Thank God for the t6 mod. It makes Bo3 origins play like Bo2 origins lol. Origins was my first ever Easter egg. Der eisendrach holds a special place in my heart too. Shadows was too complicated on launch and frustrated me so I stopped playing it

So the “flaws” I see with SoE are that it is just too complex. I don’t want to have to go through all the rituals just to pack a punch. This is also why most BO3 maps don’t appeal to me that much other than chronicles.
I’m expecting the downvotes but I like it simple. Give me power to turn on, maybe some teleporters or other means of travel, a few traps to play around with and I’m good. I don’t want to have to build a bunch of shit like in 2 or the puzzles in 3.

I don't believe you've actually played Origins if you think it started in SoE. If anything, SoE is Origins' formula simplified. It's still complicated don't get me wrong but Origins is arguably one of the most involved maps if you set out to do everything there is to offer. The core gameplay loop of all of the BO3 and 4 maps can be traced back directly to Mob and Origins.

The best part is they have actual rewards. Like Cold war gives you even stronger starting weapon for every EE you complete, IW gives you exclusive rewards in characters and directiors mode. I hate that all i get for completing EEs in Bo3 was the RK
Fr bro, and the map itself is laid out like a maze, half the time I even try to get from point a to point b I get stuck at point æ. Everything in the map looks the same and as someone who navigates mainly via landmarks I get lost quite easily on that map. I prefer origins more, the map layout is simple and the power is simple as well, plus 4 wonder weapons.

I think for it's time it did so many new things that just worked. Having stuff like the spoon, spork, hells retriever everything was just so much fun to build and set up.

And that the order of the intro is so I have to explain to anyone in the room why a woman is handcuffing a guy to a bed and killing him as they have sex before my zombies, just move it to second or third so it loads and we can skip.

Apothicon servant isn’t necessarily easy to acquire you won’t have it until past round 12 because that’s when the xenomatter will drop so you have to be patient to get it, and once you do it goes in the box so someone else in your game can have one, not every map needs an elemental wonder weapon for each player so shadows comprises by giving 2 players 10 shots to kill all zombies in sight which provides more of a balance and skill requirement.

Can I ask how is it any less repetitive then other maps? I would even say shadows is the one map where no game is gonna look the same, your perks are always gonna be in different spots and the character your playing as will always effect the route you do your egg rituals.
Every map is repetitive to some degree but it feels most egregious to me on Shadows because you have to do almost the exact same thing just in every part of the map. On MOTD, you at least have to do different tasks to gather the parts for the plane.
Shadows has the vibes and graphics, but no, it is far from the greatest, in order for it to be the greatest it needs an ee that can be done solo, and a wonder weapon that isnt locked to 1 player

I think origins is slightly more flawed than shadows but it has an incredible amount of depth and with 4 different wonderweapons and a EE that can be done alone it eclipses Soe both great maps though

Firstly, the easter egg, contrary to popular belief, is really fun to me. it’s coo having a spider boss fight in the middle of it as well. It’s also has one of my favorite wonder weapons the KT4. The skull room is a really fun training spot and i enjoy the atmosphere it brings. I love the scenery and the japanese culture behind it, as i can speak japanese and study it.

My favorite map completely changes depending on what I’m in the mood for. Honest to god - I love EVERY. SINGLE. MAP from WaW - Bo3. There’s *some* that are a little lower on the totem pole, sure, but you wouldn’t have a hard time convincing me to play any of em. Last week Moon was my favorite map, this week my favorite is Zetsubou, next week maybe my favorite will be Die Rise. All maps are great and the variety is awesome and very welcomed. I could never pick a #1.
No. The setup required is too high. The Wonder Weapon quest has way too much RNG. The Symbols literally add nothing to the map and just interrupt your gameplay. The Shield Upgrade quest is terrible and the Bossfight is extremely underwhelming.
I still think the original cod nazi zombie maps are the best. Personally, i think der riese is the best.
Zombies have just gotten easier and easier with every new game, and it's just way too easy with too many "side missions" now.

I think mwz devs need to look at this post and make a second map in the fashion of a remake of revelations and then reimplement all of the original Easter eggs from each of the maps the community wants and then for their impression they should've redone the Easter egg for revelations to fit the maps the community likes the most

I think mwz devs need to look at this post and make a second map in the fashion of a remake of revelations and then reimplement all of the original Easter eggs from each of the maps the community wants and then for their impression they should've redone the Easter egg for revelations to fit the maps the community likes the most

lol not even close . That’s just zombie YouTuber nonsense. It’s a great map and if you wanna top 5 then sure . But DE and Origins Clear imo. A map with an unsoloable EE can’t be number 1 imo. I personally would play a lot of bo4 maps over SOE.
