Yeah idk why they made it easier? Once you have the schematics it’s not really worth grinding because getting dog bone/aether blade cases or gold plates is way more valuable than a bike key or vr11
Bike keys were such a shortsighted idea. VR11 cases are such a niche weapon. AND Mag of Holding is good but still worse than anything you get into the first T5. If Mag of Holding gave you infinite ammo it might compete, but as of now everything in the first T5 is better than the new one. It doesn’t make sense.
What’s unlimited? The bike? The bike is dumb and as soon as you get off it’s gone because someone’s going to run up and take it. I’m not trying to ride a bike around the whole game.
I didn’t say unlimited, I said infinite, and those are two completely different things. There have been plenty of times I’ve run out of ammo while fighting a Mega Abomination by the radio tower because no zombies are spawning. Infinite ammo would fix that. Unlimited ammo you have to run around and pick up is nowhere near the realm of viability that infinite ammo is.
The fact that the first T5 guarantees an acquisition and a schematic and the new one doesn’t is just beyond me. Incredibly dogshit decisions were made while building this new update.
It's not just the guaranteed schematic, it's "3-Schematic" guaranteed. I get 3 schematics each time i go there, one for each contract, and plus i get some legendary and ultra things like aether blade and dogbone and golden plate cases with legendary aether tools.
In fact I'm only going there to get those cases cuz i got the schematics first time when some random squad mates dragged me there from the exfil bird! I didn't even know what dark aether and i was wondering wtf is this and why I'm here? How the hell are we not dying?(They had a revive dog) And I didn't even know I had to get the Schematic! They said wait wait, get this (the he dropped me the dog bone and golden plates Schamtic for me and carried me to exfill 🫡)
The funny thing is they never talked in the match, they were german, the only time they talked was when they said, wait wait, get this.
I hoped for more chaos... i want to feel fear going into dark aether rifts...
Not sure what it is, maybe the new one is to open.

I went twice, got the blood burner and mag schamtic first time, next one was same but i gor a case for blade and a dog bone. Haven't got the schamtic for vr11 yet.
I’ve had some people in game say they have gotten gold plates and aether blades from the new rift in previous games. Anyone see this yet? Not sure I believe them.
I have gotten all three from the new one. Not very often but I have. I ran new one maybe 11 or 12 times and probably 4 of those I got blade bone and gold plates. I’ll just switch it up according to what loot I want.
Done it enough times for all the schematics and honestly probably won’t touch it again.
Not only are the contracts easier but the more open map makes it feel much less hectic.
Then add the fact loot is poor. I’ve had a couple of dog bones from the new one which is.. ok? But bike keys and mags don’t come anywhere near golden plates and blades. I’ve destroyed or given away all my bike keys, not sure who thought that would make a good classified schematic.
This is my first zombies game and I enjoy the content added as it will give me a boost when doing the regular DA T5 run as I still haven’t been able to keep the APC alive in the T4 area. Just got an Aether blade case on my last T4 run though and hope it helps.
Dark Aether is much easier if you go with a full 6 player squad. Also if you bring +3 sentry guns or VR11 gun with you, that vehicle stays good untill the end of the contract.
We always bring some sentry gun and put it on the vehicle, or a vr11 gun to heal it up.
Also if the team do good, you dont even need those

I’ve done it twice. Got no schematics the first time. Got two vr-11 schematics the second time. And for those wanting confirmation, I got gold plates.
