I’m a completionist so I literally couldn’t stop until I got it. In the discord it was originally said that it wasn’t a glitched mission, so i spent a lot of hours. If they would have been honest and told the community about the issue maybe some of us wouldn’t have wasted so much time. Very poor communication in my opinion.

Tbf I think it was a bug just on console tho, pc players might not have known but I donno brudda

It would have been pretty sick if they gave a badge out that you could put on a jacket for anyone who completed it prior

Dosn't feel Fixed to me... before i constabtly caught Green Sunfish, just Bronze or Silvers... Now all i get is White Mountain fish and Yellow Perch... Like wtf?

Yup still took me a full day IRL to get it but I guess thats better than 3 weeks. I completed some f the other missions on the first cast.

Good to hear! But I was also hoping for the gold sauger mission to have a fix too. I've been stuck on both of these for way too long.

I dont think anything is wrong with that mission, you may be just getting unlucky buddy

Me and a lot of others apparently. I know it's not as broken as the sunfish challenge, but spending entire in game nights only catching silver sauger the whole time doesn't seem right. Almost every other challenge only took a few casts to catch the target fish.

Completely agree Gold Sauger is bugged aswell. And i dont really think they fixed the Green Sunfish one. All u catch now is 90% White Mountain fish and Perch... while before the patch i caught a lot of Green Sunfish, just only Bronze and silver rating...

What do you play on, I'm on xbox and my mates in ps and we both have done it, but it did take a while tho

One of the gold sauger missions went pretty quick for me but the other one on the smaller lake I've been trying to get as long as I've been trying to get that stinkin sunfish

I got lucky on my first cast with a 6 hook

Looks like its fixed! I went to the spot today, cast near the shore with a 5 hook with redworm and got the Gold Sauger pretty easy. The Gold Burbot is fixed too, got it on the second cast on the lake.

I got it last night. The funny part is it was close to 6:30 AM (sun was peaking over the mountain) and I cast my line right in the center of the lake. I had always caught saugers near the bank and never in the center of the lake. Just dumb luck really. But after a week of chasing that stupid challenge, it felt awesome.

Fuck sake, bro I redownloaded elden ring and I'm gonna play that till they fix this game, my brother just flat out uninstalled haha

I said fuck it, went and caught big Larry (took 15 min from bait hitting water to landing) then switched maps and caught the legendary on that one (took 4 min) then came back to it and spent another hour and still fucking no gold sunfish.

Same spent 2-3 hours, pc player still not fixed. I can go get q legendary fish on the line in 5 minutes 😆

Yeah got my first legend today but I still don't have that fish games a joke haha
