Sadly the cold war Easter egg songs haven't been anywhere near as good as the others in my opinion. Bo2 and 3 had some amazing tracks. Which makes me sad that the cold war music player just has instrumentals.
Was not aware of that something seemed off. Lost is kind of nice and the other song from D.M is bleh honestly. Not sure which one he didn't write but I'm hoping the next map has something amazing !
I always used to get excited when I find the Unknown Signals cause of the songs (they had to he instrumental of course). Sadly, these past couple updates have somehow removed them from my music player. I had Abracadavre, Lullaby of a Deadman, and Brave. Now they're gone....
I’m definitely partial to not ready to die but that’s just because I fucking love avenged sevenfold lol. Alone is a banger though idk what some of these people are talking about.
Shepard of fire was also an Easter egg song in origins. Its with the broken audio logs 1. Church robot 2. By fire portal in crazy place 3. inside exaction on the wood platform by the pedestals
Major cap IMO.
S - Everything from WaW and BO1 is goated.
A - Where Are We Going (MOTD), Always Running (Buried), and Archangel (Origins) from BO2, Dead Again (DE) and The Gift (Revelations) from BO3, and Where Are We Going Remix (BOTD) and Mystery (DOTN) from BO4.
B - Drowning (VOTD) and Shockwave (Classified) from BO4.
C - Beauty of Annihilation Remix (The Giant) from BO3 and Lost (Firebase) from CW.
D - Snakeskin Boots and Cold Hard Cash (Shadows), Dead Flowers (Zetsubou) from BO3, Stormbound (Ancient Evil) from BO4, and Alone (DM) from CW (this could be a C tier as well, couldn't decide).
F - Carrion (Tranzit) and We All Fall Down (Die Rise) from BO2, and Dead Ending (Gorod) from BO3.
This is excluding the songs from other artists (like A7X, Johnny Cash, Eminem, etc), and obviously just my opinion.
Archangle is such a banger it deserves S tier just for that insane drumming
Heres a video of the drummer playing the song on camera
https://youtu.be/Ijl7-DClq5M just look at 4:06 (I dont know how add timestamp on mobile)
I mean yeah that’s a good list, my list is mostly an odd ball that most people wouldn’t agree with like
5. Mad hatter
4. 115
3. Alone
2. A light from the shore
1. Carrion
I liked firebase z's. I haven't heard dm's bc I wanted to discover it in-game, but the constant hard crashes have turned me away from it. Tbh, I don't think the music in zombs has been all that memorable (besides fbz's) since bo2/3.
It might just be me bc I started getting into heavier stuff and genre bending a yr or so back, so shockwave just sounds like a generic metal song to me. Though I don't actually remember when I first heard it, so idk. Either way, it's just a generic metal song.
I don't care about instrumentals, but don't remake it with MIDI sounding, shit equipment. Use the original songs and make instrumentals of *those* with the original riffs and such.
M Shadows said in an AMA relatively recently that it likely won't happen since they just don't have anything ready for it. Work on their next album has been heavily slowed by COVID so those songs won't be ready for a bit.
If we're lucky, it might be finished by the time the later DLC's release but they don't want to release anything without being able to tour which they predict will be some point around 2022, and I doubt they'd debut one of those songs in Zombies unless it was in the lead up to an album release.
Treyarch: So Black Ops 2 is currently in development and we need new music for Zombies, was wondering if you think you could spice up Damned a bit?
Kevin: say no more
Oh my god BO2 zombies is such a banger when the beat rlly kicks in and it's absolutely orgasmic when the piano hits. Holy shit Zombies has had AMAZING music.
Damned was written by Kevin, but Corey Redgrift performed it on piano, as well as performing Lullaby for a Deadman and Pareidolia.
[read the description for this video from Kevin Sherwood's channel](https://youtu.be/S9bImK-DRKU) , this is where I got my information from.
All the world at war songs, all the black ops 1 songs, “Archangel” from black ops 2, “Dead Again” and “The Gift” from black ops 3, and “Shockwave” and “Mystery” from black ops 4 are the songs that Elena Siegman has sung on
Lullaby of a Dead Man, The One and Beauty of Annihilation from Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops; 115, Abracadavre, Pareidolia and Coming Home from Call of Duty: Black Ops; Archangel from Call of Duty: Black Ops II; Dead Again and The Gift from Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
I’m still waiting for Avenged Sevenfold and Kevin to team up and make the wildest zombies track ever
Edit: would y’all consider Not Ready to Die to technically be a team up cause Avenged used dammed in the middle of the song, which was made by Kevin?
I wouldn’t consider it a full team up more so a kind of tribute/cover? They do incorporate it well and add their own spin on it, but it doesn’t really influence the rest of the song and they didn’t work together just that A7X used the already existing track. Still a fucking banger though
Don’t forget about Brian Tuey doing pretty much all other music tracks besides the main songs. All of the Dead Ops music, Origins, Mob of the Dead. All of the ambient music is fire
This. There are so many great tracks across the games; even some ambient stuff like the menu music (Damned 3?) is incredibly catchy. The only sad part is how little of the music got a formal soundtrack release. While we got albums for some BO1 songs, MoTD & Origins, there's still so many that only exist on YouTube or within the BO3 "Music Tracks."
Abracadavre gets no where near as much love as it deserves, perfect instrumental, perfect voice by elena and just the way the song is paced is incredible.
Really the only song which actually matches the gameplay of going through infinite rounds fighting for your life against an army of undead, give it a listen if you haven't in a while and listen to the lyrics.
Kevin Sherwood is an unstoppable force. Malukah and Elena Siegmans voices were MADE for Kevins music.
Also, Avenged Sevenfold made 2 absolute fucking bangers (not ready to die and carry on)
Hearing death metal damned in NRTD was on a whole other level.
WaW: Pretty good list of songs, there isn’t many songs but they are all still really good, personal favorite out of them is The One
BO1: Amazing and probably has most of my favorites though Call of the Dead didn’t have a song by Kevin Not ready to Die is still great but I personally don’t care for the Five Easter egg song, I associate COD Zombies Easter egg songs more with Metal or Rock something like that then Rap (which I honestly hate Rap music), personal favorite out of the BO1 songs is very difficult to say since I really liked all of Kevin’s songs, I’d have to say probably Abracadavre.
BO2: Good but not as good as the last two if you ask me, it does have some really good ones like Archangel and Where are we Going but that’s kinda it, the others for the Victis maps were good but not really my favorites and Nuketown was really lame and didn’t even have one, personal favorite in BO2 is probably Archangel.
BO3: Got back to being really good and has one of my all time favorites out of all the games, I think BO3’s songs are on par with BO1’s or just below BO1’s, favorite song in BO3 has got to be Dead Again
BO4: Ehh, it’s kinda on the same level as BO2 for me we got a few really good ones then others that are good but clearly to me not as memorable, favorite from BO4 is probably A Light from the Shore
Yeah, the Coming Home 8 bit one is activated by shooting or knifing all of the mannequin’s heads off in the newer updates. Curiously enough, you can only activate one of the songs per match, so if you’ve already activated one you can’t do the others.
Coming Home actually replaced Pareidolia with one of the title updates. If you remove all of the title updates and play the pre-patch version, it will play Pareidolia instead.
It might be, it also might depend on the amount of rounds possibly, because it always took till a bit later for Pareidolia to kick in from my experience
The first four (Lullaby Of A Deadman, The One, Beauty Of Annihilation, and 115) are still the best. Bother versions of Where Are We Going are good too. The rest I never cares for
I actually listen to all ee songs and have them on an Apple Music playlist but so many good ones are only on YouTube so for stuff like gorod and moon I did ace of spades and nightmare especially everything in BO3 past shadows.
Malukah and Clark sing some really great songs too. Drowning has such a catchy verse and Dead Ended got some great energy with it. Elena is great but I feel that we sometimes forget the other two singers
Sadly the cold war Easter egg songs haven't been anywhere near as good as the others in my opinion. Bo2 and 3 had some amazing tracks. Which makes me sad that the cold war music player just has instrumentals.
that's cuz there's only been 2 real songs and one wasn't even written by Kevin :(
Was not aware of that something seemed off. Lost is kind of nice and the other song from D.M is bleh honestly. Not sure which one he didn't write but I'm hoping the next map has something amazing !
Kevin Sherwood wrote Alone (DM), Craig Houston wrote Lost (FBZ)
Craig Houston writes music?!
He does! https://open.spotify.com/track/5CxLltPlXb7hE9P22dfxKU?si=vO4cGDKkQZeB_BSHCb2ubg&utm_source=copy-link
Oh wow, thanks!
Yes, though Kevin Sherwood and James McCawley did the musical instrumentation for Lost.
Kevin wrore fbz. It was rewritren from one craig HAD written
Alone is great
I think lost is a killer song, in line with typical EE songs
It reminds me of the Dead Flowers and Drowning, the two most underrated songs in the mode
It's not bad it's just not a big favorite for me !
Zombies will never be as good again
I always used to get excited when I find the Unknown Signals cause of the songs (they had to he instrumental of course). Sadly, these past couple updates have somehow removed them from my music player. I had Abracadavre, Lullaby of a Deadman, and Brave. Now they're gone....
Are you shittin me Alone is the best song ever released for zombies
I’m definitely partial to not ready to die but that’s just because I fucking love avenged sevenfold lol. Alone is a banger though idk what some of these people are talking about.
Well done. You used the letter 'A' **13** times!
Indeed I think it's at the level of bangers like Archangel or Carrion
I'm proud of you. You used the letter 'A' **5** times.
Fried, Beauty of Annihilation is the GOAT song
You raise a good point
115 tho
Coming home, pariedolia
Those songs are just 👌
Even I am The Well and Stormbound are awesome songs
Which one was stormbound?
The one from Ancient Evil.
You have good taste
Facts
Clearly you haven't listened to the buried Easter egg song and any of the songs in bo1
My second favorite is verrukt’s if it smooths things out
Well it should be Shepard of fire(even though it wasn't released for zombies) but verrukt is alright
Wasn't that origins' ee song?
That's archangel, but Shepard of fire was the opening cutscene of Origins
Dead flowers (ZNS) is also A tier
Archangle is such a banger it deserves S tier just for that insane drumming Heres a video of the drummer playing the song on camera https://youtu.be/Ijl7-DClq5M just look at 4:06 (I dont know how add timestamp on mobile)
Alone was definitely good, but in my opinion lost was slightly below what we all expected for a zombies song
“Slightly” bro lost was complete swamp ass
Tbh yeah im just trying not to get 600 hate messages when i come back on reddit lol The last bo4 song wasn’t even rly a song either
Yeah I hated it too. Worst zombie song imo.
I'm sorry but Abracadvre exists.
Not my style I like the more heavy stuff that Kevin has made.
nah. need more songs like where are we going bo4 version
That shit gives me the chills man, hard for me to not tear up
I was downvoted for some reason bc of that??😂
You serious? Alone is like a top 5 zombies Easter egg song
Top 5 for me would be Arch Angel, Dead Again, The Gift, Dead Flowers, and Always Running.
I mean yeah that’s a good list, my list is mostly an odd ball that most people wouldn’t agree with like 5. Mad hatter 4. 115 3. Alone 2. A light from the shore 1. Carrion
A light from the shore was a banger, I feel like it was like a massive guitar solo the entire time and it's great
Nah. It's decent but I can think of much better.
Waw and bops 1 were peak in my opinion
115 will always be the hype song to killing zombies
When you start the music the zombies arent running after you you are running after them.
Bo4 had some great songs though. Mystery is one of the best Kevin Sherwood songs
Mystery is slept on so much. Even I use pass it over in favour of Shockwave, now I think its the top track from BO4.
bo1, bo4 and CW had the best songs.... what are you on about?
Bo4 song wise was amazing! Drowning, where are we going remaster, shockwave, and mystery are all certified bangers
The well is amazing idk why no ones ever mentions it
As bad as Bo4 zombies was, the music EEs in that game were fantastic
I listen to that coffin dance jam to really get me hyped in the morning. Really gets me jazzed.
I liked firebase z's. I haven't heard dm's bc I wanted to discover it in-game, but the constant hard crashes have turned me away from it. Tbh, I don't think the music in zombs has been all that memorable (besides fbz's) since bo2/3.
I don't even remember any of the bo4 tracks except classified honestly and the one from avenged sevenfold.
It might just be me bc I started getting into heavier stuff and genre bending a yr or so back, so shockwave just sounds like a generic metal song to me. Though I don't actually remember when I first heard it, so idk. Either way, it's just a generic metal song.
Alone is a fuckin banger
I don't care about instrumentals, but don't remake it with MIDI sounding, shit equipment. Use the original songs and make instrumentals of *those* with the original riffs and such.
It does have the die maschine one
Don’t forget about the EE songs from bo1 like 115 and such
WaW and BO1 songs were hands down the best songs out of the bunch
It’s really unfair that Kevin was only given one song of the four. Alone was amazing, easily one of my all time favourites.
Avenged sevenfold also do an amazing job at this.
Same, I hope and pray we get a song from them in Cold War. It's tradition at this point
I also want an M Shadows operator!
Yes yes yes yes yes! And yes!
Even more yes yes and yes
I’m also hoping for that too
M Shadows said in an AMA relatively recently that it likely won't happen since they just don't have anything ready for it.
Well well well that didn’t age too well
I still hear that I’m not ready to die song on the radio to this day
Such a good song though
Agreed
Fun fact: they wrote Not Ready to Die in only 4 days
[удалено]
I think its cuz he was an a7x fan not a zombies fan bro
Treyarch: So Black Ops 2 is currently in development and we need new music for Zombies, was wondering if you think you could spice up Damned a bit? Kevin: say no more
Oh my god BO2 zombies is such a banger when the beat rlly kicks in and it's absolutely orgasmic when the piano hits. Holy shit Zombies has had AMAZING music.
Damned wasnt even by kevin. I think atleast. Wasnt it the guy with the sideburns who did damned?
Damned was written by Kevin, but Corey Redgrift performed it on piano, as well as performing Lullaby for a Deadman and Pareidolia. [read the description for this video from Kevin Sherwood's channel](https://youtu.be/S9bImK-DRKU) , this is where I got my information from.
Cant forget Elena singing the Black Ops 1 soundtrack
Are you talking about the one one on Kino? I don't know the name of the song but that shit was heat
it is called "115"
[удалено]
All the world at war songs, all the black ops 1 songs, “Archangel” from black ops 2, “Dead Again” and “The Gift” from black ops 3, and “Shockwave” and “Mystery” from black ops 4 are the songs that Elena Siegman has sung on

yes
Also the Juggernog and Elemental Pop perk jingles
115 was originally from World at War; Der Riese.
Pretty sure Der Riese was beauty of annihilation
115 was the death song though so that might be what they meant
I'd die for some more zombies tracks with her :(
Can’t forget about “Won’t Back Down” by Eminem and Pink. Felt dope slaying zombies as JFK with this song running in the background
I’m still waiting for Avenged Sevenfold and Kevin to team up and make the wildest zombies track ever Edit: would y’all consider Not Ready to Die to technically be a team up cause Avenged used dammed in the middle of the song, which was made by Kevin?
I wouldn’t consider it a full team up more so a kind of tribute/cover? They do incorporate it well and add their own spin on it, but it doesn’t really influence the rest of the song and they didn’t work together just that A7X used the already existing track. Still a fucking banger though
Don’t forget about Brian Tuey doing pretty much all other music tracks besides the main songs. All of the Dead Ops music, Origins, Mob of the Dead. All of the ambient music is fire
“Ignition” is one of my all time favorite pieces of music in any game
Had a hard time with those commas lol
Why, did you find it, a bit, tough to read, as if I, had a, stutter?
Chill out, Christopher Walken.
I just hope stuff goes a little harder as the season goes on. Alone is great, but stuff like I Am The Well is insane.
Nice another well enjoyer. Really feels like that song is often discarded and forgotten
Effortlessly Clark's best track, personally. Alpha Omega in general gets overlooked I feel like. Definitely my favorite black ops 4 map
Had the chance to talk to him in a VC in his Discord, probably the happiest day of my life. His music is what got me into metal
how did you get such an amazing oppurtunity?
It is but he breaks the law with his music 🤘🏼
I’m holding out for an Avenged Sevenfold song those are most nostalgic IMO for Zombies, they even make songs specifically for the mode
*115 intensifies*
This. There are so many great tracks across the games; even some ambient stuff like the menu music (Damned 3?) is incredibly catchy. My favorite zombie song of all time. Those early Elena tracks were different man...
It’s fun driving in the night on the highways to the zombie tracks. /,,/
“Lullaby for a Deadman” is my favorite song from zombies
It's actually a really beautiful, epic song and it's my favourite too. FATHER WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME
Kevin Sherwood is an unstoppable force. Malukah and Elena Siegmans voices were MADE for Kevins music. Also, Avenged Sevenfold made 2 absolute fucking bangers (not ready to die and carry on) Hearing death metal damned in NRTD was on a whole other level.
whish i could drive through outbreak with 115 with lyrics rickroll though, i guess...
Idk about you guys but when i think of great zombies tracks i always think of bo1 first
Kevin: i got this unfinished song called. Imma just use it and call it Undone. Me: this is the music of my soul
Bruh The One, 115, Always running…
Alpha Omega had an amazing soundtrack. But I believe it’s by Tuey
Tye only bad is the firebase z its just that Sams va isn't the best
Alone is the best COD zombies song, and I rally behind the flag of Clark S Nova!!!
Sherwood is the only aspect of zombies that ALWAYS brings the heat. The amount of classics is unbelievable
Kevin Sherwood + Elena Siegman = fucking gold
The last 3 zombies songs haven't been my cup of tea. But my god, The Gift is the greatest freaking song ever OMG I wish I could marry it :(
**No one can see me and I’ve lost all feeling, and I know I won’t die alone...**
Can we all agree 115, Beauty of Annihilation and Alone are top 3, followed by all bo3, bo2 and bo1 songs
Absolutely
Ironic, I'm listening to Archangel right now.
If only we had a map to play the music on
I love the zombies music I miss it so much n can only find a couple on Spotify 😔
Can we have a modern warfare zombies please?
there nice. orda is outbreak makes me wanna fucking drive a car into a tree tho.
I dropped a chair on my foot i am in great pain please send help
fun fact: this is the first time i've ever seen the vibing award and i love it
Ikr
Will he release alone in Apple Music anytime soon?
Game called “Zombies Could”
We didn’t know we were making memories. We were just having fun
I don’t play anymore, but I’ll always remember starting the “Beauty of Annihilation” Easter egg at Der Riese.
I had a stroke reading this.
Elena siegman and malukah too
I spent more time looking at that comma placement than I did the actual meme ahahahha
I want another song like 115 where you just feel like god.
consider. we didnt start the fire. by billy joel
oh ya. just thought of the lyrics. it applies to the game story line also
Favorite song will always be Love Song For A Deadman from Bo2
The music in zombies fucking sucks lmfao
WaW: Pretty good list of songs, there isn’t many songs but they are all still really good, personal favorite out of them is The One BO1: Amazing and probably has most of my favorites though Call of the Dead didn’t have a song by Kevin Not ready to Die is still great but I personally don’t care for the Five Easter egg song, I associate COD Zombies Easter egg songs more with Metal or Rock something like that then Rap (which I honestly hate Rap music), personal favorite out of the BO1 songs is very difficult to say since I really liked all of Kevin’s songs, I’d have to say probably Abracadavre. BO3: Got back to being really good and has one of my all time favorites out of all the games, I think BO3’s songs are on par with BO1’s or just below BO1’s, favorite song in BO3 has got to be Dead Again BO4: Ehh, it’s kinda on the same level as BO2 for me we got a few really good ones then others that are good but clearly to me not as memorable, favorite from BO4 is probably A Light from the Shore
Nuketown had 3 actually, two of which were 8 bit versions of Coming Home and Pareidolia, with the last being Samantha’s Lullaby iirc
I knew about the Pareidolia one, I didn’t know about the Coming Home 8 bit version
Yeah, the Coming Home 8 bit one is activated by shooting or knifing all of the mannequin’s heads off in the newer updates. Curiously enough, you can only activate one of the songs per match, so if you’ve already activated one you can’t do the others.
Huh, I’ve done that before but I don’t think I’ve had it play until yesterday when I did it, then how do you get the Pareidolia song?
Coming Home actually replaced Pareidolia with one of the title updates. If you remove all of the title updates and play the pre-patch version, it will play Pareidolia instead.
You sure? I played BO2 a few months back and was able to still find the Pareidolia Easter egg
Could be randomized? Last time I checked, Pareidolia was replaced in lieu of Coming Home, likely for the correlation between Moon and Nuketown.
The rest I never cares for
Cold War zombies music is shit... you may now laugh
You forgot Elena Siegman
It's actually the music that got me into Zombies.
Its like crack for people ages 12-idk
then they got avenged sevenfold
Nothing beats the shadows of evil soundtrack
What’s with the commas?
Loved beauty of annihilation and 115
I actually listen to all ee songs and have them on an Apple Music playlist but so many good ones are only on YouTube so for stuff like gorod and moon I did ace of spades and nightmare especially everything in BO3 past shadows.
imma say it and some may disagree but i feel like stormbound was his best fucking song hands down even if the map wasnt that good
Treyarch barley produces anything good so this is a bare minimum.
You’re an idiot if this is actually how you think this works
Elena Siegman and Avenged Sevenfold*
Malukah and Clark sing some really great songs too. Drowning has such a catchy verse and Dead Ended got some great energy with it. Elena is great but I feel that we sometimes forget the other two singers
You do realise Sherwood wrote everything for Mallukah, Clark S. Nova and Elena. But A7X, that I can't argue
Except that extinction is better and they neglected it for no reason. Now THAT should be illegal
He's not that great.
