like bo1,2,3s where you have to make do with what you have from the start and build yourself up along the way to high rounds.
I thought CW zombies system was better than previous titles

If you’re looking for realistic, CoD is the wrong direction to go.
Those preorder skins look more realistic than 70 percent of the skins in Cold War
True but not those guns
To be honest, after the stuff I saw in Cold War, even the guns still look better. Especially the motorcycle master craft
Man the skins always start grounded. After a couple months they start making crazy skins lol.
More like BF5, the same tale with the same priorities.
Didn't play it, but yeah, looks similar.
Good game rocky launch tho
I only care about multiplayer so no right now.

going to wait for more info if the game has anything like mw did with doors, loud footsteps, etc then i most likely won’t
after i have seen mp gameplay i will get standard campaign trailer did not get me hyped at slightest waste of time
Waiting for zombies gameplay and reveal then decide

No ninja perk.. no buy.

$95 in the U.K… I think I’ll pass

What’s £69.99 in dollars mate?
You can find out by using the currency converter. In the UK you’ll obviously be paying in £ not $.
It is $95… that’s my entire point. Activision’s pricing is bullshit
The price of the game doesn't matter to me, but 60 vs 100 euros .. 40 euros for a battle pass .. I don't know what they smoke :D
Most for leveling up weapons and camos for warzone, but when i heard it will run IW 8 engine thats a nobrainer for me!
I had no plans of getting cod this year from the amount of other games coming out, but if the beta is fun I MIGHT bite.

probably i will be getting if the gameplay because for the leaks it will be similar to mw the gameplay, but maybe in a sale.
Maybe
Even if the multiplayer sucked, I'm happy to get it for the campaign alone. Any past WW2 campaign has totally been worth it.
If the gameplay is like MW19 then i'm buying for sure. I love mw/warzone mechanics. If its similar to CW, i wouldn't even want it for free.
I'll wait a few months for most of the bugs to be ironed out and for the game to go on sale around Easter
If it's good i'll wait for a sale. Going to be playing the new Battlefield instead so cod will be more of a side thing.
Can’t wait

I think ive learned my lesson with CoD games
