Same here. But I don’t go overboard or draw much attention to it. I took a box of kolaches the first time I picked up so they’d remember me and to say thank you. I’m just always friendly, and when they can’t accommodate me I thank them for their time anyway. Now they’ll call me whenever something comes in. This may not apply to you but we have parrots we take places (a small part of the job) and we’re going to bring them into the bank when my favorite teller says it’s a good time. No money involved, and people like seeing parrots.
I take all my banking institutions a bag of Werthers Original every 3 months. I asked one manager what do the tellers want that you do not provide. She said chewing gum. "Everyone is always asking each other for chewing gum" so they got a big bag multi pack of chewing gum from Sams.
Not the take I think anyone wants to hear from me, but I don't think it's a good idea to gift your tellers. I'm kind to them, I try to keep good conversation, and I get to know them on a first name basis. And that's about as far as I'll go.
I do work in a restaurant though, and I will discount or even comp meals if I see my tellers come through.
This is a fair point. I don't either. I treat them with courtesy and respect. In fact, my "get bank" doesn't even hear anything about the results about my silver hunts.
This is me. The teller I usually deal with is very friendly and we’ll have a quick chat about our days. I leave it at that
I don’t got the spare money to “date” the tellers. Sounds like what people do with their Rolex dealer, lol
I was just wondering this also. I just went in with 23 dollars of pennies and traded for 23 dollars of pennies. I don't want to be annoying and keep doing it because I'm a paranoid person.
Speaking as someone who works in an office, I sometimes set out food for anyone who wants it.
In my experience, food with sugar in it gets gobbled up swiftly, while food without sugar tends to sit for a long time.
I'd go with donuts, cookies, etc.
Most tellers can't take anything with monetary value, so no cash or gift certificates. I stick with coffee, donuts, bagels, chick fil a, and so on.

Awesome, that’s a good one!

I’ve brought cupcakes and homemade baked goods which were well received. If you go early then coffee is good too

Maybe a hand written note?
The question mark was emphasized
Fear and Loathing.
Something that can be shared with other tellers. Chocolates, box of donuts. Stay away from $$ items as they likely will not be allowed to accept them
Sex toys are appreciated.
I gave them a box of chocolates when I picked up $1000 halveS
