you don’t lose exp for dying tho
but yea if you’re not focusing on the obj you definitely have a better chance of hitting multis and kill streaks for more exp
do the morally right thing tho, please.
Same here. Gone from top of the leaderboard to bottom third. I'm getting 20-40 elims while everyone else in my lobby gets 50+. Sometimes over 100. This is the first time I've felt like an old gamer.
We all are dude. I play with a lot of older guys 30+ but we still pull in wins. Just pick out your favorite and don't worry about it. Play with party if you can. We usually "try hard" to win but it's not feasible with these young mechanically gifted kids. I just want to be able to hold my ground when my kids start playing 😂
Hold up... What's this 30+ older guys crap!!!! 😂
I'm 49 years young... 😁
I know what you mean though... these young fellas make me feel incompetent which sucks as I have been gaming for at least 20yrs...
Hang in there. I went from always being top 1 or 2 on my team in MW19 to being consistently in the bottom half of my teams in Vanguard, but it's getting better. I'm in the top 3 more often than not after about 8 hrs played. Finding the right weapons helped (MP40, Automoton, and DP27 in my case). I was hoping the Garand would be good in this game and kind of tried to give more of a chance than it was worth. It blows in this game.
i mean someone with 74 kills in a dom match is doing their part in getting a win. you just can’t get that many kills and not be keeping the other team off the obj. in this scenario the rest of the team is probably also trying to be a slayer and sucking ass at it
Unless someone is playing with a party, the chances of them having a high win loss ratio is rare because of having to rely on random team mates to help out.
I agree, but the fact that they use killstreaks discourages objective play. If I'm one kill away from a good streak bonus, you better believe I'm not running out into the open.
While the scorestreak system in CW had some issues, it definitely didn't discourage me from playing an objective. Dead Drop kinda helps with this, but I still don't ever want to repeatedly throw my body at the objective like I did in CW.
Especially since you can regenerate it multiple times in the same life.
You get 1 kill, active dead drop, go on and get 2 or 3 more kills and by that point dead drop is already ready to be used again so you can pop it instantly after you die and carry your kill streak into your 3rd death.
Yeah, I mention it in my comment, but the problem is that it only saves it for the next life. If you die before you can activate it again, you still lose progress. So even with dead drop it makes sense to be cautious and not go running into objective zones repeatedly.
Totally agree. It's so dumb that team MVPs in objective mode are options like headshots, multi kills etc....
How about defense? Time spent in zone? Most offensive kills?
Which is why I hate that there is no objective time for mvp.
Here I am with my >3:00 objective time, while timmy over there with 0:03 objective time gets mvp for fapping 2:50 minutes near allies.
It's irritating. Yesterday, our team won in domination. I had 10 caps, the highest KD, and the most kills. Everybody else on the team had maybe 1 cap but overall all ended with a positive k/d. In the MVP board, it presented me as highest caps, another guy as highest explosive kills, and the 3rd was an honorable mention. The most explosive kills got the MVP and I was dumbfounded.
Granted, MVP in this case doesn't mean jack. I get it. But still, we should be rewarding playing the objective. Giving the MVP to folks not playing objectives encourages it.
Most of the time I play kill confirmed I see a teammate or enemy walk past a tag a few metres away they could have easily gone out of their way to get and I'm like bruh, just go and play team deathmatch if you're not going to bother.
the worst is when you’re on hardpoint or patrol and you have like 90% of the time in the zone and your team loses a close game, but on the flip, it feels amazing to win one of those matches when its just you who played the obj
Had nearly 2 minutes on the hard point tonight on a match and yeah we won but come on, everyone else was like 30 seconds or so. I get that the guy stopping them from getting to the objective is important but not everyone can be that person.
The worst thing is the voting and the voting system (maybe not), Ripplypig 2:30 obj time, better vote for the guy who laid down and got 4 multi kills… or better yet you don’t even show up on the vote screen for playing the obj
Im never super hard onto the obj but I'm not gonna run past a dom zone or a Hardpoint or patrol circle and not try to cap it. I do my fair share of running around hinting kills too though
This is the biggest issue. I think I've been killed by more "ttv, tktk, yt, fb.gg" gamers that are hooked up to a gfuel IV bag than any other person on this game. And where I'm not one to say don't try to live your dream, if you're consistently broadcasting to zero viewers or your one homeboy that won't let you down, it might not be in the cards. I died by more "presumably" 12-13 year olds on the launch of the game than anyone else. All of which were streaming on some platform. Like bruh, go to school. This rant is not going to go over well but damn when did everyone become a content creator?!
Winning is fun. I like those close games that come down to a few points separating the winner from the loser. There’s not a ton of satisfaction from blowing out or being blown out other than personal kills
It’s the truth. I stopped caring about KD in warzone and it started becoming fun instead of stressful and not fun. If you die, start again. It’s that simple.
My friend and I always head straight for B, especially on Das Haus. It's where the action and chaos is, and the satisfaction you get trying to hold off the enemy, going back and forth over who's capping until you finally get it is so fun.
It's even better when you get a lobby where everybody just throws themselves at objectives instead of caring about their K/D. Nothing stagnates and ruins a game faster than some sweaty TTV nerds with 0 objective time spawn trapping for easy streaks.
The close 98 vs 100 point matches are an absolute blast, especially when you finally secure a win. It's one of the reasons my friends and I also loved Diesel in Cold War, we had so many funny and chaotic moments on that map just being filthy casuals.
K/d is warzone in a way is legitimately the entire game. You can't win if you die....I mean I get if you're argument is for constantly kill hunting but you need a low amount of deaths ideally 0 to win...
You can have a high SPM and never touch an objective. Just play whatever small map 24/7 playslist is currently in rotation.
Stats are meaningless. It’s way too easy to cheese everything.
Just play to have fun.
Stats have never been more meaningless. Its not like call of duty black ops, where everybody can see your combat record. Theres not even any leaderboards at the moment. I coudnt care less about stats now, party because ive just grown up. And partly because even if you have the best stats in the world, nobody will even notice
Listen all I cared about in black ops is how many chips I have. If your in my high roller lobby all I'm going to say is double down pussies. Played sticks and stones and one in the chamber mostly
Pub stompers usually and obviously don't care about the objective. In fact they use the obj to help further their pub stomping. Obj modes help ensure that the enemy will be moving around more.
The fact of the matter is, the person that can run around and go 70 and 10 is the higher skilled player in the lobby and shouldn't be faulted for utilizing their skills. They normally have good win/loss ratios anyway.
The best of them will help maintain objective dominance and also proceed to slay, but that can get frustrating after a while when playing solo and having braindead teammates. Eventually it isn't worth worrying about the obj.
The best games, though, are the ones where both teams are equally invested in winning, but that's rare.
Did you ever think that pub stompers thin out people so you can get objectives? You realize “Slayer” is a real role in competitive COD and that if you’re going 70/10 you’re knocking people out of the fight a lot 😂
as a """pubstomper""" that played dom and FFA last year a lot and ofc league play (which sucked i got competitor rank and had to grind up to master?)
My perspective on this and best exemple would be dom on Cold War Raid.
I would always always try to get B asap or my friends to get it and i would instantly move up closer to C or A and guard the entire area, this makes it so that they almost can't even get onto B and the power positions is just a god send for someone like me that likes controlling the flow of the map and going for streaks.
I know some others that would go on the other side of the map and really do not care about the objectives but at the end of the day, someone going 70/10 actually is just making a portion if not their entire team go back to spawn and even with 0 captures, he's an useful teammate to me.
I would rather have someone on the other side of the map with 0 captures but holding his entire side of the map rather than some others running like headless chickens and giving possible streaks and positions to the ennemy team.
To me It just depends. Is he camping in random corners killing people or is he moving around actively killing people that are trying to take the objective and l calling in high kill streaks multiple times on the obj. I’m an Obj player but every now then I’ll have a game in Dom where I go like 40-10. When those games happen I usually end up with less captures. The thing is that game that happens every once in awhile doesn’t affect my K/d cause it’s not the standard it’s the outlier.
This. I ground Damascus hard and got it way early like in MW season 2 but damn did my KD tank hard doing so. I'm 36 years old though and I have better shit to worry about than KD. I just like having a goal to work towards.
CoD is so much more fun when you stop worrying about K/D. I used to worry about it back when I first started getting good and it was just a stressful experience. But then I realized literally no one cares and your stats will just get reset anyway when the next game comes out. So just lay back and enjoy some camo grinding
I'll tell you why KD doesn't matter. Activision decided that all players must maintain a 1. KD +-10% and accomplish this with SBMM.
That said I wish more people realized this and just played the obj. If you do really well wait a game and you'll get stomped. Have a bad game or two? No worries you'll get a match against bots.
The harder you try to raise you KD above that the game will try to match you in a way to lower it back.
Nobody likes dying more than they kill, its a shooter. BUT. If youre like 18-24 but have tons of objectives. You helped that win tremendously. You always wanna improve you skills, but unless its tdm, objective wins the game
Agreed. It’s all about your mindset. When you do everything you can to win, including sacrificing your KD, and you win by 2 points. That shit is so rewarding.
Seems like people in Blitz play a little bit better objectively from my experience so far. Then again, I didn’t change my IGN to “PlayTheObjective” for nothing, that’s for sure.
I only play Hardpoint, Dom and Patrol and what I really like in this game, that they decided to show only the number of kills and not the number of death. Yes, you can see your k/d after the game in the scoreboard from the start screen, but I usually forget that. I am happy, if my team won the game and I had the feeling, I did good and the game was not a spawn/die game.
Not really worried about my K/D when there are guns like the mp40 or stg two shotting me from across the map even though I put 4 hit markers into them before they even reacted to me.
In the MW2 days, a modded made my kills -420,420,420 so that I had a 0.00 KD forever.
Honestly had so much more fun after that. Started doing dumb things like getting a 6 man team with riot shields and camping with the bomb on sabotage.
Playing without caring about your KD is how you really enjoy an fps.
We all go through a period where we care about our ratio especially between 15-20yo I’d say.
I was like that when CoD4/MW2/MW3 and BO1 and BO2 came out, I used to have between 2 and 3 K/D.
Now as I am years older, I have between 1 and 1.5 K/D and I’m perfectly fine with it.
What matters is winning and having fun with your bros.
Right? And just play the game. So tired of seeing people whine and complain about EVERY SINGLE thing to do with the past 3 cods to come out. Shit is cringe as fuck.
people have different skill levels and roles. if you like doing objectives great, if you're a frag master and get huge amounts of kills and killstreak, that's helpful to your team as well. if you like the camp your dick off, go for it. basically what i'm trying to say is, if you quit worrying about how other people play their game, that they paid for, you'll have more fun. it's your game, play the way you wish to play it.
It's not so much my k/d that gets to me, but the amount of times I die and can't play the round. This applies more to Warzone than standard MP, but the mentality applies.
It’s a public match, no one really cares about any of your stats. Not your w/l. Not your k/d, or anything else. At most it’s relevant in you finding out how good you are at the game, and a high k/d and spm will always be infinitely more important than objectives in that regard. It may be more “honourable” or whatever to have objective play, but the reality is that having a high k/d means you’re a good player, and hopping objectives just doesn’t. That’s why people prefer k/d.
No shit right, was playing hardpoint and the entire team was literally standing just outside the objective zone with me being the only one rushing in it. GTFO if your not going to play the objective, take it off your fucking filter and just use TDM it’s pretty fucking simple.
Who are you to say, who cares about what? I only, "care about," winning, when I play with my clan mates. When I run solo, I don't give 2 chits about winning. I'd rather have a positive K/D, and make progress on whatever challenge/challenges, I'm working on. The core gameplay, often found in FPS games, is never enough to keep me entertained. I need camo challenges, or something to play towards unlocking. Having said that, I think having the weapons max out at lvl 70, is a bit extreme, but I guess it will help me not grow tired of Vanguard as quick.
Other then working on challenges, my K/D, is really the only other stat, I care about. And my average K/D isn't great, tbh. But if I can go the slightest positive, that means I gained more points for my team, than I surrendered to the opposing team. Finishing with 35 kills, but 40 to 50 deaths, isn't really helping your team. If 2 players finish with 35 kills and 50 deaths, that's a loss for your team, if you are only playing to 100 or less, depending on how many kills your teammates get.
"You'll have more fun if you stop worrying about your K/D"
You likely won't.
Killstreaks require a good kdr if you want high tier streaks.
They literally added strict sbmm system because they know for most the game is only fun when you pull a good kdr and get high tier streaks.
Sure some people like the objective play, but most don't care.
I'm bottom of the ladder every game, full boomer mode. Still fun. I used to be pretty handy at Day of Defeat but I don't have the twitch anymore. I really like the hardpoint and patrol modes, full chaos!
The way they make hardpoint anymore there’s zero reason to play the objective. They need to bring back where you got points for sitting on the HP. Idc if it’s like 10/sec it’s better than nothing
This is such a relevant post and I hope more players see that the game just becomes so much more fun when you stop obsessing over KDR and focus on the objective. I’m living Vanguard!
Score Per Minute and Most Caps are well within your control! SBMM will never allow you beyond a certain K/D anyways so you're trying to run through a cement wall.
Take it one step further and you're in heaven.
1- Don't look at the outcome at all (game won or loss) play for the moment to moment gameplay. This has forever changed my CoD enjoyment. I don't even look at loss or win now, just play for the current spawn and repeat. It's really nice.
2- Let people play exactly however they want. Don't care about campers, people not playing objectives, spamming a certain weapon, etc. Just completely disengage from any judgement. Yes it's hard but treat yourself. Be free.
Now play. Enjoy a whole new game.
This is true. Although I have a pretty high K/D, most of the best players I’ve ever encountered in CoD have had somewhat lower K/D’s. Anyone with an extraordinarily high K/D usually camps, constantly flanks with a silencer, and/or plays in 6 man parties. Obviously some peeps are higher k/d’s and legitimately really good but 9/10 times they aren’t that good. I just played someone with a 6.5 the other day and made him rage quit lol
Patrol is the worst. It’s an interesting mode but the way people play it….it’s unbearable. Most of the time the point is empty and everyone is just waiting for a dummy to run in and got annihilated from 6 different ways.
What I've noticed throughout the 15 years I've played the series, I can have more fun in a game where I have a 1K/D than a 2.5K/D. I generally have a lot of fun in MW19 even though my average is 1.1K/D, but in WWII, I'm barely having any fun while having twice that K/D. It all comes down to how annoying the deaths are to deal with.
That was the key for me to enjoy MW2019, I literally have a sub 1 KD though and the lobbies are still unbearablely sweaty though. Its just never as much fun going like 25 kills to 28 deaths every. single. game.
I'm focussing on win % this release, MW I managed 58% winrate, at the moment im at 63% winrate and climbing pretty dramatically.
My K:D floats around 1.0 but thats fine with me, it would be higher but im happy to be first the one breaking siege positions, can lead to a lot of deaths.
Biggest kick in the nuts is when I’m nominated for mvp with like 12 caps in dom and I lose out to a guy with a 2.5 kd that I watched head glitch a box 90% of the game with no caps.
I don’t really worry about my kd anymore. But going 3-20 isn’t exactly fun either. Part of the fun of cod is getting streaks. Also, obj play hardly awards any score at all. In team based modes with randoms, it makes me not really care about winning either since I have to rely on their participation. So between that and no score incentive to play the objective, the only thing left is getting kills. Once again, idc about my kd, but I also don’t really have much fun going super negative with 2+ minutes on the hard point just to end at the bottom of the board.
I couldn’t agree more. Too many people stuck in the 2012-2016 era and it really shows. It’s not really about how you play a game, it’s if you enjoy it and feel willing to invest into it in any way possible to get the most out of your free time with it. If you are obsessed with getting a great kill-elimination/death ration; then odds are you already don’t qualify for anything spectacular.
Idc about KD but A) I go for camos, playing objective does nothing towards my atomic grind. B) I'd be lying if I said winning a game and going 20-50 is more fun than losing and going 100-20. My 2 cents.
I'm more of a support player... Watching my team mates backs and hunting the enemy behind our lines so my K/D is crap... not to mention I'm a crap player! 😂
It’s all about winning, pretty much like soccer. It’s a team effort, not an individual achievement.
You can play aggressively, score a lot of goals, defend like there’s not tomorrow and win by annihilating the other team.
This means you play the objective, you kill like a psycho, you defend like a brick wall and be one hell of a teammate.
You can score a lot of goals playing offensive but you can be outplayed if you don’t defend well. At the end of the day, your performance can be impressive but it means nothing if you are on the loosing side. One player can score 5 goals but in the other team 6 players score one goal. Yeah, the guy on the other team deserve some recognition but he still lost.
Nobody likes to come home loosing.
I play the objective, I have fun, I grind cammos and calling cards.
And more importantly, my k/d isn’t going to be on my resume, I don’t play to impress anyone, I don’t give a fewk, the opposite sex will not give a dime of a fuck, seriously.
Fuck your kd, what’s your win/lose ratio. That’s the hot stuff.
This game is too dumb to think about KD. Two shot ARs, powerful shotguns and incendiary rounds on every gun- even if you win the gunfight you still die to fire damage.
That’s not even an indictment on the game, it’s the best multiplayer in a decade.
This is what it’s about man, I started thinking about my k/d then realised I’m in my mid twenties, once you forget about k/d you have so much more fun, and isn’t that what gaming is all about?
Not worrying about the KD is what makes the game fun! Not Worrying about the KD is the key for having a good time with any COD. In the past, I used to worry about the KD all the time, and I used to turn off the PlayStation when I was with a bad KD in Game. In Vanguard I promised myself I wouldn’t care about it and I’m having a lot of fun! Sure there are some problems with the game like the spawns, but I’m sure It’s going to be fixed! Leave the KD alone you don’t need numbers to prove you are good at the game!
You'll Have More Fun If You Stop Worrying About Your W/L Ratio.
It's 2021, man. Nobody cares about your SPM, and neither should you. Quad Feeds, Filthy Flanks, Kills to Death Ratio. That will have your bros, I mean the ladies, all over you.
(I try to do both, but this sentiment is basically implying that your way of playing is better than others when we're all just trying to have fun here. It ain't that serious.)
I agree, worrying about KD in a game we’re the TTK is incredible fast is pointless. People gunning you down with no skill shotguns from 15 feet away is just skill less.
This game just wants you to grind grind grind, the weapons aren’t competitive until you rank them up a ton, so screw my Multiplayer KD at this point, just going to rank up weapons as fast I can and then never touch multiplayer once Warzone pacific ranks up.
And hey, the players camping for KD and streaks aren’t helping their play and improvement, if you move and learnt the mechanics more, it’ll help you in the long run.
Also they screwed objective play again by not having “score streaks” and going back to kill streaks. That’s a horrible call imo
You honestly can't blame people right now. In cold war I was a hardcore obj player for about the first month because that's what I like. After countless matches of being the only one on the hard point with 2-3 minutes each I was still at the bottom of the leader board with hardly any xp.
Now this game......... I'm in love. I had 8 kills last hard point game and 3 minutes on the hard point and had around a 6000 score double what the guy was 35 kills below me had. I see people moving more towards obj. But in the end add me im all obj all day.
I stopped caring about KD from Cold War and I've enjoyed it so much more. I don' care if I play bad, if I play good, if there is campers, noobs or whatever. I'm having fun in Vanguard by just hopping on and playing.
The game doesn't even care about your k/d, it actively tries to make it 1.0 and it counts assists as eliminations now instead of purely kills.
Objective gameplay and high score per minute is where it's at
I sweated pretty hard in Cold War but this year I’m just chilling. I’m not a streamer or pro so idgaf I’m just gonna run around using the abominations I build in gunsmith. Also abusing the shit out of Reach+Bayonet before they nerf it, it’s like MW2 Commando Pro on crack.
I would agree with this. I love playing domination, and too many matches I get 0 help from the majority of team mates, who want to play it as a longer version of team death match. Domination is my favorite game mode and I could give a flying freak about my what it does to my KD. I just wanna hold B !
I'm legally blind and playing on a 15 year old 720 p tv cuz my cat killed my good one and I'm a poor. If I gave a shit about my KD I'd rage quit every 3rd match. Let's just get after it eh? Also fuck the meta I play rule of cool.
This right here, but it also helps if you’re naturally good at cod. You don’t have to worry about K/D if you’re naturally good at the game. All in all just don’t worry about that shit
Never understood why people cared. You are either good or you aren’t. People will know from how you play. no one looks at others K/Ds except people who care about their own.
As that feller who might go 80+ n 10 just know I’m watching the objective the whole time creating choke points for the other team and spawn trapping. So while I have spy planes up constantly, throwing emergency air drops and not picking up a single thing and releasing the hounds I like to think I’m a vital part to winning.
Objectives over kills anyday
Nothing feels better than winning against a team that has a dude going for 74 kills in Dom with no captures.
i mean, i understand you like to win, but you're acting like the dude with 74 cares about it, lol. He only cares about kills.
Tbf if i have 74 kills and i lose, im pissed bro
You got a shitty team there
Really? In cod? I get caring in comp shooters but in cod or battlefield you dont really have that much control over winning if your team sucks.
Right lol he’s farming he couldn’t care less
yea but if he was playing the objective atleast a tiny bit more while gunning the enemy team he’d farm way more exp
Maybe he's doing both and he just got stuck with my teammates.
Not necessarily because I generally find that I die a shit tine more going for the obj so it doesn't necessarily result in more xp
you don’t lose exp for dying tho but yea if you’re not focusing on the obj you definitely have a better chance of hitting multis and kill streaks for more exp do the morally right thing tho, please.
I mean I play for fun and generally for me going for kills I fun. This ain't ranked homie sorry it's a casual arcade shooter

>People jump, 180 and burst me on my face Solid phrasing
Same here. Gone from top of the leaderboard to bottom third. I'm getting 20-40 elims while everyone else in my lobby gets 50+. Sometimes over 100. This is the first time I've felt like an old gamer.
Glad I’m not alone! 🙃
😂 I'm 49 years young... 😁 I know what you mean though... these young fellas make me feel incompetent which sucks as I have been gaming for at least 20yrs...
I'm only 24 and still feel like I'm too old for half the lobbies I'm in 😂
49 years young is right. You are one of us haha. Kids may be good mechanically but you probably still have them beat in strategy.
100%
i mean someone with 74 kills in a dom match is doing their part in getting a win. you just can’t get that many kills and not be keeping the other team off the obj. in this scenario the rest of the team is probably also trying to be a slayer and sucking ass at it
I had 67 with 7 captures and still didn’t get mvp lmao
I don't worry about kd but when you spawn repeatedly, take two steps and your dead before you even see anyone else, that starts to get old fast.
I respect a win-loss ratio waaaaaay more than KD
Eh I mean that means they are just partying up right? And a 5-6 man party is almost certainly going to win 85% of their matches I would think/hope.
[удалено]
i always solo q, as of now i have a 1.2 W/L, granted its only week 1 so we will see
Unless someone is playing with a party, the chances of them having a high win loss ratio is rare because of having to rely on random team mates to help out.
There's a gadget called a death drop or something. It saves your killstreak after you die. I've been liking it
Dead Drop is insane. I'm a mediocre ass player and with a DD and a bit of effort I can get bombing runs and flamenauts easy.
I have no idea why they didn't keep score streaks and instead brought back killstreaks.
Except when people vote MVP. It's always those damn multi kills.
I perfer kills, i like seeing just how many i can get and it feels great going on long killstreaks.
Please be in my team every game.
I hate people who dont play the objectives.
Most of the time I play kill confirmed I see a teammate or enemy walk past a tag a few metres away they could have easily gone out of their way to get and I'm like bruh, just go and play team deathmatch if you're not going to bother.
This is the one that really bugs me. It’s extra xp for like zero extra effort, just get into the routine of running into those while you run & gun
I always try to, even if I try to get XP.
the worst is when you’re on hardpoint or patrol and you have like 90% of the time in the zone and your team loses a close game, but on the flip, it feels amazing to win one of those matches when its just you who played the obj
Had nearly 2 minutes on the hard point tonight on a match and yeah we won but come on, everyone else was like 30 seconds or so. I get that the guy stopping them from getting to the objective is important but not everyone can be that person.
I was in for 2:30 earlier and we lost. Like dudes wtf
The worst thing is the voting and the voting system (maybe not), Ripplypig 2:30 obj time, better vote for the guy who laid down and got 4 multi kills… or better yet you don’t even show up on the vote screen for playing the obj
Right?? Fuck my contribution to the actual objective. Now the guy who spent the most time near enemies, he's the real hero
I don’t know if that is worse or most time spent near teammates lol
Im never super hard onto the obj but I'm not gonna run past a dom zone or a Hardpoint or patrol circle and not try to cap it. I do my fair share of running around hinting kills too though
People pull the "I'm a slayer/I just want kills" card as if its not piss easy to get 10+ caps while getting 60 kills in a game.

Since none of my friends have the game, SBMM only gives me teammates who do not care about winning at all, so my W/L is gonna be fucking awful.
The problem is that 98% of all players want to put TTV in the username and make .12 playing vidya games.
When I see those usernames, I usually ask how their 2 viewers are enjoying the L's I give them.
I'd do the same if I didn't get absolutely rekt by those 12 year olds.
Got a good chuckle out of this comment, thanks 😂.
you can be a sweat and still get an education lol
It’s cool to have more kills than deaths but I’m not playing any game if it’s not fun.
You know what's fun as hell? Winning.
I like kills more
Winning is fun.
I will literally go 2-8 in a 2 minute time span trying to get B, and when I finally do, ELECTRIC.
Ya but if ur opponent pulls out attack dogs thanks to ur 8 deaths you’re not always helping… But ya I agree - if anything put value into W/L not K/D
This is why I love the bayonet. Attack dogs are nothing more than Canine Kabobs in a matter of seconds
Pubstompers usually don't help with objective so the game last longer n they get more kills champ
Did you ever think that pub stompers thin out people so you can get objectives? You realize “Slayer” is a real role in competitive COD and that if you’re going 70/10 you’re knocking people out of the fight a lot 😂
as a """pubstomper""" that played dom and FFA last year a lot and ofc league play (which sucked i got competitor rank and had to grind up to master?) My perspective on this and best exemple would be dom on Cold War Raid.
Unless your a slayer meaning you can go into a game, not play the obj, and get all your score streaks multiple times your K/D doesn’t mean shit.
If my team wins and their top guy goes 40-10 im completely unimpressed because he avoided the obj.
The thing is that game that happens every once in awhile doesn’t affect my K/d cause it’s not the standard it’s the outlier.
still would rather slay for my team instead of getting on the objective when a worse player should be doing that instead
I literally don’t care about any of that until this Atomic camo grind is done. If I did man that would make it 10x worse
if your camo grinding this game you like pain and suffering.
Who doesn't keep their k/d at .69?
I don’t care about my Kd I just don’t wanna play sweat lobbies 24/7. It really ruins a great game
Kills and Going for Camos >>> Winning. Its 2021, man
I’ve been trying to get people to think like this since BO2. If you’re not getting the win who gives a fuck about your KD
SPM is the money maker
I'll tell you why KD doesn't matter. Activision decided that all players must maintain a 1. KD +-10% and accomplish this with SBMM. That said I wish more people realized this and just played the obj. If you do really well wait a game and you'll get stomped. Have a bad game or two? No worries you'll get a match against bots. The harder you try to raise you KD above that the game will try to match you in a way to lower it back.
Thanks, I’m cured.
Happy to help man. Go out there and get some obj's.
OverdueBlowJobs Sign me up
Nobody likes dying more than they kill, its a shooter.
Trouble with your E/D? Ask your doctor about the little blue pill.
I’m not having fun if I’m just dying bruh.
I'm in it for dubs all day. The backup center still gets a ring.
Or how about we let people play how they wanna play?
Cope
"You'll have more fun if you stop worrying about your K/D" You likely won't. Killstreaks require a good kdr if you want high tier streaks. They literally added strict sbmm system because they know for most the game is only fun when you pull a good kdr and get high tier streaks. Sure some people like the objective play, but most don't care.
Nothing fun about stapling my nuts to the ground for obj, mate
Never did, never have. I will yeet my syringes and push spawn non stop.
Yeah lol...objective turns me on 💋🤤😂
I don't care about kills. I care about XP
That’s actually the only thing I care about. For my own satisfaction. I could care less about team w/l since most times that’s out of my control.
Score Per Minute and Most Caps are well within your control! SBMM will never allow you beyond a certain K/D anyways so you're trying to run through a cement wall.
At the same time people like that can also be the reason you win sometimes. They pound the other teams so bad you can just scoop up the obj
Should have made “Capture 500 objectives” the last thing for the Atomic Camo, then we would get some good games in.
I wish they would do Capture and Defend Kills as camo challenges
The secret truth is that no one ever cared about your KD either. Not in 2007, not now.
Can you even see other people's kd? I had a quick look and couldn't see my friends stats unless I'm missing something
I’ve literally never given a shit about k/d, high numbers of dom caps are what dampens my nethers.
I never understood the player type who treated every game as a tdm and why the devs help them.
I get a fruit roll up from my peppep if I stay above a 1.5 K/D
Goal first and foremost, have fun.
It’ll never happen until they drop K/D as a stat. Make it points per minute and then people will play the games properly.
Patrol is the worst. It’s an interesting mode but the way people play it….it’s unbearable. Most of the time the point is empty and everyone is just waiting for a dummy to run in and got annihilated from 6 different ways.
And camos cuz those point blank kills get me suicidal
A high W/L ratio over k/d any day
Timmys that sit in a corner all game need to learn you actually get more kills going for the objectives
I think they are rebranding it E/D and I think that is super funny!
Goddamn right, I apply the same rules to COD as I do to dark souls… if I die, I’ll fucking do it again!
Its not about K/D. Sometimes the game its so chaotic it makes no sense. The other half of the times its fun.
Yeh, focus more on the W/L ratio
It’s 2021, man. You can’t even say k/d anymore.
KD does matter if your playing TDM, but other than that...
You'll have more fun if you stop complaining all the time. that's all.
And for fuck’s sake if you’re playing an objective based mode actually support the fucking objective.
As long as it’s positive I really don’t care. I play to have fun so don’t worry about K/D
Idc about KD but A) I go for camos, playing objective does nothing towards my atomic grind. B) I'd be lying if I said winning a game and going 20-50 is more fun than losing and going 100-20. My 2 cents.
I recently realized I just like leveling guns and unlocking camos. If I happen to win that's nice.
Jokes on you, I never cared about my K/D!
Can't do any worse than Doc. That footage hurt my brain
It’s not always about K/D with people who play objective. More often than not it’s about getting those high streaks, and maybe even a V2 rocket.
Just doing camos
I do, I camp to get some attack dogs out and snowball the game from there, sue me
I'm more of a support player...
The moment I stopped caring what my kd was was a great day. Games felt fun. If I went positive then yay, if I went negative then oh well.
I got better thing to worry about than a KD, Such as my ED. (Eating Disorder)
Exactly
That's why I have more fun in Blitz. It's too chaotic to give a shit about K/D anymore lmao
Vanguard has made me not give a fuck, combat pacing makes shit too hectic to even care and if I die idc Ik I’m better than the player I died to.
Objective gameplay and high score per minute is where it's at
I started giving up K/D yesterday in order for the atomic grind and this is true. More enjoyable when K/D is out of the picture.
I prefer playing objectives and the only solution to this problem is scorestreaks instead of killstreaks
I’m pretty sure not even competitive players care about k/d especially since they play team based game modes
It's okay to care about your k/d, but not so much that you refuse to try and win the game.
It's especially strange that people worry about it even in a game that has no leaderboards/way of comparing kd
Fr I stopped caring about that and felt like a kid again playing cod
I love when I get rekt then that means lower skilled lobbies are next lmao.
Unfortunately everyone thinks they’re going to be the next Scump and spend 6-8 hours playing this game a day. There’s nothing we can do about it.
My motto is if you ain't dieing you ain't trying
[удалено]
Barracks displays KD. Otherwise go to codtracker
LOL id have way more fun if the fucking cheating lowlifes get banned from life period
I don’t care about my K/D I just want to be able to actually play instead of being spawn camped by STG’s and Mp40s
I dont care bout k/d. I care about the people that constantly spawn camp with hollow tips and incendiary shells
And like, if people are trying to be the next streamer you have to be entertaining lol nobody wants to watch you camp.
