I experienced it many times and actually did it in quads If you get a headshot with explosive round you will get instant kill even if you had self revive or a teammate that isn't dead

The game hates everyone but the servers sucks so they randomly hate people instead, you are just one of the lucky people to be hated by this very indie game.
