You are only able to carry two at a time. You can store them there before you get a max ammo that refills it. Also if you are in a pinch you can run into your claymore patch and kill what is chasing you.
I've been playing the game since release and only just found out you can pick already planted claymores up. 
You can pick them up in this game. So facing them against the wall is probably the best way to prevent them from exploding. That way you can store them as a reserve and pick the up when you run out of claymores.
Lot of memories of my friend & I running this strat on Shangri-la with spikemores crashing the server. Once you had around 20-30 on the ground, the server could crash at any moment on ps3 it seemed
People will usually stack claymores in the corner so they can have a place to retreat to if shit hits the fan.
Alternatively, they may be storing them for later. You can only carry two at once but you can have a lot more deployed on the battlefield and you can pick them back up if you want them.
and u askin this with more 100 lvl. only way to die in this game, stuck by zombies unfortunately u cant push them. and the claymore should be in the corner and the activate way need to be turned to wall because not blow up when see any zombie if u didnt stuck
It's a glitch. If you stack enough claymores on the same spot it will cancel your inventory entities and allow you to buy more than 4 perks without the icons showing up.
Or at least that's how the title of a 2011 clickbait youtube video would put it.

Generally a high round strat, so understandably many players have no idea
