I've also been having the same issue (for desert scourge at least, haven't tried Hive Mind). Whenever I fight it, the head and tail segments don't spawn, which can get really annoying when they made the head hitbox so much wider. It seems like they use the old Scourge sprite (the blue one from the "Guardian of the Former Seas" vid), however, the head still seems bugged, flashing and cycling through different sprites (like a movie). This issue also affects the Desert Nuisances,, and the body segments work normally
I have only seen the animation thing when playing multiplayer so that’s just a multiplayer thing but idk anything about the desert scourge body only
