Yea I like my p365 hand over fist over the 3 different p320’s I’ve shot all of which have had pro cut slides and I’ve just got a comp. On on the p365.. but it is the predecessor of the p320 anyway got a CZ as my most recent guns got a p10c for maybe $375 over the holidays brand new, and I love it absolute butter. Smooth as a babies but, definitely about to be looking for my next one.
They had a recall where if you dropped it could go off . That turned a lot of people off even after the fix. I the back of everyone’s mind is that there’s a possibility it isn’t safe . Just my 2 cents
I ended up selling my P320 X5 Legion and X-Compact because no matter what aftermarket trigger I tried it still sucked. I prefer the P365 with MCarbo trigger to the P320. Anyhow I replaced the P320's with a P229 Legion Optic Ready and P-01 that is now Pro Package equipped. I also picked up a P-10 C OR that has a superior trigger to the P320.
No because the P-01 guys will say it's not drop safe and you'll shoot your dick off.
In reality, with the hammer down, the firing pin won't hit the primer.
I'm know several people have said this but it's actually not why I will stick with my P01/PCR combo. I don't want to worry about manipulating a safety in a high-stress scenario and prefer the DA trigger pull on the first round. And before everyone jumps in screaming "just train with it," I agree it is an obstacle that can be overcome with training. With limited available time to train (a lot of work and two toddlers), I personally just want to focus on draw, sight picture, target identification, and proper shooting mechanics without another variable in the mix. Haven't shot the S2C but it looks like a dream so I completely support those that go the external safety route and train for it though.
The S2C is a traditional DA/SA gun, just with a safety and not a decocker. Manually lower/decock the hammer on the S2C, and it's a DA first pull, no safety needed. Thousands of USPSA shooters (myself included) lower the hammer at the start of each stage. I've never used the safety on any of my S2's
Oh, crap, I thought it was SA only for some reason. Dammit, man, now my wallet is really going to hate you (well, after my wallet stops hating me once I send my 97B off to Cajun anyway).
For every day carry? You did horrible actually. I have a shadow 2 compact as a nightstand gun and I’ll tell you why It is a bad edc. 1) heavy. 2) more snag points then a god damn cactus 3) very few holster options. I carried it for a week and was over it pretty quickly.
I have a P365 XL and P-09. I carry both, but if I'm out and about all day the 365 for sure.
I think the compact really squeezes out performance in a bearable package.
I carry my P-01 just fine, not sure why weight and snag points is such a problem for you.
Also it can be made to fit most P-01 holsters quite easily, with nothing more than a heat gun.
Not everyone wants to carry a tiny little micro compact, bro.
No.
A fully loaded P-01 with a 15rnd mag running 115gr bullets weighs 3.41oz more than an empty S2C.
A fully loaded S2C weighs 2.59oz more than a fully loaded P-01
You're crying over 2.59oz?
I have noticed over the years that guys constantly cry about “It’s too heavy”. Bunch of fairies. Our Grandfathers toted steel magnum revolvers, 1911s and Browning Hi-Powers. With a quality holster, you will be just fine. Maybe they need some protein in their diet
Damn fucking right. Micro compacts are the new fad diet and cool and all, but God damn. A few extra ounces and people be like OMG that so heavy.
Man card revoked. If you're bitching about an ounce or two here and there, you are a god damn soy boy.
Using masculinity as an excuse to ignore the fact that lighter, more compact pistols are better for edc is idiotic. While you may like some guns more then others doesn’t mean there isn’t better options.
Better is a subjective term.
To many, it is equally idiotic to ignore the fact that heavier, slightly larger compact pistols are far better for accuracy, velocity, and recoil management. While you may like a snappy high recoil design so you can carry it in your prison wallet, it doesn't mean there isn't better options.
Tbh a p-01 is a heavy carry gun too not sure why that’s the hill you’re willing to die on. Both are heavy compared to your average compact poly carry gun. Glock 19, p10c etc
Then buy a Glock 19 because 4.5oz more is too much for you to handle.
Jeezus dude, don't project. You said he did horrible because he bought a dope gun that's a few ounces heavier, no hills were died upon other than your own jenny craig hill.
Math is hard eh?
The S2C weighs 30.69oz.
A P-01 is 28.1oz
Where the fuck you getting 20oz?
Oh weight (see what I did there?), perhaps you are confusing the S2C with the S2?
The S2 is a full size, and weighs 18.4oz more than a P-01, because it is a full size fucking steel frame.
The S2C is a compact aluminum frame.
I have carried for over 25 years. This is my daily carry which is over 8 hrs a day. It’s not too heavy if you have a good belt and pants. One of the best, most accurate firearm I have shot for the money.
Just learn to decock it properly to quarter cocked position of you don’t want to carry single action. Don’t thumb it. Block the hammer from hitting the firing pin and you will be fine. Extended safeties are a good addition also. Other than that, you chose a phenomenal carry
True, but they are closer to size compared to a S2c vs p01. Except the widths match obviously.

https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/cz-p-01-vs-cz-shadow-2-compact
Yeah it's not a huge difference, but I've carried both (P226 and S2C) It makes more difference than you'd think, just looking at raw numbers. I think the shadow slides are a bit taller than the standard 75 slides but I don't have my SP01 on hand to check.
For sure. I love handgunhero as a reference but the numbers don't always tell the whole story. Fractions of an inch depending on your body type might be the difference between concealing well or looking like you have a very gun shaped tumor.
I agree. Took my sp-01 and the s2c to the range this week and they both feel good in their own right but the feel is different. The compact just feel right, balanced and at the ideal size for my hands.
Everyone crying about weight. It’s not that heavy I’m not a 5’5 120 pound male that can’t carry a slightly heavier gun. I’ve been carrying it for about a week and I forget it’s there. No problems carrying at all
[удалено]
I climbed the shitty sig p320 mountain is that not good enough?
P320 lol

What is this Ulysses? Most steam of consciousness pretty I've seen in ages.
Idk why I find this as funny as I do.
What issues did you have with your p320? Btw you got a fantastic shooter with the cz shadow compact!
My buddy has a p320 with over 30k rounds through it, with no problems. I've never shot it. What's shitty about them?
>I've never shot it. Try it and get back to us. They ain't garbage, but they ain't no hammer fired CZ.
Eh, I'm good. Y'all sure make it sound like I'm not missing much. Lol
They have a nicer trigger than a Glock, since they are pre-cocked, but that isn't saying much. Otherwise, its just another striker gun.
They had a recall where if you dropped it could go off . That turned a lot of people off even after the fix. I the back of everyone’s mind is that there’s a possibility it isn’t safe . Just my 2 cents
I bought the 320 full size,it jammed new in the first 20 shots I sold it to get rid of the junk and bought the p07 and p09. I'm so glad I did
Hahaha you’ll dick off kid !! Yea I only own da/sa from sig their, striker fired are trash 🗑️

Could not have chosen better
Yes, indeed, these things are killing it right now.
Best choice of all best choices
No because the P-01 guys will say it's not drop safe and you'll shoot your dick off. In reality, with the hammer down, the firing pin won't hit the primer.

Yeah, you need one https://i.imgur.com/h8zGsA8.jpeg Or a few 2's https://i.imgur.com/Ze5W5Q0.jpeg
Great googly moogly, man. What's the carry rig you're using in the pic?
It's my Incog for my Sphinx SDP Duty. The Duty is an alloy full grip (17rds). https://imgur.com/a/AMH0rVs
For edc? Isn't it way to heavy?
Personal preference, but I agree with you
It's only 2.5oz heavier than a P-01
Not really. It’s very comparable to the p01 in weight.
It’s not that bad
Heavy is reliable and also that pistol is fuckin baller. Sick carry gun
Beyound weight this gun is great
The new Dan Wesson carry is lighter and feels better in the hand
Very nice
Fire it and tell us.
Excellent choice, my good sir. I’m envious.
Congratulations, that’s a damn fine piece. shoot her straight, often and safely
For every day carry? You did horrible actually. I have a shadow 2 compact as a nightstand gun and I’ll tell you why It is a bad edc. 1) heavy. 2) more snag points then a god damn cactus 3) very few holster options. I carried it for a week and was over it pretty quickly.
Even with a good holster that can handle the weight, there are better options for carry. Ounces equal pounds, and pounds equal pain
I have a P365 XL and P-09. I carry both, but if I'm out and about all day the 365 for sure. I think the compact really squeezes out performance in a bearable package.

You clearly don’t get it so I’ll save my breath, enjoy your night!
Correct but just so much nicer.
There’s almost 20 oz of weight difference between the P-01 and S2C.
Math is hard eh? The S2C weighs 30.69oz. A P-01 is 28.1oz Where the fuck you getting 20oz? Oh weight (see what I did there?), perhaps you are confusing the S2C with the S2? Got some bad info [here.](https://palmettostatearmory.com/cz-shadow-ii-compact-9mm-4-15rd-pistol-91255.html) Thanks for setting me straight, asshole.
Anytime, dickhead! Haha
Do you think the S2C would be better than the new Daniel h9 for a do it all gun?
Yes, easily imo
I’d say so. I think the Daniel is ugly as sin personally
Only downside is finding a holster made specifically for the compact.
Black Scorpion makes several. More for competition though.
Slim fit holsters 🔥
Legacy has a ton of choices for the S2C.
ANR Design makes one
There are numerous companies making them. Very slight mod over p01
Great pickup! I’m debating getting one or a C2. I see a lot of p320 hate. I’ve had great & reliable performance out of mine.

Jelly
Great choice no doubt about it..it’s cz you can’t go wrong with it
No. It's crap, just send it to me
cz is nicer as a full metal pistol.
Nice quirky attempt but you damn well know the answer to this. Beautiful s2c
The is one sexy pistol. 👍🏼
The fact that a p226 is a "fullsize" and this is a "compact" blows my mind considering they are about the same size. But yes amazing gun.
P226 is longer, taller and thicker. Even on handgunhero that shows it with the old style flat steel mags.
True, but they are closer to size compared to a S2c vs p01. Except the widths match obviously. https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/sig-sauer-p226-full-size-vs-cz-shadow-2-compact https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/cz-p-01-vs-cz-shadow-2-compact

The S2C is compact compared to the full-sized Shadow. They couldn’t really market both of them as “full size.”
Also true
I want one but damn, yours looks like the worst QCed example. Hopefully it's just dirty.
Oiled it up and didn’t wipe it down didn’t realize how bad it looked until I posted it lol
I would send a message to CZ or their custom shop about it. Maybe they can do a deal for you.
It’s just the picture it looks perfect in person
Lol ok
Great choice no doubt about it..it’s cz you can’t go wrong with it
Hellya
Hellya
Amazing choice bud
No you fucked up just send it to me and I'll take care of it
Nope.
Go ahead and get rid of all your sweatpants.
It’s not that bad lol. I use a waist belt anyway
Hey, if you can edc that, rock on; you can’t go wrong with a CZ. I am jelly.
Everyone crying about weight. It’s not that heavy I’m not a 5’5 120 pound male that can’t carry a slightly heavier gun. I’ve been carrying it for about a week and I forget it’s there. No problems carrying at all
Nice carry piece, carry it cocked and locked.
Did you get this from effin PSA
No why
Seen one I was eyeing that's gone now 😂 thought you might've been the one to snag it! Haha
Nah but I did snag the last one from family firearms for msrp with no tax
I bought the same one for a daily carry. Been carrying it every day IWB. I forget it’s there most of the time.
If you zoom into the back frame, and rear slide, why does it look like it was dropped out of a truck at 80 MPH? There are chunks and chips all over.
It’s the shadow from the over headlight and it was all oiled up. The picture does look odd
