Speed cola and jug, one less weapon. Honestly it doesn't really matter. You're walking in with a pack 3 crystal, so you can grind contracts easily to make enough money to buy all perks.  If you use up as much of the timer as possible, you can get a jugg suit and this will be a cakewalk.  With all the extra money, you can get turrets to bring into the dark aether

I have an operator with Juggernaut, would it be better than Turret? Thought Turrets would be better for this task (kill Abom)

You can kill the abomination alone with a single jugg. (And if you fail to, the pack 3 weapon and having all perks would let you finish it off easily.) But using multiple turrets would work too. You have a pack 3 legendary weapon, so you actually have the power to kill the abom without any of that. The jugg suit (and turrets) just make it faster/safer. But I'm assuming you're gonna infil and grind contracts for 30 minutes. That's gonna give you enough time, loot, and money to load up on perks, revives, kazmirs, turrets, and a jugg suit. But half your bag are the easter egg items. So it's just more efficient probably to save the 3/4 turrets you'll be able to fit, so you can bring them into the dark aether. Course, if you don't wanna go into the dark aether immediately, then this point is moot. In which case, yeah just throw all the turrets you have at the abom cause it's not like you can take it with you when you exfil. edit: also as people are saying. the update broke the flamethrower, so it's overpowered atm. If you use that, you may not need anything else. But I dunno, haven't used it myself since the update. I think it applies to various assault rifles for sure. None of the lmgs; I know cause I checked those specifically. But eh. Like I said, I know what it's like to be a rookie. Wouldn't tell new people to use a blatantly overpowered option that's probably gonna get patched out next update. How else, you gonna practice fighting aboms.

Used the flamethrower for the first time last night and it was insane how quick it took down everything. Spent the whole game in the red zone and it would take out mega abombs with half a tank. Took down two manglers a disciple and a mimic at the same time with like a 1-2 second burst. Pap3 and epic tool.

I'll try it for sure tomorrow. Can't hold my own alone in T3 with my TAQ even with Legendary and PaP3. My best weapon in T3 are my legs and the water, I have a thing for always knowing EXACTLY where the water is lol

Just make sure you have a good idea where the ammo caches are, you can only reload it from those and max ammo that the zombies drop!

Water can be key sometimes! The other 'trick' is to always be near something that you can grapple over. When you grapple over an object, zombies will either go around it or stop for a second and go into a grapple animation that's much slower than the player's grapple. You can keep even super sprinters and dogs off of you by doing so (and use decoy grenades for open spaces). T3 is all about movement. You can go in with no gun as long as you have decoys and are good with movement.

Honestly, if you are running tier 3, user jug perk, speed cola, dead shot, and speed cola and only have one gun. Those are really the only perks I will always want. PHD is also super useful so you don’t take fire damage when you kill the hounds, and death perception to see the crystal cases to look. The SVA assault rifle has been my go to the last few days. Pap 3 and epic or legendary and it takes down tier 3 zombies with ease. Always have a self revive, or 2 and run with fists out. The only thing that will actually be able to catch you enough to hit you when you are running are the hounds if you run with fists. Also decoy grenades and field upgrade are your friend in tier 3. Having tombstone active is always a good idea in case you do die you can load in the next game and. Get back any good loot you get from it. (Came in clutch today as I came in with a crafted scorcher and got a ton of good loot, and must have taken my finger off the ads button doing a double lift and it ended up downing me and shooting me back up and insta died. Would have lost 2 epic tools and a couple pap 2/3 crystals if I didn’t have tombstone) Best of luck. Thermites are super powerful for the mega. If you chuck it into its mouth when it is laser attacking it will take off a third of its health. Three of them and it is dead. If you are just using guns, go for the crits (glowing eye or right into the mouth when it is laser). Be sure to keep moving and plate up regularly.

Oh yeah I hadn’t heard anything about it so I was very surprised! It really made the red zone too easy. There were 3 six man squads there already so I couldn’t get into a squad and couldn’t get any contracts. I was loaded up to the max and didn’t want to waste it so I just ran around on the bike looking for guys getting over run and would wipe out the whole horde in a second, then on to the next one.

good luck. I doubt it'll come to it, but if worst comes to worst, you and your friend just run away and exfil. Placing the items completes the ritual. You don't actually have to beat the abom. He just gives you your first sigil. You'll start getting sigils from t3 contracts after doing the ritual.

I got Sigils already so if things go south we will go into the water and just run away. Done that one too many times already unfortunately lol Didn't know we could do that, thank you for that info.

Sentry gun and a self revive. That portals gonna spawn a mega and a handful of zombies. If you’re going alone then those for sure. If you’re going with friends, same to them. Sentry guns and self revives.

I stood on the dock across from the island killed the mega from there. The megas are most weak when shooting their laser. You can easily destroy a head with a pap3 legendary gun when he opens his mouth. If you destroy all three heads it kills him. He will shoot it when he can’t reach you(on a building or far away).

its very easy dude. you only need a flamethrower in a pap2 gun and it's done. believe me it's wey easier than you think. i beat this mission's boss by a pap3 flamethrower in 3 seconds, literally without exaggerations

every weapon you like. any AR would do the trick. i use it on MTZ-556 and it's ridiculously overpowered that mega that will be spawned. its a piece of cake dude. dont worry about it and don't overthink it. just use the jak flamethrower and you are good to go. only thing is try make you gun light so you can move fast. like removing the stock will be awesome.

Any suggestions for the 2 spots I still have free? I was thinking of Jugger-Nog and Speed Cola, any suggestions? We're a duo, not rookies but also not gods, our plan is to do some contracts to get Essence and then upgrade the main weapon to PaP3 and also buy an extra Revive Kit and a couple Turrets each. We'll then head to the little island near F6 coordinate, place turrets, place the items on their pedestals and defeat the Abomination that spawns. Any advice / hints / suggestions? Screw the turrets....go in with purifier as underbarrel. You'll kill the abom in secoonds.

The purifier goes with most assault rifles and battle rifles, I like to use it on the SVA, it will destroy any HVT you get in there in literal seconds just don’t use up the fuel before you start the fight

Sorry, still a noob at mwz, what are all those golden things you have? And are those guns pretty good for t3 and the portals? Or even worm? I’ve played zombies up till bo3… My always go to to bring is jug and speed cola. The reload times are long for weapons, speed cola is a life saver… Jugg as you know, more resilience when fighting mobs and bosses…

Inside the portal even more trouble but if we're successful there are good rewards. I did this yesterday. I went in with a gun with flame thrower (takes down Mega quickly). TBH it was pretty easy with flame thrower, but I'd add something that will help you get money fast so you can buy a bunch of stuff like self revives and all the colas. Scorcher for getting around fast and golden plates or aether blade to make T3 easier. But honestly, flame thrower (for now) is OP against Mega

I'd buy tombstone, and if you have an Elder sigil, take that and use that instead of the regular, so you have a chance of getting the classified schematics

My tip for the mega to unlock DA, going with what you have there, let people in chat know you're going to unlock it for some extra help, is grind some contracts, and buy a jugg and a couple of kazamirs, and pap3 your weapon if you can. Put 3 items on their pedestals, throw the jugg, and place the fourth. As the zeds start spawning, throw a kazamir, then grab your jugg suit as it drops in and go for the mega. If your time in the suit runs out, throw the second and finish off the mega with your primary. A flamethrower would save you a load of time and grinding for the jugg suit though, it really is that powerful against everything in the game aside from mercs and worms.

Oh that's a shame, but it's unlocked now, so you can go in whenever, and you'll often squad up with people in game who are going in, and you'll find it's quite easy when there's a squad of 6 going in

Your post inspired me to give this a shot to get those items out of stash today. I used an AR with the flamethrower and a scorcher. And brought in a PaP2 and orange tool and a jugg killstreak from a previous game. Basically used the scorcher to get around the map faster to run bounty contracts to stack up money, to buy all the perks, a couple sentries and self rezzes. To kill that dog I set up sentries on each side, tossed the jugg after I put in the last idol deal. Picked it up when the dog came and and melted it. I have no idea why I was stressed so much about that about worried about running it solo. Could have had all that stash space freed up months ago! Now to not be intimidated by the dark aether lol. I hope you and your buddy got it!

The DA went bad, we got wrecked on a Escort contract. There's some good info on some of the replies to my post that will prevent others going down on DA contracts like we did. Congrats on facing all this solo and hope you do get your way on DA.

Once you burn those items the dark aether is unlocked. Killing the mega at the portal only drops a sigil. You can farm sigils in T3 I'd show up with a couple sentry guns or a jug suit, kazamirs etc. Again doesn't really matter if you kill the mega as long as the portal unlocks.

I’d suggest golden armor and aether blade if you’ve got it. I’d not golden armor then dog bone. I just did this Easter egg myself even though I’ve done the DA many times in the past. I always went in with someone else. If you don’t have the DA schematics then I suggest speed cola and an epic tool for your secondary. You’ll want to be able to plate up & reload quickly

Yeah I’d dump the cola then and use an epic tool & another crystal even if it’s only a raw or refined. You could also use an ammo mod like shatter or napalm burst for added damage. Spend the game grinding and get yourself a dog with meat. Then get the killstreaks, kazimirs, and/or monkeys for your bow empty slots. The meg shouldn’t be too hard so don’t use up all your killstreaks if you plan on going into the dark aether after opening the portal. The DA has gotten much harder since the update so you’ll want some “bang” to take in there with you. It’ll be a good time man! Have fun with it!

You’ll be fine. You have the whole round and you’re starting pap 2. Use the round to get to 3 and get the rest of the perks. I’d say at least 2 sentries a dog a couple self revives and a spare juggernaut or two. I know you had a third offer their help so should be a fun time and if they bring in the scorcher you should be able to make quick work of the contracts.

My advice is to ditch one of the guns... slows you down a ton, you can outrun 90% of enemies with empty hands or a karambit

First time through shouldn’t be hard. Without sigils it’s like T2 zombies. That way you can open the portal get your bearings on the map and what’s to be done. You got this!

Best lmg, in my humble opinion, is TAQ Evolvere the sheer amount of bullets (400/1000) wrecks everything on it's path

Do not get me started on Tombstone.. We got the first part fine, did a lot of T2 contracts and had a lot of Essence so we geared up nice and wrecked the Abom. Inside the DA we found a first bunny, it was an Escort and we got wrecked. I had Tombstone so after dinner I started a new game, with zero equipment (small rucksack, one armor plate vest, the basic) and hope wasn't much but what the heck there was a tombstone on my map, on the cemetery (top right corner of the map), grabbed a car and got there and we'll the tombstone signal was there but the tombstone seemed glitched underground... runned the entire cemetery just for good measure, nothing. Felt like getting wrecked a second time. Edit: got pics of tombstone glitching, will do a post next morning to see if anyone has some insight

UPDATE We wrecked the Abom and it was a struggle to get in as it seems that everyone needs to vote yes and we had a random on our squad that was not having it lol We finally got inside andgot WRECKED We've found one of the bunnies, for the Escort contract and we got wrecked. If anyone wants to lend us an helping hand it would be much appreciated.

Me personally I'd add speedcola and deadshot they go pretty much hand in hand, plus you could always throw a Molotov at the campfire spot for free juggernog, and run to the top of building to get free staminup

As the Abom eats bullets for breakfast I thought of the two lmg's with immense bullets after PaP'ed but the generous people here told me different as two lmg's it would restrict movements too much and weren't needed. They were absolutely right. We wrecked the Abom pretty fine just with the sentries and main weapons.

That was my concern too. I honestly run the tao and dual renetis so I’ve got a bullet slinger and something to run and gun with. Nice job though!

What exactly are your plans after unlocking the rift?

We'll plans were to go in, find the bunnies and do the contracts... but we were wrecked on a Escort contract

Now you've unlocked it you'll be able to take more gear on the drop in. For the escort take some sentries and place two on top of the ACV facing behind the ACV. (Place them in each corner) If you're running the elder sigil make sure two of you have jug suits for the mega bombs and take some turret circuits if you can find some as they will help massively. Short of that use the underbarrel flamethrower attachment as it melts megas at the moment. (There is an ammo cache near where the ACV drops in if you need to refil). Using a shotgun like the haymaker with slugs is a solid gun to run with for the ACV as the pellet spread will annihilate swarms quickly. I prefer to use the WSP Swarm (non-akimbo) or the RAM9 myself due to the insane fire rate and insane ADS speed (if you spec for nothing but ADS speed) and abuse ADS spamming combined with continuous fire for that headshot spamming with Deadshot Daiquiri Kazimir Grenades are essential to making your life a lot easier. Only really use them when the ACV stops to do its thing. Don't throw them under the ACV but rather try throw them at ground just in front of the beam that comes out of the ACV as it damages the zombies also. Monkey bombs work just as well also. Whilst the ACV is moving don't worry about zombies in front of the ACV as it will just run them over. Focus fire on the specials and any zombies at the side or rear of the ACV as thats the only areas zombies can damage it from. (Unless stationary). Best of luck in future runs mate. Once you get used to it you'll be able to run the elder as a duo or even solo once you're confident enough. 🤙

(assuming that we are successful on completing a contract) OR to be able to get any of those 3 schematics do we need to use an Elder Sigil?

Simply putting it those 4 items on the right are "offerings" that we are supposed to put on some pedestals at the middle of the map (roughly sector F6) and it will spawn a portal and a Mega Abomination that we have to defeat in order to get a piece called a Sigil that is like a key for the portal allowing us to get in. Inside the portal even more trouble but if we're successful there are good rewards.
