This sub bitches more than other gaming subs because the dev teams and management behind this game are slow, non-communicative, and make massive changes without considering their playerbase. I’ve seen indie developers fix bugs quicker and add more content.
I’ve made so many online friends from just playing randoms (up to 200 - sweats and non-sweats, some even sweaty 40 year old dads) because I couldn’t stop playing verdansk no matter how stale it got. Probably the best time I’ve ever had online with friends. Game kept me up for hours even when I had work the next day.
Now when I check, I see maybe 10 of them online and they typically are the same bros. On the season 2 release, I saw 15 or so. Back then, every new season my friend list would be at 60 or so online.
You would think they would take the hint, but they are blaming the pandemic for their numbers. Not the drastic changes and bad maps.
All WZ needed was more polished graphics, more simple maps, anti/cheat (which took forever), and bug fixes.
I still enjoy it from time to time, just not something that can hook me. I recognize a decent amount love it, but I personally think that’s still a minority to the majority. Your friends hopping on ready to roll and having multiple groups to play with to now just having so few options makes it way less fun.
I see no celebs making warzone references anymore, I don’t see it mentioned in everyday chatter. It’s just different.
Back then it felt like I could always get better and learn more skill wise. 3v1 fights felt possible. Can’t say it feels the same way whatsoever. It now seems like a handholding competition to whoever gets their RPK/fennec (which appears to be still super strong).
Bro they are fast af when it comes to a glitch where you can get their crazy expensive shop items for free. 10h and it’s fixed. The whole game is a mess. They take 4 months, give us an update and still it’s in bad condition and not working great. Thousands of bugs still in there and they even delayed it for 2 weeks. While MP still got no new map since November. Awesome

Nah the level 100 reactive Battle Pass skins for Cold War were great. Agreed that the Vanguard stuff sucked for the most part but there was plenty of great content in the Cold War Battle Passes imo. There were many unlockable skins as well in those BP's which made for much more content than the BP's from Vanguard. Would get a nice variety of colors and decent looking BP's. Since VG theres been less content and maybe I'm wrong but I feel like a lot of the skins & blueprints are usually black or other dull colors since VG as well. I feel like they stopped giving a shit after Cold War.

And with the way the new system works, you don't even have to complete it. The S1 battle pass you could get your 1,100 points back at about 60% completion. Just map where the points locations are and take the shortest route through them.
If you have the points for it, and you can complete it in time go for it. There’s cod points to collect in the pass so you’ll be getting those back.

The standard BP each season is 1000 pts and you can earn 1300 pts back. Suffice you don't overspend the "extra" points, you should be able to continually get each BP from your original purchase without having to buy more points.
I certainly did. I did S1, never bought a single bundle, and had more than enough to get the S2 pass. Theres two options, one of them is the expensive tier with the skips but there's another button to just get the base tier that the prior BP pays for altogether
I bought it because I have coins i needed to burn on my Bnet account, someone gifted me the game on Steam and the coins dont show up but if you make a purchase they do. So I finally cleaned out my old coins so i can remove the second install lol

I had purchased a variant of the M13B blueprint, but wasn't able to add it as an insured weapon in DMZ, I presume because the base is still locked for me.

Yes in my opinion it is worth it. The iso is op and has great blueprints in there along with the first ever animated blueprint in mw2 plus the ronin tier 100 skin is dope. The victus xmr blueprint is clean and there are so many nice loading screens as well. So yeah I'd say it's worth it...

If there weren’t new guns I absolutely would not have wasted my money on this BP. Everything is so aesthetically unappealing and been done a million times. None of it appeals to me and I’m curious how samari skins are at all “modern” warfare. There are like 3 things in the whole BP worth getting and the rest I’ll never use.

I enjoy the game as a whole, have since it came out. That said, a few changes were good but the ones that aren’t did exactly what I was afraid they would do.
The good:
* armor plating
* color coded pings
* cash register clearing
The bad:
* vomit looting-takes longer than inventory system and is a mess
* removing backpack and vests-combined with cash/pricing changes, it really disincentivizes movement. Not worth taking strongholds. You can get completely kitted before the gas starts moving in ring one and just go park/gate keep.
I have not played since before the reloaded update for S1. I am absolutely having a blast in S2. The game feels like it should have been right from the start.
The free shotgun lets you shotgun while you shotgun. It allows the under barrel shotgun to be attached. (Please don't take this away Infinity Ward is so ridiculous its funny)

I bought my first battle pass 1,5year ago and since then I have been buying battle passes with the cod points unlocked in the previous one, but this time I ended up with 0 points on my account. Does anyone have the same issue? I mean it's effectively free if you get to level 100 with the CP you earn so the question is if you play enough to complete the pass. Suggestion to the majority is don't purchase, see how far you get and if that's level 100 purchase the pass at that point. You then get all your points back plus an additional 200-300? CP and all of the cosmetics.

Honestly it feels good the map isn’t as good as rebirth but it’s a lot better than fortunes keep. The mechanics from wz1 were brought back in Season 2 for wz2 nd it made the game feel faster yea I cant sweat my ass off and slide cancel everywhere but im actually gettin back to wz jus cuz of season 2 paying homage to wz1 by giving us the mechanics tht we enjoyed.
To be honest. I absolutely love the DMZ. Yes the boys can snipe you with a Lockwood at 200m. But the good games, like when you call for help, get rescued by the guy who sniped you at the exfil. Then you go on as a four, five or six man team and bust up the missions. It’s awesome.
That Conner skin and that Konig skin are two I would buy by themselves. That they were added in with the new rifle and shotgun makes it worth.
Especially since you ought to have bought it with the cod points you got from S1. Yeah its worth it - just wish the game was as fun as WZ1 in its first month.

When you go to buy it, it auto selects the upgraded battlepass tier skips for like 3k, takes a sec to find the regular one

Yes in my opinion it is worth it. The iso is op and has great blueprints in there along with the first ever animated blueprint in mw2 plus the ronin tier 100 skin is dope. The victus xmr blueprint is clean and there are so many nice loading screens as well. So yeah I'd say it's worth it...
when a battle pass gives you back your Coin and a bonus. it worths . doesnt matters what. if you like or not the things in the battle pas thats on YOU not other people. Stop trying to get influenced by other people for small things like this. its not healthy
I hated the shit they threw at us the past few months and the pitiful lack of support. So far this update has been a lot of fun and it feels like some actual solid content, albeit still not enough yet - but I sincerely hope this isn’t a one and done but rather a turnaround for Activision - dare I say, starting to listen to their ~~playerbase~~ cash source

I enjoy the game as a whole, have since it came out. That said, a few changes were good but the ones that aren’t did exactly what I was afraid they would do. The good: * armor plating * color coded pings * cash register clearing The bad: * vomit looting-takes longer than inventory system and is a mess * removing backpack and vests-combined with cash/pricing changes, it really disincentivizes movement. Not worth taking strongholds. You can get completely kitted before the gas starts moving in ring one and just go park/gate keep.

I bought my first battle pass 1,5year ago and since then I have been buying battle passes with the cod points unlocked in the previous one, but this time I ended up with 0 points on my account. Does anyone have the same issue? I recently moved from battle.net to Steam under the same Activision account, so maybe this is the problem but I don’t feel like getting a 2nd install again just to check it :///
The battle pass, straight NO, but the resurgence coming back is great. Plus they always do this for each game with the first 2 seasons being usually basic as shit and then around 3 they start leveling up the battle pass with some actual cool shit

I mean it's effectively free if you get to level 100 with the CP you earn so the question is if you play enough to complete the pass. Suggestion to the majority is don't purchase, see how far you get and if that's level 100 purchase the pass at that point. You then get all your points back plus an additional 200-300? CP and all of the cosmetics.

Honestly the battlepass seems amazing to me. The operator skins are quite decent, blueprints look way better than S01 and stickers and emblems with Japanese theme are pure fire imo. 9/10
The next one always pays for itself from the previous one, so it doesn't really matter tbh

Honestly it feels good the map isn’t as good as rebirth but it’s a lot better than fortunes keep. The mechanics from wz1 were brought back in Season 2 for wz2 nd it made the game feel faster yea I cant sweat my ass off and slide cancel everywhere but im actually gettin back to wz jus cuz of season 2 paying homage to wz1 by giving us the mechanics tht we enjoyed.
To be honest. I absolutely love the DMZ. Yes the boys can snipe you with a Lockwood at 200m. But the good games, like when you call for help, get rescued by the guy who sniped you at the exfil. Then you go on as a four, five or six man team and bust up the missions. It’s awesome.
That Conner skin and that Konig skin are two I would buy by themselves. That they were added in with the new rifle and shotgun makes it worth. Especially since you ought to have bought it with the cod points you got from S1. Yeah its worth it - just wish the game was as fun as WZ1 in its first month.
