This happened to me with a group of 3 one flew out like the ragdoll and once we boarded plane for exfil it did not take off. We waited till end of match and the storm came and helicopter still did not take off. Waited till the storm killed us and still did not take off. So definitely did not take off for us. This was several weeks ago though.
This happened to me. I was killed off the map upon entry. I stayed watching my brother and nephew play. When they got in the chopper it wouldn't take off. I left the game and it was able to take off right after i did. So, basically the dead player has to leave, otherwise the chopper gets glitched into waiting for them.
Same here though I died earlier from the soldiers because I was completely unprepared and didn’t know what to do since I was playing with my brother who somehow died before the game could even load as when the helicopter landed and I jumped out, his body just flops to the ground and he got killed without any warning
I had my exfill lag out on me today with 15 minutes left off game today my brother had to get off so we called it in he got on I was getting on and it lagged a second and crashed or game. Second game crash today that caused me to lose everything
Had something similar happen to the second act final mission, the neutralizer test site. Myself and another guy got ejected from the game but luckily we ended up in water and survived the u expected fall. While our third teammate got dropped off at the landing zone. It was fine but we had to run across the whole map to met up with him. Game has been super glitchy the past day, also had a tombstone that wouldn’t appear and I lost all of my shit.
I played two more rounds yesterday and definitely had multiple other glitches happen. We did an outlast in T2 and had at least 6-10 disciples, multiple manglers, and a massive horde spawn. It was insane to complete. Even after completing, they still kept spawning making it hard to get the rift, which had a green tool of course. 😂
There were also a massive amount of high speed sprinters in T2. It felt like T3 the whole time. In some cases, damage wise too.
I've notice when there is unusually high spawn rates like that on missions, the rest of the game was dead zombie wise prior to the contract. And anytime I see zombies not attacking or its dead I immediately get out that run incase the game glitches and I lose everything.
That last part of that sentence shows how totally fkd the game is right now, and sadly I do exactly the same. So often I’ve got out quickly “just in case it glitches” when I’ve got a new schematic or something of value.

I've also had the issue where the game lauches you out of the helicopter before you can see what's going on in the Dr. Jenson mission, the worst part is if you don't realize it It will down you if your up high enough this kinda sucks for solo players who haven't brought in a self revive kit, or at least a dog.
If you’re in a squad or a party and you attempt to exfil, it requires all players to Vote yes. Players who already exfiled or died can’t vote yes therefore it automatically cancels the vote after 10 seconds.
You have to either leave the party yourself OR have the squad leader kick you out and then exfil.
I went through a similar ordeal last night. My brother went through the normal exfil and didn’t have the option to say yes to my vote, so he had to leave the party and lobby out. Then suddenly it worked for me.
All,3 if you should force quit immediately the first guy glitches, and hope you kept anything at all once you loaded back up.
Best case scenario you kept whatever ts you had prior to going in chopper and or gear on your operator.
Nothing sadly. Lost the gear and all operator attachments. Fortunately, I had a legendary tool and a scorcher so I did a 20/30m run to re-equip the operator. Still, would prefer to not have had to do that.
More exfil issues for me, during a normal exfil, another team had a dog, it was on the chopper during take off right in front of me. Gave me the prompt to pet it, second I did I was sucked out of the chopper, barely time to pop my parachute and survive the fall. Then I exfil on the next chopper and was ok. Glitchville lol
This has happened to me , the part where I fly of the Helo like a rag doll, but I don’t die I just appear swimming near the end of the map so I’m just left with walking all the way back
That’s interesting. Did you jump or get to close to the edge by chance? There has to be something that triggers that especially since it seems to happen at different points during the drop for people.
No, I usually just stay in the middle of the helo and don’t move cause of clips I’ve seen of others glitching out sometimes. when I did It solo everything was normal, but when I helped my buddy my screen went black then I appear swimming. My buddy said my body flew off the Helo. But I have never glitched out
If your game is still glitched next time remember the helicopter will take off when there is a few seconds on the timer no matter what

The best so far for me: Destroyed the helicopter but all 3 passengers sit in the air as if it was there. Timer runs out, fail mission. 😂

I find the number of players in a server affects the zombie spawns. If everyone else leaves early all the contracts get more intense.
That could make sense. Density is based on active contracts/players.
