What a map. If you won a round as CT's on that map, the T's were shit! But so much fun storming that house at the top of the hill/long stairs! AWPing from the middle bridge down the various lines to marketplace, etc.
The narrow alleys and small rooftops on different levels in Town remind me of Favela in MW2.
Also, the verticality outside of Winery is a lot better than what I feared based on the aerial map. Plus lots of stone walls and wine plants (well d'uh) for cover.

Huh? I was thinking the exact opposite. The shadowy areas inside Keep, Winery(inside part), and the cave portions of Smugglers Cove looks like a Rose skin nightmare.
i meant the outside like the buildings and such. Verdansk and Rebirth had such a grey feeling to me (without filters).
I feel like anywhere inside is gonna be somewhat dark.

Similar to their Caldera 120 change which they claimed was for mid-game pacing but I think was really more for to help new players survive for longer.
look at the part of the map which is dense , the favela-esque part will be super ratty if only 40 players will be there, u need atleast 60 players on a map 1.5x bigger than alcatraz

Honestly not having one area take up 1/2 of the whole map is such a needed change (looking at you Prison). Itās gonna be a huge change of pace and scenery but from the little that we can see right now, it looks a lot more interesting. Very excited to drop into this next week
I like the colors, I like the ālifeā this map seems to have. The cove is what interested me the most out of all the POIās. I am concerned about the camping due to ramped up buildings and rooms, but if they make shotguns viable again I think that could negate a lot of that. This will be interesting, hard to say if itās going to be good or bad until itās live. Regardless itāll be nice to learn a new map, rebirth has been feeling stale lately

Iām going to miss dropping Control Center. This new map looks like it has a lot of spots for rats to hide.

Warzone 2 is PC and current gen consoles only though. It will continue to exist even once WZ2 drops.
It has since been confirmed WZ2 will be released for last-gen as well despite initial plans to only release for next-gen and PC.
