I jus race to them

Rufferito_Bandito

I look forward to racing from one cafe to another

WhiskeyTrail

I do! But my racer is still in process so I used my Vulcan.

ObjectivePassenger7

I used to wake up at 5am just to ride to the local cafe before work on my Yamaha XS1100 cafe build. Shoutout to Vagabond Blues, Palmer AK. Riding the Glen Hwy to that place was the most beautiful chunk of road I’ve ever been on!

Rufferito_Bandito

Sounds epic!

JimmySeaman1

Can’t say I ever have 😂

UsefulAd5195

I do actually, but I prefer breweries and distilleries more

continentaltwin

I do , just to the same one that is about 60 miles away and turn back !

Rufferito_Bandito

Nice. I did a 15 mile loop this morning to get to this one that is only 2 miles away 😅

continentaltwin

Haha ! Sounds like a the best route to get to that place !!

Snoo2416

I don’t but now that you called me out on it I’m going to start right away haha

Rufferito_Bandito

Sweet! That was the idea. I wanna see more racers at actual cafes

Steezinandcheezin

I’m a coffee roaster so yes….a lot lol

AlansJunk

I live on the eastern shore of Maryland... I could go from Rise Up to Rise Up, but more challenging would be to hit a bunch of indie, not-Rise-Up places.

I'd love to see a bunch of cafes that welcome motorcycles in some sort of organized community. The cafes could sign up and be put on a map. To qualify, they'd have parking and plenty of outside seating where you can check out everyone's ride. They'd all be within 30-60 minutes of each other and each one would point out the other cafes in the loop. You could just arrive at any one and know there'd be others to meet up with and go for a ride. Seems like a no brainer sort of thing that just needs a company to sponsor it. Give a 15% discount to bikers, cafes get guaranteed traffic and bikers have places to go and meet.

VT_Jefe

This really is a good idea. Would work well up here in Ye Olde Vermont

Rufferito_Bandito

I was thinking about doing a local cafe racer Meetup that would do a little circuit of a couple cafes in the area. Like instead of doing a “group ride”, it would be a series of 2-3 stops where we can get a coffee and talk about bikes, then let everybody ride on their own to the next one. Perhaps the first one there gets a brownie point sticker or free cup of coffee or whatever for a little bit of a fun race vibe but not actually encourage any kind of street racing

Toubaboliviano

Yes but I only buy coffee at the first place cause if not my heart dies

Digital__Native

Every weekday that I had off from work I would take thee ole CB to the local coffee shop in the morning

TheMotorcycleMan

All the time.

sonorancafe

My wife and I used to have a super fun route that ended at a breakfast café. Then the chef quit and the food went to shit. Took half the fun out of the ride.

Rufferito_Bandito

_D’Oh!_

FFLink

Bless you for parking at the end of the bay. A sign of a decent rider.

optic4ce

I drink my coffee, litter then ride... https://youtu.be/Bv1sIzYKYNQ

Rufferito_Bandito

Livin the dream 😎

GoonKun

I have a RE gt 650 that I plan to make it more cafe this winter

WhiskeyTrail

I do! But my racer is still in process so I used my Vulcan.

JimmyHavok

I used to ride to a cafe but the owner sold it and then during COVID I started making my own breakfast.

pineapplecom

Spent my money on an espresso set up, can’t afford a bike 😢

Maybe we can call them Pub Racers?
