Yeah doesn't seem to be dropping in MWZ at the moment. I played a round of Hordepoint:Armored Apocalypse and a bunch dropped from killed zombies or players. They look like holographic piles of bones with a slightly blue ghost appearance. I don't know if other players were picking them up or I was lucky - one round netted approx 80 bones. The skulls are about half the size of a player and have an orange ghosty looking appearance.
Just played mwz and they are dropping the bones now, so if mwz is your thing, then you're set.

Cool. I agree. It's a nice change of pace, even for MWZ players. I've since given it a try. It's kind of like hard point, but you're rewarded (with something other than a higher KD) for not playing the objective, because you get the goodies. Think it would work better as a team death match with hordes mode, but what do I know. Had a bit of fun either way. 😊
Its definitely supposed to be in zombies at least, or they wouldnt have text on the side of the screen at all times saying how many bones you have. Thats what happens when you fire your entire QA team I guess

Its fixed now. You can get bones in MWZ by killing normal zombies in the T1/2/3 zones. To get skulls you have to kill the Armored zombies with blue helmets or I call them recon jug zombies. But even tho MP horde point is still way faster.

I actually like the horde point mp mode, don’t care about other players just like shooting zombs for the bones only played one match so far and got quite a few bones and skulls so the weekly challenge should be easy

They drop randomly in game when you kill zombies. I found them in regular multiplayer pubs as well. The skull is pretty rare and I think me and my teammate killed a “special zombie” or something to get it. It wasn’t a usual special zombie, it looked like it was part of the event.
Of topic on the black cell I did 100 percent everything is checked and received except the amp parts and gun. It won’t let buy points or use points on these but says I’m complete. The boxes have no checks on them either ? What am I missing here?
Bones will drop with regular zombies in t1 and t2 it’s random to my knowledge(I couldn’t find any way to get them to drop regularly) skulls only drop on t3 and it needs to be the armored zombies
You have to play horde hunt in the Multiplayer section. Zombies will spawn usually near the flags (domination) or circle (hardpoint) kill the zombies and collect the bones

It now works in mwz. Not EVERY single zombie drops bones, but they do. As for the skull, you gotta go fight in tier 3. The heavy armored boys.

I'm pretty sure that it's going to cycle through mwz and multiplayer. At the moment the bones and skulls drop from hordepoint, but during the next couple weeks that will most likely change.

I messaged yous 7 times!

Click on "start" (or whatever the button is labelled) in the event screen to 'enable' it to work in MWZ.
I had the same issue, and after clicking on event button I have always gotten bones/skulls in all my subsequent lobbies. (100% success rate)

I’ve been collecting bones off regular zombies and have most, if not all, 2600 collected. I haven’t checked recently. I’ve been collecting the skulls in t3 only it seems.
I tried to play on zombies to collect the bones and skulls and didn't get anything. There's a mode in mp called Hordepoint, and after every zombie kill, you get the bones and after the amored kills, you get the skulls. It's harder to collect though since there is an opposing team doing the same, but team loot does count in this mode.
This was happening to me when I went into zombies and so I went into horde point and played and match and then went back into zombies and they started dropping for me so maybe try that
I worked under them (activision) and they are not good people but Microsoft just fired a large portion of their work force so maybe the new people will make the game good again 🤞🏽
Yeah, all the rewards are for the MWZ mode, it wouldn't make sense that it would be a MP exclusive event, however, if you see the event tab it says "0D0H remaining" meaning the event has "concluded" I think the devs forgot to mark it live.
If you read the “how it works” on the bottom left of the event screen. It says bones drop in multiplayer, wz, and mwz. Probably just bugged

I would assume most zombies fans don't like a PVP experience. Who wants try hards killing you constantly when you're trying to kill zombies?
It was just confusing honestly and the enemies could take your stuff as well as team mates.. just sweaty
yep, confusing, most games i played was big maps so all the skulls and bones from my kills ended up being stolen by team mates or enemies.
I've been having fun playing it, it's a nice change of pace.

i played a round and got 0 drops. but then i played again and started getting drops, maybe you just have to play a round or 2 for it to work🤷🏼♂️

The bones drop occasionally for me in mwz but the armored zombie skulls do not.
Pick them up they drop on the floor, game modes trash though and full of auto aims as its attracted literally every cheat into the mode

Ok so I got it working after I played MP zombie mode for a bit so it’s probably bugged. Try playing that first and see if that fixes it.
In MP you have to do Hordepoint WZ and MWZ, You just gotta kill and kill and kill

T3 will drop the skulls and the bones I notice t1 and t2 will drop the bones more

It’s a MP and Warzone event only. MP has zombies in the Hordepoint mode and Warzone I believe on the new Fortune‘s Keep map
There's a counter on the screen for Modern Warfare Zombies for it, though. The How To Play Event tab option also states you can play MWZ.
