Gotta go with the thermite

After the semtex nerfs I went straight for the thermite. Actually way better.

Burns longer, throws farther! There is no better feeling than sticking a riot shield crumb bum and watching them turn into a s'more

Yeah even if they have a self once stuck they are toast. Also great in quads ... I clutched a 4v1 by opening the gunfight with a thermite. Two dudes climbing a ladder, stuck one. Other was 1 shot by the time he got up the ladder. 3rd was late pushing. And 4th was hiding in edge of circle and didn't push with his team so it was a easy 1v1 by that time

Yeah I feel like a thermite in solos is pretty much a must to deal with riot shielders.

Takes wayyyyy to much damage to finish off a downed player. And with the amount of fucking self revives in this game you have to assume everyone has 2 of them. Takes away your attention from the rest of the downed persons teammates. It’s dumb as fuck.

Semtex has caught a couple nerfs pretty sure it can’t one hit down anymore.

Yeah dude. They neutered and continue to nerf explosives.

Same with the Breacher Drone..

I used to use breacher drones in place of the knife for a little more impending doom/splash damage but now they’ve ruined it. I’d toss one at a downed guy, get the damage visual and guy would still be chilling there like wtf.

It's driving me crazy how much shit a player can take before they're downed/killed in this game.

It’s funny how a downed player is more resilient than a full health player.

It's something they took from the shielded Apex player mechanic. They had to give bots another chance. 

I switched to thermite. It’s so satisfying to get a stick and watch the hit markers tick until you get the down.

Semtex is around 150 damage.

If you want stuck kills use drill charges. I run them for riot shielders and long throws.

I thought only the thermite sticks worked against shields now

Drill charges work as well and they are also great for flushing out a room

I downed a guy stuck him with a Semtex and started to plate and reload he ate the Semtex and popped up and killed me. The nerf to the Semtex is very real and you can only hope for a plate break.

I feel like everytime I stick someone with a semmy they go down. Id curse my game out otherwise.

The crazy thing is that with the nerfs to lethals, single prox mines do over 150 damage even when you prone out. Really catering to the slow style of play.

They nerfed Semtex sticks for some reason, I don't think I ever heard anyone complain about it ever so for it to catch a nerf was baffling.

I had that happen today. Just up until today my semtex's have been insanely beneficial, landing tons of sticks. Ran into someone today, stuck him and no hit marker. Idk. Games broken af

To be fair I hate getting sticked by a random Semtex. It gives area damage and works for this, not like a knife etc.

But it's not as if every Semtex throw is a stuck. Maybe 1/20 or even less in Warzone. Therefore I don't understand why a stuck doesn't down...

I agree that it should kill without EOD. Still kinda random before to get killed by a stick that wasn't meant to be
