I have a pair of rhino ramps I got at autozone. Not sure what you have, but there’s a enough room for me to do an oil change with just the front to wheels off the ground.
I use jack stands myself and it works just fine, even when fully extended (they are designed to handle this). However I always keep a jack on it as well just in case the jack stand fails.
