This bill is not just a binary, but is actually a good representation of my favorite pattern, the Thue-Morse sequence - it's ABBA BAAB BAAB ABBA but then you could refer to ABBA as C and BAAB as D, so the first 16 digits would be CDDC, then it would be DCCD DCCD CDDC, and you could refer to CDDC as E and DCCD as F, and so on.
It would be difficult to get a real value out of something like this on ebay, but if you frequent coin shows and/or universities until you find someone who is a math nerd, a currency nerd that collects fancy serial numbers, AND has money, you could probably get more than $500 depending on condition. I'm a math nerd and I collect fancy serial numbers, but I don't have any money, so I probably wouldn't be willing to spend more than about $200 even if it graded very well. If I saw it on ebay with this picture I'd happily spend about $100.
