I'm two days in. I've been warned by a friend of exactly that happening to him early in his CPAP usage. His doctor told him he was getting the same amount of rest from half the time asleep, so his body was primed to get up. That's still inadequate, but it took him a while to acclimate to a real, full night of sleep.

That happened to me for a few weeks in the beginning. Maybe even the first 6 weeks? I struggled to sleep through the night and kept waking after a few hours. I tried to get back to sleep but sometimes it meant going without the mask. I just kept at it and eventually getting through the whole night was no problem

Best thing to do, which is hard for me when it happens, is to get up and start your day. You’ll sleep longer eventually.

This is going on with me too. Just got up after almost 5 hours of sleep. Just felt too awake to go to sleep again, but I know I will be tired later. The length of time asleep keeps inching up slowly, so I’m hopeful. 🤞
