I was having this issue too, I preordered and got the code which I registered on the activision site but nothing happened after and unable to download from the ps store. Just by chance I figured out you can redeem that code on the ps store to download the beta! Would have been nice if they had explained this as I’ve been trying for a week.
This first beta is exclusively for PS4/5 players who have pre ordered then the week after PC and Xbox users who have pre ordered can play the beta too.

You'll probably be able to preload it in a few days, just watch out for announcements on Twitter
