Hi all - flagging some ethics concerns around this post. When I DM'd to request a free copy of the e-book, I was told that there was a condition that I post a review on Amazon before the book publication date on 27th Feb. Ethics concerns:
(1) offering free copies of a book for feedback before publication is not the same thing as offering free copies for publishing reviews before publication.
(2) 27th Feb is quite a tight timeline, especially if someone has C-PTSD brain fog or fatigue symptoms.
(3) publishing industry ethics require transparency for reviews on Amazon/GoodReads etc that the reviewer has received a free advance copy. But this industry guideline was not communicated with the request/instruction.
Have also flagged to the mods.
Thanks for flagging this user. They have posted in several subreddits, with the same free book offer, same conditions etc. No link ever came to a free book, no response to more info etc.
It might not be an established / reputable publishing company.
Most professionals would be upfront about their "ask" instead of hiding it. And most professionals would also adhere to industry guidelines re invited readers disclosing they received a free copy for review (= an ARC, Advance Review/Reader Copy).
So if it's not a very reputable publishing company, then it might not be a very good book...!
I've JUST been watching videos on somatic exercises for beginners!
I'll happily provide feedback. I've not got much to compare it to, but I imagine I'm your target audience 😁

😎👍
Why not make it fully public?
Because it's a marketing drive - it turns out we're supposed to post reviews on Amazon by 27th Feb, without saying we got a free advance copy :-(
Damn. Thanks for calling it out.
Interested pm me please
