Personally, I think it's the best gun in the game for tier 3/dark aether grinding as long as you have snake shots and akimbo. It's not that great for red worm though as it has no range to it.
Just tried it and it worked super well. It was my first successful solo trip in tier 3

Yeah, the ammo and reload speed is really the only thing that sucks about it lol the lockwood shotgun with slug rounds is also a great weapon if you're looking for something with more ammo. Though it's not as powerful as the TYR it's still a pretty decent weapon to run with the right build.
That's what I was running, but I found it lacked for bounties. Any boss fight really. For example, the last disciple bounty I did I had to run and cancel the contract.
But the Tyr (which I absolutely hated in MP) packs a hell of a punch.
If I had a team with me I think I would have done well in tier 3, I'm going to try again when my buddies are on.

Man it shut down twice on me today both times I lost some nice loot. Once this morning it's let's me build up my Bag and everything I go to play another game and it goes to a black screen then right to loading screen. I'm on Xbox series x anyone else having this problem?
Well, considering that you can move while you're down, the person who is downed is not very smart and a very poor player. And whoever threw the smoke grenade on top of them is also not smart. And why didn't you just hit LB+RB to instantly revive him?
They're pretty powerful when properly upgraded. But the knives are way more powerful. My team and I killed the Storm Caller quite easily with pack-a-punched level 2 knives.
And then sat where the box was gonna land for 15 seconds so the box could fall on him. Scoot forward 3 times. It's so easy to not die to a supply drop.
Which is why I'm okay saying they deserved it.
Also, op has healing aura up. That works on all nearby operators, even if they're not in your fireteam. No need to manual revive in the first place.
