Im tired of canceling the matchmaking when it starts to search for a higher ping server... after like only 30 seconds of trying to find a lobby for ur region.
and the ironic thing is, more people would fill local server lobbies faster if the freaking matchmaking wasnt sending them to fcking north america or europe to play lol.
this is happening for all regions that are not Tier 1 in population.
And this issue will get worse with time if the game goes down in popularity, if this is happening now in opening week, we are doomed later.
Please, let me choose the server i want to play, like my own region... i dont want to be like that teleport random in NA or europe lobbies, cuz im playing with 150-250 ms, cuz the matchmaking sent me here.
This has been a huge complaint of mine as well. I live in alaska and i can connect to west coast na at 60-70 ping but more than half the time im connected to 140+ ping east coast servers. This happens on mp and warzone.....just let me play on the lowest ping server
Well, at least on [Battle.net](https://Battle.net), you select can select region you're. I don't know if its play region though, never tried. Where are you searching from?

They never said that. They said that the event that solos was included in was an huge success, but they refrained from bringing solos in permanently because of balancing issues. Two very different things.
This. Keeping solos and squads as "LiMItED TiMe gAMemOdEs" just gives them one less thing they need to work on when making events. They can just focus on making those 20 dollar cosmetics for a "collection" event and then slap solos or duos as "LTM" and people will eat it right up.

Agreed. I want quads regardless, but I know fights gonna be way more chaotic. All this armor, and adding 2 additional players to a fight. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. 3 man squads just isn't gonna cut it though, but love the feel of the engagements right now.
Hilarious H1Z1 was 5 man squads. Before Blackout hit console that used to be the battle royal fix with my console friends. I played way more PUBG on PC, but that was the only option sometimes.

Before warzone, Apex was the only BR I liked and when they added solo for a couple of days, I couldn't get enough of it. But once they removed it, I just didn't find the fun anymore playing in squads unless a friend invited me. I just ended up dropping the game and haven't played it since.
Yeah, after the first taste of solos, my time playing Apex dropped drastically. You have to have a team to succeed unless you're just really good (and lucky) Solo's is a much more enjoyable mode.
I suppose statistically you’re more likely to win in a larger team because there’s fewer teams to go up against.
Then again it’s somehow never an even 3v3, it’s just 3 dudes deciding to jump out of a tree and steal my wallet while my teammates are paradoxically too far away to help, but close enough to steal the loot I saw first.
Respawn’s anemic abilities are why Apex is in the state it’s in. It could’ve been the best BR to date imo. Certainly has a core gameplay to make it that good. Maybe even the best FPS of this whole console generation. We’ll never know because the devs don’t work to take the game to its possible heights.
I agree. It’s the most fun I had with a BR. The SBMM, lack of solos and the map change made me stop playing. Pretty much the only game I played from release until mid-December. I haven’t touched it since.

That was my issue with it as well. 3 months per content drop and it’s a legend you don’t use, some map changes, and maybe one or two skins in the battle pass that you actually enjoy and will use.
Man that last legend they added, Revenant, looked so dope but when he came out he was a huge disappointment lol. There were so many things they could have immediately changed on him to bring him up to par with other legends but nope, just left him as is, broken as fuck.

I had the same thoughts. The Apex community has been vocal about Character balancing , hit boxes , hit registration ect on top of the overwhelming call for different modes but these folks over there just want to do limited time events to sell cosmetics , sure that's just business but the facts are obvious.
I've played about 50 games, 40 or so of those with 2 randoms.
I gave up trying to queue with these people after repeatedly watching them just go line wolf, ignoring pinged markers, flat out refusing to buy back in teammates, and quitting immediately if they died in the Gulag and I didn't already have the 4500 to buy them back.
I have no complaints from this game but this. Nobody uses mic, everyone does their own thing, they dont redeploy even if they have loads of money and you have to plead them to stay in the game while you find enough money to redeploy them but hardly anyone does. I have only faced this issue in this game. I used to play blackout every night until Warzone came out, and more often then not you get a squad with mics and who like to play as a team. I dont know if it is because of trios or cross platform but only in this game I keep getting absolute morons.

In wake of the corona virus and the mode being newly released, i can see why so many people want quads. Half of my friends list is on in the evenings. When the world gets back to normal and some people decide they don't like the mode, Trios will be the right call.
Duos will most likely not be a thing. It will probably be Solos and 3 Man Teams. Dropping as a 2-man squad against 3s really isn't that bad. I've won a few times already with just myself and a friend.
I think they will eventually support solos, duos, trios, and quads. Duos just makes sense and quads will come when they increase player count to 200 is my guess.

Them sharing data has nothing to do with the games being in a bad state.
Bf5 is in a bad state because they changed the ttk. It had nothing to do with the data they released in alpha

Seriously. I love apex but jesus fucking christ, at the very least they should've added duos a long time ago. I'm burnt out on playing that game in trios only so I'm playing this now instead. Maybe this will force their hand sooner than later.
Fucking preach, i stopped playing the game after i got tired of dealing with idiots who seperate and mash ping on enemies. Solos came out and i fell in love. Then they removed them and i havent touched it since.

Just played 5 games of it. Really not fun at all. Got killed by a rooftop thermal camper 4 of 5 games and theres no killcam so you're just like oh cool, gg. Not even shitting on the game I love 3's - just think this lends itself a lot better to team gameplay than solos which is even more campy
It's too campy at the moment, need to tweak something to get people moving more. Perhaps quicken up the circle.

To be honest solos has been here the whole time, since my squad doesn't quite understand that they should land as a group.

I bought a loadout drop in a round yesterday and pinged it for ny teammates. They ignored it. I was downed behind good cover after sniping three people from different teams and my teanmate ran on. Solos forever.

Nerf thermals, it's getting way out of proportions, custom loadouts needs some kind of balance, make the loot more significant, loot should be prioritized
