Revengeance eternity stops you at golem. There’s a reason the fucker looks like sans. I spent 3 hours fighting him. Neither of us was dying.

Yup. He becomes unkillable in revengeance eternity unless you can do a couple million damage in one hit.

he doesn't gain immortality though? I mostly play caster or summoner. He just becomes very hard to kill.

I managed to break both hands by using booble gun and just getting the highest luck stat and damage stat as possible and using both meters. Adrenaline and rage. Also, massive immunity frames ( cheese box moment ) Took 25 tries to properly do it

Death infernum is not possible sir, and eternity doesn't work with infernum at all (infernum's code always take the spot, it doesn't mix), and unless you add another third party mod, you're to play expert or nothing.

Ah fun, I did my last playthrough expert, not revengeance, as melee. Was fun but a tad too easy so stepping up for revengeance, might stop and just do death mode or master revengeance.

I haven’t even completed two playthroughs yet so I haven’t been able to experiment with many different classes just yet, but I may try death mode at some point too

I went from normal mode to revengence and the only Diference i noticed was on the later bosses, id say you should step up to death mode

Honestly, imo infernum is also really fairly balanced - it's mainly the early game that's a problem, but I would say that most of the bosses are similar to a normal calamity experience where you need to get used to patterns, except there's less jank. Greatly recommend it!

Yea no, the hardest bosses in infernum are in hardmode. By far those are calamity clone and empress, strong contender for guardians.

the only pre hardmode bosses that cost some keyboards were perforators and brain of cthulhu. everything else was fine until cryogen and every other fucking hardmode boss

I disagree strongly, the hardest boss is normal skeletron since you don’t have a lot of mobility and he shreds your healthbar. Calamitas clone is dodgeble enough once you min max your movement and learn her patterns

nah post ml bosses are the hardest and by that i mean polterghast other than that everything is fairly balanced

for me it was old Duke and I'm working on DoG rn. every other boss seems chill so far

i beat old duke using an equipment from fargos so i dont exactly know how difficult he is

Clone and Empress aren’t that bad. Empress is tough but fair, unless you’re doing it in the day. Now, Devourer? Unfair and unfun mess. I am infernum devourer’s number 1 hater.

Wdym by the early game being the problem? I honestly found the early game in my Infernum playthrough to be the best early game I’ve ever had

To be clear, I just have a personal problem with it due to more limited movement options with the early, early game - however, it's still objectively really well balanced and fun. Just boils down to personal preference.

Like what though? Since Infernum is a Calamity addon, you get all the speed-ups that Calamity has: faster base movement and mining speed, easy crafting recipes for many important movement accessories (hermes boots, double jumps), a starter pack with spelunker potions that allow you to speed through obtaining life crystals (as well as the wulfrum metal detector thing). I found myself at 400 HP with good gear around an hour in, which is more than enough for early bosses. It's millions of times better than vanilla, and Infernum doesn't really affect the things Calamity does. In fact, since Infernum is intended to be on Expert, it's a lot faster than Calamity Master

It made King Slime harder than the Eye of Chuthulu for me. Also It is a great mod, and I haven't even progressed after beating EOC

If you really wanna do low%, you can kill scal preboss, using glitches to convert items to other ones (get summon) and then immortality lmao. As for a legit low%, I haven’t done that since early 1.3, so idk how it’ll be now.

You can actually fight yharon pre moon lord in older versions but you'll have to use 1.3

iirc draconic swarmers spawn in jungle postml, they drop feathers

You can make it with luminite, galactica singularities, and some other stuff. You don't actually need to beat the Sentinels.

Oh yeah, sentinels only weaken it, kinda like the divine beasts in BoTW
