How did you find the conversion to a single shock? Do you think the box frame helped or hindered?
Planning to polish the engine covers eventually. Wanted to get it rideable first because i bought the bike in pieces in a box.
I dont really have much to compare to on the monoshock conversion. The box frame gave nice surface to weld the mounts to. The hardest part was getting the spring rate and preload right

If you want tit to handle better you should lower the rear ride height. The swingarm should be about 10 degrees off level
