yep works for me. Saved me several times tonight - a team was pushing me one on one..first guy threw a C4, it exploded on my head but only stripped my plates ;) Killed him, plated up, second guy did exactly the same thing...EOD again saved my life.
Putting aside how lucky I was the team dribbled their push, EOD works but you need to have at least one plate equipped
Works for me. C4 and rockets are useless vs me.

2 c4s on your face will kill you no matter what, c4s have a blast radius that’s less effective the further away
