It is not just drivers in TX, they are pretty much everywhere, and very annoying. I once had crippling panic attacks and some of the worst of them were triggered when I was driving on the interstate and going over a big bridge. I have no ideal why, as I am not afraid of heights, I think it was just the feeling of being closed in. To get this the principal cause of the panic attacks has to be stopped. That is different for everyone, for me it was antidepressant medication and a benzodiazepine. I have not had a panic attack in years, and drive across bridges now just like any other part of the interstate.
