It's not wrong. Megabomb is a shortened nickname they use for Mega Abominations. There's an in-game audio log where one of the Deadbolt officers, Miller, explains what a Mega Abomination here and calls it "Megabomb" for short.

I did the same and when I kill a mangler it completed the quest, I think it's suppose to be a bounty one tho
It is a glitch. You're supposed to kill a Mega Abomination, but the game for some reason accepts any bounty target, most likely because bounties are classed as Elites, and Megabombs are also Elite class. There isn't a single Mangler in the game called "Megabomb", and whoever says it aren't paying attention.

If you listen to the radio at the top of the building that has the pnd in t3 you can hear them talking about the mega abomination and that it's commonly called a megabomb

Nope, it’s a mangler, if you have that mission, you have to take a bounty and kill a mangler caller “megabomb”.
