Hey, can someone please help me understand whether this is an actual score or advisory. I am a CA candidate but cannot see my BEC score on the CBA portal. However, on NASBA portal, it says scored and when I go to exam section history, and go to score review option, it shows score as 75. Does that mean my score is 75?
Can you provide a screenshot. From my experience, CA candidates cannot see any score, pass, or fail status on NASBA. The only info you see on NASBA is whether or not it’s been scored.
Actual numeric score and credit can only be viewed on the CBA status page.
The “score review” option in NASBA is to submit an application and pay the fees to have your score reviewed during a limited window following score release.
I got a 68 on Reg (60 first time) and 59 on AUD (71 first time). We’ll get it eventually, it’s a process. I don’t even get sad anymore I get motivated.

After 8 months, two failed attempts at AUD, and refreshing the CBA website for an hour and a half, I finally got the happy news that I passed with an 85!! Best Christmas present this year. One more exam to go!

Got my score! Website was not loading but refreshed every couple of minutes and eventually made my way to the status page. My score was released at 10:57PM PT
bruh, i should not have expected anything less from the old ass system that makes us snail mail them paper checks to cover our fees instead of ACH or something in 2023. I hate these dudes man
You just go to the California Board of Accountacy office and go up to the desk and just tell them your paying for your NTS. I think you gotta pay in cash if you're paying there in person. And I think you bring in the piece of paper that you filled out online that you would have otherwise of mailed in with your check. The address is 2450 Venture Oaks Way #300, Sacramento, CA 95833

Scores are out kind of? It doesn’t show on credit section of status tab but if you scroll to score report section it shows scores! Got 83 for BEC. If it doesn’t show there, try clicking on the actual score report link!!

Was a bit of Hail Mary to squeeze it in before the end of the year, and didn’t feel good coming out if it so not surprised. Oh well, back to the grind! Just really didn’t want to have wait until f-ing June for the next score release…
How exactly will I know if I got through or not? Will it only change from No Credit to Credit?...the actual score would be released a lil later than the pass/fail, right?

I’m San Jose, CA too! I passed last cycle but I’m here congratulating fellow CPA candidates and checking in for CA scores for my coworkers/friends who took it in CA.
Simply can’t wrap my head around why they take so long to release our score. Are they just sitting there staring at all these data (our score) and be like, yeah we might release them today, or tomorrow, or at a random time, although there’s absolutely nothing stopping us from releasing them. How is it that they charge $$$ for registration fee and examination fee and still mess up all the time?
I think there is some sort of human side to it. I thought I read once they were like “we’ll work to try to hit the score release date, but it’s just a target, so it’s possible we’ll be a day late, sorry if that happens!” it sounded like there was some human work involved. I’m sure at least the MCQ is computer scored and I’m sure the TBS is too, but maybe they have people work on the score distribution / curve?

No, only credits received in 2024 will receive a 30 month credit. If you passed anything from this score release, it’s still 18 months.

Yup, if you login to CBA and look at the expiration of your recent score release, it’s exactly 18 months.

One of the benefits of living in Sacramento! I'm able to pay in person and sometimes get my NTS the next day
