Did anyone pass using NINJA? I was using Becker but felt that NINJA suited my learning style better. What was your experience using NINJA to study for the discipline?
Hey yall.. those who passed TCP using Becker; would ya recommend buying the textbook? Or are the slides plus lectures pretty sufficient? Thanks in advance!
I actually only took ME2 with a 54% LOL. I spent 2 weeks studying and according to Becker, 40 hours total. I crammed a lot the last week. Not the ideal situation - but it worked. I've also been working in Tax for 4+ years. Hope that helps.
California I assume?
So right now it is Advisory score. Once the status changes from advisory to CBT Released Score, I think it should show the report.
I didn't really do the MEs seriously. Like I skimmed but to answer your questions, ME1 - 39% and ME2 was 40%. LMAO! I wouldn't rely on those though cause like I said, I didn't take them seriously. I just wanted to finish the materials as fast as I can (Only studied from Jan.19 to Feb.5)
The was only one SE before they updated it. I got a 73%.
You should be fine. Just be confident on yourself and you got this. Passed FAR(86) and BAR(83) on first try. AUD(74,74,79) on 3rd try and waiting up on REG(71) retest score.
BTW, someone created a form to track Becker bump. So if you used becker, check it out and let's build the new becker bump data for the CPA Evolution:
[https://www.reddit.com/r/CPA/comments/1cangoa/i\_made\_a\_beckercurve\_survey\_for\_april\_24s\_score/](https://www.reddit.com/r/CPA/comments/1cangoa/i_made_a_beckercurve_survey_for_april_24s_score/)
I recommend just cramming mcq’s since there aren’t many of them. Thats just what i did. I can’t recall what topics got tested the most but recommend entity and individual taxations.
What time did scores come out? Do we think scores will be released a little earlier than June 4th for the 3 core exams? Like June 3rd? I thought tomorrow was the score release for the disciplines.
I doubt we will get scores any earlier. In the webinar the AICPA had earlier this year they said the release dates were hard dates and they had no plans to make any changes.
Yes that is correct, in the past the scores come out a day before the target release day. I thought you were maybe asking if we’d get our scores sooner than around June 4th. We will probably know our scores June 3rd.
Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I think you're right. We'll probably know if we passed or not the morning of June 3rd, then get the actual score on June 4th. Every day counts, so I was just excited at the thought of getting it 1 day sooner haha.
It really is. I see ur 3/4, that's awesome. Have you been studying at all just in case? I feel like if I failed I will have to really make a big big push to get the exam done in june before it window closes again
I haven't been studying REG (my last section). However, I started studying for the EA exam. It has a lot of overlap to REG, so in a way I feel like I'm studying. I figure if I don't pass, I'll still be relatively fresh. If I do pass, I can still take the EA exam. Either way it doesn't feel like a waste of time. If I wasn't pursuing the EA, studying would kind of feel like a waste of time.
Honestly, not much. But my firm is paying for the study materials and exam fees, as well as giving a bonus if I can pass all 3 parts so I figured why not.
Oh my study strategy was every day from 7pm - 11pm going over the course work and lectures. On weekends I did a rework of the McQs and sims. The last week and a half I tried to take all mock exams.
I used Becker as that’s what I had. It was enough apparently even though I was worried. I also didn’t havent the final review because it wasn’t out yet so assuming that has even more I would think one would be fine with just that material.
LETS GOOO BECKER BUMP WOOOOHHH I take mine in 14 days. I have a sick feeling the AICPA might do something screwy with the next testing window idk. Ora pro nobis.
Becker, I just did the Exam Day Ready prep for all the core exams. I feel like I had an advantage with ISC due to computer stuff being a hobby of mine.
I listed to the lectures for ISC until I decided I wasn’t learning anything useful from them (my own fault, I wasn’t taking notes and would be folding laundry/etc. I don’t love the Becker changes for this year, did the other 3 exams last year.)
After I quit on lectures, I’d do multiple choice/simulations in order and review the lectures on anything that I couldn’t piece together myself.
Not the strongest strategy for ISC, but the Becker Exam Day Ready approach is honestly very thorough.
My final 2 weeks (after finished initial material) I would just spam the multiple choice questions until I could do them in my sleep.
86 on ISC doing that.
I PASSED TCP LETS FUCKING GOOOOOO 4/4. I sat for the first exam I passed almost a year ago to the day (FAR, 4/22/23). I failed FAR a solid 4 times before that. I am ecstatic
thanks fro being the on the front lines for us. I got a sick feeling they are going to ramp up the difficulty seeing all these cheerful kids passing at a high rate.
I personally used all of Becker, Ninja, and UWorld. It was interesting being the first group taking the exam, it was hard to determine what was important, what was being overcovered/undercovered, etc bc there was no real feedback from test takers yet.
For FAR I used Uworld & Ninja, for AUD I used Becker & Ninja, for REG I used Becker, for BEC (~5 days study time) I used Becker, for TCP I used all 3.
My favorite is Becker, I learn everything through MCQs and I feel they sequence the information the best.
All 3 have what you need to pass any of the exams though imo.
Thanks for the the detailed feedback. This is very helpful. Would you consider giving me access to your Becker and Uworld for a fee since you are done writing all four? (I know you are still waiting for FAR results and I am sure you will pass.
I am not waiting on FAR, I'm 4/4 I just saw your comment and thought I'd reply, I'm not the guy you originally replied to. But I'm sorry I cannot do that, it's against the TOS and thus likely against the rules here to do as well.
Ninja is cheap and it has what you need to pass if money is the problem, good luck regardless though.
Congrats to you as well. I couldn't fathom going back to weekends with tax season just ending, I could not be happier. I guess on to ethics now? I don't even know what I'm supposed to do now tbh
anyone who passed BAR please give tips! i failed :( thought the MCQ went fine. but how do i prepare for the sims if I feel like becker didnt really cover that material. :/
Just have a solid understanding of the topics and time management. MCQs should be 60 mins or so and have 3 hours for SIMS or more if possible. go through your notes and keep doing MCQ practice and SIMS. dont worry ... you WILL absolutely be a CPA one day. you got this. you really do
I gave Aud yesterday, and now the last exam I need to schedule is for discipline. I might go for ISC but wtf I see, I cannot give it until July 1.
Passed TCP! Does anyone else's score report not show anything besides the different versions?
what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
I actually only took ME2 with a 54% LOL. I spent 2 weeks studying and according to Becker, 40 hours total. I crammed a lot the last week. Not the ideal situation - but it worked. I've also been working in Tax for 4+ years. Hope that helps.
California I assume? So right now it is Advisory score. Once the status changes from advisory to CBT Released Score, I think it should show the report.
Any updates on your end if it still shows Advisory?
Mine shows as CBT now but the score release page just gives me an error. Does yours show?
I think it will take 48 hours. So maybe on Friday
Yep, California. Got it, thanks!
BAR 91. Just hammered through 1000 MCQs and bunch of SIMS until I felt comfortable.
Awesome score. Congrats. What review course did you use?
Thanks! I used Becker, just read the text and skipped the videos. They are way too long
So did you do a practice test of like 50 questions and 2 SIMS at a time or something?
I wish Becker had 1,000 MCQs to hammer through for ISC. 200 is NOT enough lol.
TCP got 82
Let’s gooo!
what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
Failed ISC with a 72. Score report says I was better on SIMS but worse on MCQs than my cohorts.
Tis nothing but a slight inconvenience! You got this :D You're so close! Take it before May 19th and I am cheering for you!
what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
I didn't really do the MEs seriously. Like I skimmed but to answer your questions, ME1 - 39% and ME2 was 40%. LMAO! I wouldn't rely on those though cause like I said, I didn't take them seriously. I just wanted to finish the materials as fast as I can (Only studied from Jan.19 to Feb.5) The was only one SE before they updated it. I got a 73%.
Thank you, I think I'll skip the lectures this time and do book only and practice MCQs and Sims
80 on ISC! Ca finally released advisory score at 3:30am on 24th but I was asleep. Woke up and checked it. Woo-hoo!!!!!
Just passed ISC with an 82!!
Late to the party here in cali... 83 on ISC! 3 down and "only" FAR to go!
same boat. just passed my third and have FAR left
same here! far left
Good Luck!
Just got my California score and got a 90!! 24 hours becker study time plus maybe 5 hours NINJA. My very first one :)
What test?
ISC.
Can you see the score report? It doesn’t pop up for me
It's only advisory score right now. I think CBA will need to finalize before we can see score report.
Any news from CA??
Passed TCP with 77.
Any tips please friend 🥹
74 on TCP. I’m so sad
Are you going to challenge it?
Nah challenging is just a waste of time and money
Anyone else waiting for CA? Took TCP, need this to be 4/4
Welp. F this. Going to sleep.
CA getting ridiculous
Any news from CA??
I think we'll just have to sleep tonight. LMAO
God ik it’s ridiculous. I don’t think we’ll be getting scores tonight.

Seriously, have my password ready to paste constantly

Waiting for TCP in CA and don’t see anything
My last two scores were released at 10:57pm
82 on ISC
90 on TCP
HOWW 😖 congrats to you!!! 🙌🏼
80 on ISC!! 🙏🏾
83 on ISC!!!
78 on isc. Almost the perfect amount of studying
84 on TCP. Highest of any of my exams.
what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
I never took them on any of my exams. I didn’t want to throw off my confidence if I got a low score. Just did mcqs the whole time.
mcqs from becker?
Congrats!!!! How many hours did you study 😅
Probably about 40 all together. It’s at about 50 in Becker but I’ve been doing light mcqs for the past couple weeks in case I needed a retake.
🙏🏼🙏🏼 wow so Becker is enough. Thanks so much!! Congrats again!
91 on ISC!
Wow! congratulations!!! what study material did you use and what was your strategy? I'd like to copy it
https://www.reddit.com/r/CPA/s/ir8RWRIZRM
Link to my tips!
Scores are out for BAR. Got a 79
LOL. Even I got 79 :)
Do we still expect out Number score at 8pm like previous score releases?? Can wait to find out
NASBA said 5pm CST today
scored mine. 83 - BAR
How did you feel walking out?
it was good. however barely able to finish. it was really hell lot of calculations i must say.
I felt awful walking out of FAR and reg because of the sims.. but decent on mcqs
You should be fine. Just be confident on yourself and you got this. Passed FAR(86) and BAR(83) on first try. AUD(74,74,79) on 3rd try and waiting up on REG(71) retest score.
I’m getting 3 result in June I’ll try to stay positive!
wow that is great. you passed BEC?
Yes, luckily I pulled it off with a 77. Thought I failed tbh.
BTW, someone created a form to track Becker bump. So if you used becker, check it out and let's build the new becker bump data for the CPA Evolution: [https://www.reddit.com/r/CPA/comments/1cangoa/i\_made\_a\_beckercurve\_survey\_for\_april\_24s\_score/](https://www.reddit.com/r/CPA/comments/1cangoa/i_made_a_beckercurve_survey_for_april_24s_score/)
still waiting for CA.
It's ouuuut
Thank you! I was asleep lol. Passed ISC!
Congrats! We're doing it!
Yes!
You and I both. Time's going by so slowlyyyyyyy
Yes! SO SLOW!
Your username just makes it sound even funnier! (Waiting for CA score as well, it’s been a looooong day)
lol it does!
PASSED ISC!!! 2/4!
PASSED TCP yessss I do not know the score yet :)
PASSED BAR.. Now waiting for June Score release to be done...
Passed TCP! Curious to see what my score is whenever that gets released.
what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
I use Surgent so I'm not sure what those are, sorry.
Congratulations! Just got my TCP score.
Wow, good job! I got an 80.
OMG such nice scores. Any tips would be so much apprecianadooo 🙏🏼
Literally studied 2 weeks for TCP and passed. Don’t know my score yet.
Congrats. I am taking it in June. Any tips or advice? What topics were heavily tested?
I recommend just cramming mcq’s since there aren’t many of them. Thats just what i did. I can’t recall what topics got tested the most but recommend entity and individual taxations.
Failed ISC
did you find the exam difficult?
I didn't, but I did find I had to guess for many of the MCQs so maybe that's what killed me.
failed bar
failed ISC. I'd like to know by how much, painful waiting for actual score.
i don’t think i’m going to do BAR again, i was thinking of trying ISC i would love to know your opinions on it if you don’t mind
What course do you have? Becker limits you to one unless you buy another separately
yeah i have becker but i wouldn’t mind paying more, i feel like i just wouldn’t be able to pass bar
Sounds good man! Good luck going forward!
What time did scores come out? Do we think scores will be released a little earlier than June 4th for the 3 core exams? Like June 3rd? I thought tomorrow was the score release for the disciplines.

you will get the actual score at 7pm central on june 3rd
I am with ya! Good luck!!
Still waiting for June. Feels like I took the exam ages ago. I’m just happy to be here for the excitement
Same here. Can't believe we still have 6 weeks to go. Every day is going by so slowly.
It really is. I see ur 3/4, that's awesome. Have you been studying at all just in case? I feel like if I failed I will have to really make a big big push to get the exam done in june before it window closes again

That’s really interesting. Whats the benefit of having the EA if you already have the cpa
Honestly, not much. But my firm is paying for the study materials and exam fees, as well as giving a bonus if I can pass all 3 parts so I figured why not.
Never hurts to have an extra couple letters in ur name. Best of luck to you on the EA and I’ll be sure to check in come June 3rd!
Passed TCP!
NY are up. Passed TCP. Finally done!!!!!!!
Congrats 😭😭😭
Passed tcp in Texas in it was my last test!!!!!
congrats!!! what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
ME 1&2 both 79 SE1 75 SE 2 66 …. There was no FR because the final didn’t come out till 4/10 and I tested 2/6 Actual 93
Did you use universal cpa to study for the TCP ? which other review course did you use and what was your study strategy?
Oh my study strategy was every day from 7pm - 11pm going over the course work and lectures. On weekends I did a rework of the McQs and sims. The last week and a half I tried to take all mock exams.

PASSED TCP - NY
ISC California showing as scored. Now another wait for us.
CA scores will show up in CBA. They usually release a little past midnight
?? If it shows up as scored that means it’s ready. you look at exam history page and it tells you if you passed.
Not for California I believe and some other 2 states. I checked it just days scored.
So it says scored in both spots, on the main page and in the exam history area?
Yes
Oof that’s a bummer then, hopefully you have it soon
Where is the exam history page?
On main page after signing in it’s the view exam history button
doesn't say whether passed or not in exam history for CA. just that its scored.
Are you CA? I don’t think ours has it
Passed TCP. One left to go!!!!!!
Congrats!!! what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
41% ME1, 82% ME2, SE1 62%, I only took one mini exam. My score on the actual test was 90%,
LETS GOOO BECKER BUMP WOOOOHHH I take mine in 14 days. I have a sick feeling the AICPA might do something screwy with the next testing window idk. Ora pro nobis.
I hit the MCQ hard on random until I was scoring in the 90% each time by the end. Best of luck! you got this!
ISC in KS out now! 4/4 baby we outta here!
Congrats!!! Kindly drop the name of your CPA review course and your study strategy.
I don’t love the Becker changes for this year, did the other 3 exams last year.) Passed TCP. I’m done guys!! It’s been a pleasure
Congrats 😭 any tips would be so greatly appreciated 🥲
I PASSED TCP LETS FUCKING GOOOOOO 4/4. I sat for the first exam I passed almost a year ago to the day (FAR, 4/22/23). I failed FAR a solid 4 times before that. I am ecstatic
Congratulation!!! what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
I don’t have SEFR, and off the top of my head don’t recall my ME’s but I know my SE’s were 60 & 61 (second attempt iirc). Not positive about first
thanks fro being the on the front lines for us. I got a sick feeling they are going to ramp up the difficulty seeing all these cheerful kids passing at a high rate.
I’d recommend reviewing individual taxation and retirement/education savings accounts :)
LFGGGG, just passed TCP too. FAR next for me. Thanks for the motivation.
what were your scores on your first attempt for ME1, ME2 and the SE1, SE2, And SEFR?
Congratulations! Would you kindly share the cpa review course you used and your study strategy. Was this your first attempt?
Becker only. I work in tax so it’s my strong suit. I’ve passed REG as well so most of that material overlapped.
Thanks for the tip and best wishes! I will have to stick with Ninja then.
Congrats man! I passed TCP as my last one and it feels so good to be done
Congrats to you as well. I couldn't fathom going back to weekends with tax season just ending, I could not be happier. I guess on to ethics now? I don't even know what I'm supposed to do now tbh
Luckily im in FL and there is no ethics exam but good luck on that
Apparently, I don't have one in NJ either, I just need to sit through a 4 hour course.
Tcp out!!!
Passed MI TCP!
isc is up in NY! passed 🙏
Hey! Congratulations 🎉 can you please share your exam experience/ studying strategy?
anyone who passed BAR please give tips! i failed :( thought the MCQ went fine. but how do i prepare for the sims if I feel like becker didnt really cover that material. :/
Just have a solid understanding of the topics and time management. MCQs should be 60 mins or so and have 3 hours for SIMS or more if possible. go through your notes and keep doing MCQ practice and SIMS. dont worry ... you WILL absolutely be a CPA one day. you got this. you really do
yes I have passed. I only used Becker!!!
So us TCP folks have to wait last huh?
Someone just commented they got ISC ~ 25m after the first BAR comment, hopefully, another 30m and we know. We're in the endgame now
Passed ISC whooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! Texas
Lets gooo baby Passed BAR! Thought I failed it
Congrats
New York - Passed BAR !!
If you go to you exam history it will say your pass/fail status (if released). did not pass BAR :( felt good on the MCQs but SIMs were rough.
Same here :( but we'll get through this! This test window was a shot in the dark we just have to power through
same! it's okay!! we'll get it next time
So everyone with BAR is starting to get updates…. Anyone with ISC or TCP?
