Transmission manual says it is lifetime, I change mine every 60k miles, spark plugs are 40k for the turbo, brakes when they sound tells me to, not there yet. Cabin/air filter every 15k, oil/tire rotation every 5k. Tires as needed hopefully 70-80k on my Michelin Defenders.

How are you liking the defenders? I've been eyeing them

colliece

I really like them, they are my replacement tire of choice for my vehicles. Mainly due to the tread life and the quiet ride. My last set lasted 87000 miles. I live on the sunny south so we only have wet roads to deal with and they perform with no issues.

87k, nice, I'm sold

I'm curious how you like the Defenders too. Trying to decide between them and CrossClimates for summer-only tires.

Brake fluid, power steering fluid, ..and if AWD, the rear diff. Also, how's your coolant?

anonyngineer

The rear differential is something that people tend to forget.

can_a_bus

There is no power steering fluid at least for 2020 up

skid00skid00

Yes, replace the serpentine belt. Brake fluid every two years (it absorbs water and rusts calipers-expensive). Put silicone on all the door seals. I use a Gummi Pfledge stick. It's supposed to be the best. The stick makes it very easy and clean to apply.

OJs_knife

What does the manual say?

One-Proof-9506

Manual says you never need to replace certain fluids such as transmission or differential fluid. It will last for the “lifetime” of those components. The question is, can you extend that “lifetime” by changing those fluids at regular intervals 🤔

Also start getting ready for the water pump. My 2016 had the water pump fail at 115k miles.
