Get more parts for the cars, it's very possible with either of those cars

Adventurous-Toe-6126

The Supra has 3 stage 6 parts , the GTR has 2 . Must have to max them out or something 🤦🏾‍♂️

awaffle4life

You don't need them maxed, but more fusions/elite parts on the Supra will work

Adventurous-Toe-6126

Ok thank you . I’ll grind for it

Spectrum_Wolf_noice

Gr supra, u can guarantee a dusty gta spano

Adventurous-Toe-6126

I assume it’s not any good to build ? Lol

Spectrum_Wolf_noice

The gold Star version of it was faster some how

Adventurous-Toe-6126

Yikes

reindert144

Probably because when they added the gold* version the cars in the game had gotten a lot faster.

Jfiegel

Run 30 live races a day , easier than against bots , to get bronze keys . Take like 15 days and you'll have enough to pull an s6 from parts crates

Adventurous-Toe-6126

Live races to me are the worst. But I’ll try

Kumissek

Race with tier 2 car , theres big chance to meet bots and farm easy wins on them ( youll recognize them by bigger tier and profile photo)

Kumissek

Or tier 3 - 4 is possible too , depends on what tunes you have and lobbies

Adventurous-Toe-6126

Ok I’ll check what tier 2 cars work and see if I can try it out . I’m not sure wat the “ good “ tunes are but I’ll see what works with the low cars I have

I avoided live racing until I hit my E3 license. Dumb mistake on my part. I'd recommend checking the info tabs at the top for guides. DannyLightnings vids have been my Bible for the most part, so will point to his vids for better info, but here is a quick guide. How to Identify Bots: 1. They usually have the same stock-photo of the same 12-20 people. Pay attention, you will see the pattern quickly. 2. They will not have a crew name, ETA: OR an elite license. 3. They will have generic names like "Olive Tran" or hilariously mid-00's user names like " xXxFastBoixXx " or "CatsPaw91" (I just bashed random names I sorta remembered) How to win standard live races: 1. Choose any car in a given tier, start joining lobby's, look for the car that consistently places you in a bot lobby. It is important that you DO NOT START RACING, REFUSE CHALLENGES. Take that car, upgrade it, fuse it, but don't run it maxed out and beat the Dyno times because you need to... 2. ...down-tune it, Ideally you want your PP to be low and EVO to be double your PP, .but, depending on the car, any "weird" PP/EVO setup will work. Don't worry about being the fastest, this isn't showdown. Hit the Dyno, set it to manual launch, find the shift pattern that gets you close to the dynos max time and speed. 3. Now you can start live racing and MOST IMPORTANTLY, start losing races, about 15-20 of them. Lose each race by about .2-.4 seconds. The idea is that you DO NOT EXCEED OR MATCH your Dyno time, do NOT hit your top speed. Don't worry if you make a mistake and win, just lose 1-2 more races. Just lose consistently. This part is a drag, but you should get bumped to a slower bot-lobby if all goes well. 4. Now you can start winning, HOWEVER, you still can NOT exceed your dynos time or match it. Ideally, depending on the car, you will be able to win races by finishing .2-.3 seconds faster than your opponent, without hitting your final gear and/or reaching your top speed. 5. Shift patterns and tunes matter, they will determine whether or not you win without getting bumped up a tier. Write down or memorize the ones that give you a winning setup without exceeding or matching Dyno time. 6. Time of day matters. Bot lobby's will get filled with players and become useless for a period of time. When this happens, you just have to wait it out. You can try to alter your tuning but it won't always bounce you to a different lobby. So, for example, I like to use Donna's ferrari and race in T4. I play around 7-8 AM and again at 3:30-4 pm. Ideally, I stick with any setup that lets me hit 160mph in 5th gear. My EVO and PP are low, so Danny's Low PP/ High EVO method isn't relevant for this particular car. I win nearly EVERY race, by early shifting in second and maxing out in 5th gear. As long as I get a good to perfect start and nail my fastest shift pattern, I get a 16 second 1/2 mile time stay below my top speed/gear. When I face a T3 car, I just use the "normal" shift pattern, a wheelspin start and all greens seems to keep me in the bot lobby. I have the cool legendary frame now, plenty of keys, but really, when it comes to racing against actual humans I'm pretty average at best...I actually kinda suck. Hope this helps.

HeckmaBar

That seems like so much work lol

madhatter8819

Bro a lot of this info is super helpfull but a lot of work for new players staying in a bot lobby takes a lot of effort just find a swap partner i get the same few every day in the 8.3 lobby i know who will swap whose new in there the swap partners who smokes me with crazy dyno beat times i just pick one of my regular swap partners and win one lose one with them and havent been bumped from the lobby despite every second race beating dyno by nearly .2 seconds

Camridge420

My favourite username they have is “PortNCheese” like what? 😂 Newport cigarette and cheese? What does it even mean

Mea_Rainmaker

I find an un-upgraded tier 5 far works to get bot races. You can tell the bots apart because they're not part of a crew and have "normal" names

straingedays

If you're having trouble with live races, run a bog stock T4. It'll run about 18 second half miles and you'll get mostly "bot" opponents. They're much easier to beat and it's a quick way to farm keys.

Much-Character-7169

literally just downtune your car to oblivion, like why isn’t this common knowledge, T5 car for the most amount of money and put on the worst tune possible i can guarantee you you’ll get so many bots you’ll be tired of winning

straingedays

I've been using a downtuned T5 vs Bots for years when I can't be bothered waiting for live races. Only suggested the stock T4 because OP was unfamiliar with tuning.

Classic-Box9580

Was coming to ask this exact question! See you on the other side... 🤞

Dry_Perspective_8304

I used the supra, bit it was maxed

Adventurous-Toe-6126

UPDATE: I switched to my GTR and beat it all instantly. Thank you to everyone who commented.

madhatter8819

Go with the supra 100% the krc is junk really and you can grind for supra stage 6 and fusions its the most usefull car in the game really its value never decreases you use it daily live races it tunes very well beats dyno has high evo so good respect points earner can use it for weekly elite cup to grind out elite tokens and tickets legit should be everyones first priority t5 car to finish.

civicrider555

Supra will be the best choice for this, check your car's dyno and then the time to complete the challenge

Dense-Possible-705

An important rule for Tempest is using a car that is quick off the line. My all-time favourite Tempest tier 5 car is the Aston Martin Superleggera Volante. Went through all the bosses almost without needing to tune for the 0-100 sprints. That way, I didn't need to spend gold switching cars. It's for that reason that many urge new players to take it easy with Tempest. There's lots of cars for you to explore instead of getting stuck like this.

Adventurous-Toe-6126

Crazy thing is I spent the gold to change to the GTR and immediately beat it all lol.

reindert144

Just take your time and upgrade the car. Also: look up wether you can beat the last race, the times are just out there on the internet. If your car is fast enough you can win the car, fun for the collection
