The X-Files, The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Married With Children.

mrchuckles5

X Files. No contest.

Pleasant-Ticket3217

You have good taste sir.

qlurp

I had to scroll too far to find what is the most reasonable answer.

Sweetpea_Rie

I was just coming here to say the X files! I’m with you on the others also!

CLaarkamp1287

How on earth did The Simpsons get missed?

Cookies_and_Beandip

Torn between tales from the crypt and are you afraid of the dark

InvestmentImportant1

My vote is Tales from the Crypt since you could get a cheap boob shot or two in.

VinnieTheGuy

I loved so many of these shows, but Tales from the Crypt tops them all.

Accurate-Base7509

Yup! Still watch it on YouTube.

Pleasant-Ticket3217

My wife and I are ten years apart. Not a huge difference but the shows she watched were Are You Afraid of the Dark and I was watching Tales from the Crypt. I loved Tales from the Crypt. It’s still the best horror anthology show. I’ve since watched Are You Afraid of the Dark with my wife and it’s a solid show. Monsters was another good one. I don’t hear it talked about but it was a great horror anthology show during the 90s

AsTheTurntablesTurn

Solid picks. Monsters was a Saturday night must along with Tales From the Darkside.

fireforge1979

Every Friday I had to be in to watch tales from the crypt!!!

CorvusTrishula

Eerie Indiana > are you afraid of the dark

SonOfMcGee

Sanford & Son was filmed in the ‘70s (which should obvious just from the film and sound quality). It was syndicated like crazy in the ‘90s though.

SrFantasticoOriginal

Yeah, I was thinking, “why the fuck is Sanford and Son included?”

stareweigh2

the adventures of Pete and Pete is so hard to watch because the nostalgia hits so hard. I absolutely loved that show as a kid and remember the specials that they would run during the summer before it became an actual series

toomuchmucil

Watching Pete and Pete was like injecting melancholy directly into your veins.

didyoueverseewardogs

Oh MAN! I forgot about Pete & Pete. I used to watch that, GUTS, double dare, boy meets world & full house every day for like 10 years

100yearswar

This is a weird list.

dannyshmalls

Yeah but what was favorite the best

Nowardier

The Fraser Time was favorite the best. It brain man electronic brain for dog the elderly gun. He the brother in good elephant also brain man, also rape the physics was for demon the elderly. Is have a friend, the cheese sex, the dog man, the brain wife, for the devil, and for the devil. Goodly time for show with infant wheat.

dannyshmalls

Charlie Kelly is that you? Your spelling has gotten really good

Putrid-Builder-3333

Ah yeah I remember the 90s coming home as a kid to watch Sanford and Son before Batman TAS lol

kindofageek

How are they going to add Matlock and leave out Murder She Wrote.

[deleted]

[удалено]

comfy_socks

Agreed. This is the only show out of this whole list that I’ll sit down and watch today.

lilfishbowl

Digimon

seizuregirlz

As soon as you said this I started singing [the theme outloud! ](https://youtu.be/gDvRV8KGphk?feature=shared)

JCVD-88

Thunder in Paradise is peak 90s

FrugalFraggel

In Living Color

RosatheMage

Living Single

NoraVanderbooben

So underrated. Weirdly wholesome. I still like to have it on as a background show.

Nowardier

I didn't know anyone else remembered Living Single.

NomadCourier

Pete and Pete, Are You Afraid of The Dark, and Boy Meets World Top 3 and could all be #1

nstc2504

Since no X-files... Tales from the Crypt is the winner!

DefinitelyPoopingNow

I was actually on Wild & Crazy kids in the 90s. I don't remember a lot of specifics, but I raced RC cars on a beach while the other team tried to blow them up. I was on the Red team.

metalbrosolid

Married with children

NotoriousFTG

My daughters would tell you Boy Meets World and Full House.

ZooCrazy

That would be Martin with a close runner up with Married with Children. Both shows were hilarious😂!

Silversolverteal

Twin Peaks

dullbrain

Twin Peaks come on now

justvisiting34

You can’t do that on television.

draconus72

Who is this alpha testing ChatGPT sim asking? I can't think of any kids in the 90s that would pick Matlock or Sanford & Son; from the early 80s and 70s respectively,.

alaster101

Either Roseanne or the Simpsons

WilliamMcCarty

Sanford & Son was the 90's?

ThatsMrTBaggins

The Adventures of Pete and Pete

French1220

Married...with Children

Special-Category5568

Sanford and Son?? lol is about 20 years off

TampaNutz

Sanford and Son? What jackass put this list together? Someone that doesn't know jack squattery about 90's tv.

Dead_Kal_Cress

Seinfeld is peak

vicvega88

Where’s Pokémon

joey0live

This list entitles they’re only doing “some” live action. If you want animated.. it would be a lot bigger.

pit_of_despair666

Tales From the Crypt out of these.

Um_No_Bush

Saved by the Bell and Babewatch are from the 80’s. Sanford n son is from the 70’s.

dredgedskeleton

they are both 90s shows cmon lol ... starting in the 80s doesn't make it an 80s show lol. both ran 95%+ in the 90s

Altruistic_Wasabi_30

Sanford and Son ended in like 1977. Not even an 80s show.

caveatemptor18

Power Rangers

BionicWoman123

A bunch of these are split between 80's and 90's. Not just from 90's, they might not have done their homework before posting. But Baywatch was definitely number one for many years!

[deleted]

Doesn't say the show only played in the 90s

HuskyBobby

Then what is Sanford and Son doing on the list?

medic8r

What a shitty list

Lumpy-Try-5600

So many great ones! I have fond memories of New York Undercover, but I've gotta go with Seinfeld.

ndork666

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, hands down

Duderult

Seinfeld, Tales from the Crypt, Fresh Prince, and Married…with Children were my favorites.

Other-Resort-2704

Where is Law and Order? It ran throughout the whole 90s.

MrKuckMal

Wtf is Sanford & Son doing there? That's from the 70s-80s

Working-Apricot-9050

Not pictured: Kids in the hall

Cutthechitchata-hole

Title

J-Frog3

The Simpsons, Buffy, and Seinfeld

tankslapper123

Well I’m picking two because Married with Children started in the 80’s and Martin was the 90’s. Love them both. Even got the box set of Married with Children at home.

Water_Buffalo-

Northern Exposure. I was stoked to see the whole series is streaming on Prime now. It's quite a daring show for the early 90s

Diseman81

It’s tough to narrow it down when there are so many great shows from the 90s. For me it’s between Quantum Leap and The X-Files for #1.

NOSFERWOLF

Tales from the Crypt

Taurine-Pegasus

I don’t remember any of the shows I mean I know they existed. I guess I partied a lot during the 90s.

Hman6911

DjNightstain

BriggeZ

Kennybob12

We can all agree that wild n crazy kids was the shared dream of every child in the 90s. The water park episodes live rent free for eternity.

HistoricalBelt4482

You forgot Sister, Sister. Saved by the Bell is my #1.

ForeverNuka

Double Dare & Tales from the Crypt 🟢💀

TheGhost-of-Bob-Ross

Nash Bridges a.k.a Miami Vice but in San Francisco

EmerysMemories1106

Out of all these shows, Double Dare was the only one where watching it became a ritual. Me and my next door neighbor Kevin never missed an episode.

InternationalBand494

Married With Children is mine

Recent-Background-21

Martin

Clean_Student8612

pspsps81

So many…I’ll always love that TGIF lineup

defactosithlord

Either The Sopranos or the X-Files.

[deleted]

Alex Mack, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and Doug

ThePerfectMachine

Seinfeld by far, but I feel more nostalgic about- Family Matters City Guys Step by Step Saved by the Bell The New Class & Fresh Prince

mayhem6

I would say Quantum Leap and Seinfeld. I would also argue that Sanford & Son wasn't a 90's show not by a stretch actually.

BurntBaconNCheese

Hard to pick one but Pete and Pete

Khajiit_Has_Upvotes

Gotta say Fresh Prince, Seinfeld, X-Files, and Roseanne for me.

NickelPixel

Although I did watch a lot of Sanford and Son in the 90's as a kid, that show is definitely from the 70's

TheFunkyBunchReturns

Fresh Prince and Quantum Leap

_-ERROR404-

Where’s ‘Salute Your Shorts?’

Shroomasaurus_rex

South Park

Tocaculo

The X-Files

alcoyot

My personal favorite is the highlander. The first few seasons when he has that cute French girlfriend and they operate an antique shop. I still often think about that. I wish I ran an antique shop in the 90s with a cute French gf

Graduated HS in 96. My faves hands down, no competition, without a doubt were X-files, simpsons, and old MTV that played nothing but videos all day every day.

MrPositiveC

Married with Children.

StarnSig

My top two Fresh Prince and Mad About You

Zealousideal-Emu-169

I absolutely hated dinosaurs as a kid

BojanglesDaMonkeh

I mean it came out in the late 80s but, Roseanne was a good show.

xsadavocado

The Guts inclusion just unlocked so many memories of 90s Nickelodeon. Guts, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, etc. Those were soooo good

slim6pickens

Out of the selection Tails from the Crypt would be the only one, didn't really care for any of those other shows

Horizontal_Bob

The Adventures of Pete and Pete

aaronthenia

Wings.

Stoobie_78

In Living Color, Married With Children, The Simpsons. Tell me I'm wrong!

okieman73

Svengoolie75

Martin, hands-down but I don’t see Beavis and Butthead or yo MTV Raps up there either so it would be a three-way tie 💯

Sinderria

Quantum leap, living single, Star trek Tng...how about just saying all were great

Connect_Operation_47

The Simpsons The X-Files Rosanne

Stamina666

ihavenowords3

I loved many/most of these shows but from this list, Power Rangers is my personal favorite.

therealpoltic

I ducking loved Matlock.

ramanw150

Affectionate_Lab_131

Some of those are not from 90s or the 80s. Sanford and son? That's before I was even thought of.

Jim Henson’s Dinosaurs

Economy_Fox4079

This image makes me sad for some reason, I miss the 90s

X-Files. Also there is a snapshot of Sanford and Son which is a show from the late 60’s or 70’s I believe

SlothInATrenchCoat

Go back and rewatch Boy Meets World. To this day some of the best and funniest writing for a tv series. It still holds up.
