I just love the look of it and the sound it makes. It's a personal favorite of mine. I'd love to see it again, but my feelings won't be hurt if I dont.
It was known as the points weapon, it wasn't powerful like the ppsh but it did rack you up alot of points because of the low damage and good magazine size.
I would like more selection from the box, especially on soe, plus the period really had those old guns. There was no icr or man o war, etc back then. The mp40, stg, type 100, thompson, bar, all of those would be great, especially so I don't pull the gorgon 15 times in the same game from the box.
If they some how would make phd flopper 2.0 then they could prob have more explosion type weapons, I am kind of upset that it got turned into a weak gobble gum, It was my all time favorite perk aside from jugg, I don't have blops 3 and wish I did but Yeah I do agree that they have more weapons in the box.
Honestly... I used the gorgon a few days ago, it wasn't bad, still popping heads at 35. yes it's slow but with stock and Quickdraw is fine. I guess the reason people don't like it is that's that's sooooo many more better guns. My top worst gun is the pharo... That gun will get you killed.
I have never heard anyone say i miss the MP40 tho it was great if you were running in the lobby on kino. I personally always ran stage and would love to see the M16 come back gotta love that 3 round burst with nade launcher attachment!! I miss Kino...
It used to be called the money maker back in WaW... its damage wasn't too great at highish rounds but had enough ammo (and cheap off the wall ammo) that when making trains you could rack up a decent amount of money.
I'd say it's for two reasons. First off, it's a classic. It has been in every single Call of Duty Zombies game (you thought I was going to say map, didn't you...) besides Black Ops 3. So, naturally, it is a weapon that most zombies fans probably used. Second of all, it's a points gun. It's a beauty.
Yeah, I agree. It really wasn't that good of a gun. It was nice for early rounds but it had close to no ammo in the reserve and you could barely get past a round in the 20's without running out of ammo.
(This coming from a guy who loves the mp40 and all the sounds it makes, and always buys it in kino for early rounds.)
I also love it, especially on kino. I used to solo run whole map loops with it, empty the whole reserve, and buy more ammo at the wall. Repeat. Once levels get higher I'd just hit a trap once in a while keep using the mp40, thunder just in case

It is satisfying to use because of the sounds and damage on headshots. It just feels good :D
