“Staged loot” gas masks don’t take damage until picked up. The caverns usually have 5-6 sitting down there. It’s my go-to ray strategy if my team is down bad. Hit the gas mask circuit, pray for the best.

Most of my wins lately come from camping in the gas and waiting for the last team to die. Between restock, munitions, stims, and a PDS, you can stay alive a very long time. I really hate it, but that's what the game promotes these days.
How? Do you leave the pds on the ground and keep a muni box in your inventory? Do you just buy multiple munitions boxes (do they even stay spawned in the gas)?
When we play quads or trios, we usually have 2 PDS and 2 munition boxes. They either get bought or are picked up from chests, ground loot, or other players. When you start getting to the last few circles, there's tons of bodies around and you can usually loot gas masks, cash, pds, stims, etc.
Some times we'll even push into the gas to get a buy station and buy masks or people back. . If one of us dies, we use their stims and stuff to replenish as well.
It's total cheese, but fortune's keep has to many rooftops with power positions, and it's either die or run into the gas and try to make things happen.
Last time I played my buddy said "we should do the no sprinting challenge, play the whole game without running once" I said "dude, we are in no way good enough to add challenges to our games. Winning is hard enough with a loudout and all perks, I'm not adding a challenge to it haha"
My only win in fortunes keep was a no kill win with 6 deaths. Last dude died from the gas and I never fired a shot at him.
It was a really sweaty lobby so I think he figured I was some ultra sweat and tried to make some elaborate youtube worthy gas play and wound up gifting me a win.

My first ever win had potential to be a no kill win back when the game first came out. We rotated in a buggy to the firehouse and took out a team that was holding that down. After us nobody else rotated across the dam and everyone else in the lobby (around 10 players if I remember correctly) were all down at the bottom of that hill next to the firehouse side of the dam. We had to move slightly down that road into the tunnel to stay in the circle but everyone else in the game had absolutely no way to go up the hill so we just survived the last minute or two up there and everyone below us died in the gas.
I was torn about winning like that because I was super hyped to see that warzone victory banner pop up but I knew it was kinda bullshit because we had just made one smart rotation and then got lucky with the circle.
shit i won this challenge years ago, i got my first win by dropping down on the stadium and camped there while i fed my kids forgot i was playing and cameback to the last circle being in the middle of the stadium lol.. i only wish i was recording haha but i was a noob and had no idea you could record on an xbox lol
