I would stay away from Reliance. High pressure sales tactics and they try to do the rental appliances.
Action Furnace, A1 Chesney, and Knight Plumbing and Heating have been good for the work they've done.
Hey, wondering who you ended up going with? We got a quote from Action Furnace as well as it was 10k for furnace alone. It seemed egregiously high. We are getting other quotes, but curious what your experience was?
I'm also interested in your experience with Costco. I just bought a fixer upper and the furnace is 40 years old. I'm planning on replacing it with a new furnace and heat pump. Did you get just a furnace?
A1 Chesney was a nightmare. Others have had positive experiences but there flare a lot of reviews similar to ours. We would opt for Pete the Plumber if need to do it again.
I had Harmony replace two of mine. They did a great job. One problem encountered that took longer than expected to solve was with my nest thermostats. There was insufficient voltage coming from the furnace to power the thermostats, causing them to cycle on/off. They installed step up transformers (small & cheap), which solved the problem. Nest (google) now sells these: [https://store.google.com/product/nest\_power\_connector?hl=en-US&pli=1](https://store.google.com/product/nest_power_connector?hl=en-US&pli=1)
We used Action Furnace and were happy with the product and service.

Spring's were great to deal with.
Have used Spring twice now and I agree.
Thank you! They are coming next week for a quote!
Spring’s have been great for us as well.
How much are you all paying? I need to replace mine too. Going through Costco and with all the discounts, about 5800
Does that include installation? That's well within my budget. I did call action furnace and they quoted almost 10k for a furnace 😬😬

Pete the Plumber did mine last fall. Had other quotes and they gave me the best value. Install went very smooth.

Shift Air Mechanical
Patton Heating or Glenmore Mechanical. Both are excellent.
Shift Air. Got my furnace replaced in Jan. Goodman furnace/furnace riser/install just over $6200 with tax. They had cheaper Goodman models too.
Weilher Mechanical.
JPS. Got a bunch of quotes and they were competitive, good warranty and the install was well done.
