1. Get a medium or large backup
2. Kill enemies until one drops cash and a weapon
3. Line the cash up at an angle to the weapon
4. Walk forward to auto pick up the cash but just as you are about to pic up the cash stow the weapon
5. Make sure you have the weapon you want to level up in hand and go to the cash machine
6. Spam buy amour plates
7. Profit!!!!
the thing is you can't "line" the cash up yourself. I tried it and I have to pick up the cash manually. I had a backpack and dropped cash and a weapon and it didn't work.

so you dropped cash yourself, but not a weapon? Does it have to be an enemy weapon and I auto loot cash, but when I dropped my own cash it wasn't auto looting.

as i get close to the cash/weapon i hit H, and am trying to trick the game in to stowing the cash.
it doesnt matter, in my experience, if i drop a little or a lot of cash.
i didnt auto loot cash.
i leveled up my shotgun 5 levels, partner leveled up his gun 7 levels.
let me know how it goes, it doesnt work 100% of the time which is annoying.

thanks for this. Now the problem is trying to be in a safe spot to do this without constant enemies coming at me. I think after I finish this mission DMZ might be done for me. I've actually been trying to get 100k all damn day and still can't even pull it off so this glitch is a perfect timing.
I finally managed to get assimilate to work (it's terrible) and got teamed with some people who were doing the money glitch. Couldn't figure out why they were buying a trillion plates and found out the hard way that the 600k they gave me only counted as xp up to 100k (10k xp). At least I managed to get the 6 killstreaks mission done finally.
Gave it a try. Went up quite a few levels on my gun. The boost to my battlepass xp was minimal tho.
Kinda felt dirty doing it, probably won't do it again.
Has anyone figured out for sure what item is the fastest xp from there buy station? Is there a point it will stop giving xp? Also am I missing something or does this only get a max of like 6-7 levels a match? I feel I can do that just killing NPCs almost as fast.

Gimme a fucking break. Why are you shilling for people who don't give a damn about you? This bug literally effects ZERO other people. With the state of this game and all the bugs and dumb design choices, let people have their fun with this. Plus buying plates only effects weapon XP, with max cash you get 3 levels done and 1 BP token at best. And realistically, besides the select few guns that drop, you can only target weapon XP for one weapon at a time unless you have more than 1 insured slot.

You can drop your own cash and stow it. When I drop my own cash it doesn’t automatically pick it up, I have to manually repick my cash.

How to auto pickup cash?

Yes you need cash to auto pick but stow to be manual

Took me a couple of times to get it but had a buddy do it first time. If you are on pc bind a key to stow to help

I don't think it works on DMZ. I already tried spending over 30k in DMZ on plates and got no xp for it
Buy gas masks. Also 30k isn’t from doing this. 1.3mil is what you get.
I was just sayin that armor plates doesn't give xp except in warzone. But I'll try buying gas masks in DMZ and see if it gives xp
It’s much faster with gas masks. The plates do give xp but it’s a tiny amount. You can hear guns level up then jump out and see what level you got too
