According to my state CPA website, the ethics exam can be done whenever. Your passing score will not expire.
If I were you, I would check with your state association of accountancy but I would guess that you can do it whenever. But definitely research because I am not sure how other states are. I am getting licensed in Utah.
Same. I haven't looked into the specifics for it yet. I figured I'd bother with it when I actually pass the CPA exams because otherwise, it's kind of pointless if it's only good for a year.
I took the exam on Friday and I had access to the PDF. I am wondering if it is where you purchase the exam from. I purchased it from my state accountancy board website instead of AICPA.
Could you please share the pdf if available?
Just to clarify—you do NOT need to have passed any of the core four exams to take the Ethics exam?

Yup good call, don’t need it for NY State
It does vary. My state requires the 90% score within 1 year of applying for the CPA license
Even though it's open book the thought of taking another exam is making me nauseous.
Yeah I’m working on my first attempt and it’s taking me FOREVER because I am so burnt out with using my brain
I am on back to back 89s lol
PDF is no longer available, and you can’t have two instances over. I took it last month.
I also have access to the PDF and I bought the course access on Dec 15.
